The search for Healing Crystals of Fire (Silver Jedi)

Matsu looked at the two of them as they stod on the ship going quickly. Rianna's question was an important one as not many things liked showing history from before the time of the Republic. "Fifteen thousand years before the Republic, the Imperium has scouted far and we found several of their ships in the companion galaxies. This world was just another they went to and found use for possibly." She kept going and found a weather worn hatch into the ship as the ancient metal creaked. Then protested before slipping inside, it wasn't durasteel some different and as they went inside there was a notable drop in temperature.

Matsu continued going forward and looking at the steel while Rianna and Maya could contemplate some of it. She had been here once before when it was safer to arrive and now looked at the rooms of the ship. Filled with dust and cobwebs while the viewports slowly became more covered in dirt and sand until they were just covered completely. The light not coming down while she dug around in her pack and found glow rods cracking them as the green glow illuminated the hallways. It was still a massive ship even down this far and coming to one of the larger rooms as she slid a hand over the wall to activate other equipment.

The lights coming on now harsh and not from the ship but flood lights that had been set up to illuminate the area, there were desks for research and chairs to oversee what had been found. "We used to send teams out here to study the planet, study the ship, there is still a great deal we do not understand about the Imperiums technology and defending against their entechment is something we only have a base knowledge of. Her hands were still over the lights while searching and swiping she brushed off some dust from a console pulling up a holographic image. "Please enter your pass code"....

Matsu thought about it and wondered if the system was still relaying information to Tython but it mattered little in the end. Most didn't even know where this world was or what the jedi did here. That gave an advantage after all while Matsu continued to type quickly until she was finding and shifting the images, accessing the navigational data from the Imperium scout ship and putting her datapad into it for information. What they had on the healing crystals and their properties was more then enough as she brought up a starmap showing the galaxy... then imposed over it the scout ships information and where they had gone.

Matsu stepped into the center of the hologram and was looking at the worlds as she spoke. "This one was linked to several others and it looks like they got as far from the Imperium as." She was tapping her chin letting the map reorient itself. "If this is Gallos here then this would be Ilum, this would be here Glitheoneal, here is Tython and here." Matsu had been tracing their deposits of crystals had been found and information. Her eyes flicking across it and she tapped where it was blinking. "Then that would be the cluster, not a fun place to go... not easy and..." Matsu pulled it out to show. "Not in our galaxy."

She said it with a smile on her face and starring at the other worlds there was a great deal going on while she rubbed her hands together. They had some locations to go and look and some things they could try out. Getting outside the galaxy was tricky and there were only a few places one could make it through the anomaly. The jedi was downloading the information and the datapad chirped flashing that it had the maps loaded while she spoke. "There might be more here, we never were able to get to the bridge controls and check the rest of their logs." She could feel it in the metal with the force aiding her, the fighting between the worms was outside.

As well they still had to find the source of the infection. That was here as well but they would have to search for it and thankfully they knew how to resist and heal diseases. "We'll continue searching for the source of the infection, once we can handle that we can try and heal the rest." She moved looking around and touching the metal while they went throughout the ship taking it all in. She turned back to see Maya and Riranna and angled the lights so it was looking down the hallways and sections. "Alright, do you want to split up and try to find it or stay together. If we split we can search faster."

"Ilum has had a long history of crystals, the cave systems are quite extensive. I have been there the cold was more bitter than Hoth." Rianna could feel the agitation and fighting outside the force shook with power at each blow landed, as each cry from either of the worms.

She looked down the lighted hall and thought, "I do not mind looking on my own, often with the quiet I am able to focus in a direction that normally draws me away." Rianna was not sure there was something she wanted to try, she thought of using her psychometry to get impressions. But it was dangerous it could incapacitate her if the emotions, or images were to strong. She looked back to [member="Matsu Ike"] and [member="Maya Whitelight"].

All of them present were able to heal, a plus for them. But then it would depend upon the damage. Hopefully there would be no damage, only answered questions. She waited to hear Maya's response.

Feeling that maybe if she had her friendship more development in animal. "I have a feeling that this ship hold more then what we are seeking." as she let those around her go their own way. Knowing some what could be in store for them. If this was ground zero just maybe there would be something left some where on the ship. Finding her way towards what Could be a strong feeling towards the front of the ship. Finding her own pace to be slow. After which that some of the doors not working needing to be force open.

Coming to a door that was strange to be painted with a red moon. This seem very strange to the fact that when she went to move the door it didn't slide either way. After a few more try she was sending a message through the force. I have found somethiing might be interested in ladies.

Matsu looked at Rianna and Maya go off to explore as she moved. Her hands through the gloves touching the wall while she moved not paying attention to them actively. She trusted two skilled healers to not get into toooo much trouble as they explored the ship. Matsu making her way through the old metal halls towards the rooms. Exploring them for signs of anything as her hands pried open a door sending up a large collection of grit, sand and dust. Matsu covered her mouth closing it while she worked to keep her eyes from getting irritated. Slowly she entered while the strange technology still looked preserved. Covered in layers upon layers of sand and dirt.. but preserved.

That was what she was doing, looking for anything of note that could be used to help them. The ship was gone, the virus spreading and the source here so it had to have crawled out of or been brought to the ship. The vongspawn infected were strange in the long run as Matsu took more notes of the old model paddle beamer for stunning prey of the Imperium. Something they could use to power the ship as they enteched them. It brought her interest only because one or two had used the technology in different ways to incapacitate trouble makers. Then there was something on her comlink and Matsu looked up listening.

She heard Maya who had found something or wanted to show them... which could be good or it could be bad as she was moving towards the location of the zeltron and pushing the force through her body to protect herself from infection. Making a small bubble of air around her that could resist airborne viruses and dangers. It also pushed the dust and sand around her away making a nice way to semi clean an area for walking. Her hands were moving about now taking a saber just in case it was something else besides the source of the infection or something like an entechment rig... She would rather be paranoid and prepared then caught off guard.

Rianna stood before a single entry way the door looked no different than anything else she had ever seen, a tilt of her head one way and the tilt to another side she could see nothing that made her think there was a danger. She took a single breath protecting herself from the possibility of infection. It would not do to die now from something that had already hurt so many.

Rianna brought her hand up keeping it just above the metal of the door she slowly moved her hand looking for a sensation in the force that would alert her to a change, a feeling she then felt Maya What have you found Rianna wanted to know what Maya thought she had. Her explanation would give Rianna the nudge to whether she needed to go and see this whatever, or should she continue her inspection.

It was odd there was no remnant of anything on the door, nothing living, not even a dust mite. Odd. there should be something....even miniscule.

Giving a wave of her hand to brush off some of the that very fine sand dust. Giving a way that she had taken her own deep breath but doing something else along with it with what could be a second armor of protection that fit something like that of a body glove but done with the force. Finding herself turning to read or at less make out the lettering waiting for [member="Matsu Ike"] come to take a look. Hoping that this was what they was looking for after all it had the right markings. Even if she couldn't make out all the words.

Finding herself wanting to push forward but stopping something was right it just felt odd behind the heavy plated steel door that she now could see that it had been some how glue shut. This was another puzzlement, After which time she got back on the commlink. "I'll tell you one thing someone on this side of the door didn't want anyone getting in or out of this part of the ship.

Matsu moved looking around and at Rianna for a moment, the kiffar with her psychometry could be dangerous... we;; this ship more so to her. It was powered by entechment gear... powered by the souls of the living being ripped from them and many many memories that could follow. She didn't want to endanger her with the memories and emotions here as she moved looking at the door Maya was looking at while she moved towards it. "What is inside." She was wondering now and curious, she had been here before and never gotten this far down past everything. Slowly Matsu slipped inside letting her small body work to her advantage.

"It is pretty dark." The utility belt opened and she drew a glow rod brightening the room up while walking further into it and looking around. The light flickering with her eyes while she focused on it all bringing her attention towards the far wall where there were rigs setup. The straps for the entechment equipment untouched for eons since before the formation of the Republic. Matsu didn't touch it but she looked around getting a second glow rod out to brighten up the area and she tossed it before speaking. "It is an entechment room, we must be near the generators of the ship." The scent of old rot was in there and this deep under the sand she could feel the worms.

Matsu was moving slowly now looking at what was in front of the door Maya was pushing as she finally rounded the room. "There is a body, do not touch it." The boney growths on its skin told her what it was and she was guessing he had come here to seal away what there was but if the pile of sand at the one end was any indication as it poured in there was a breach into the sand and she was guessing baby worms had been here. They got infected and infected or grew into the big one... Best guess that had Matsu covering her mouth with a cloth and walking around now more careful until she saw and could hear it.

The creature was infected, no it was the source and that meant it had been given the full virus, had been grown with the boney protrusions but still alive to spread it while the thing was kind of flopping around. She spoke waiting for the others in the dark as she looked on. "Oh pitiful shadow lost in the darkness, bringing torment and pain to others. Oh damned soul, wallowing in your sin... Perhaps... it is time to die." She crouched down and didn't touch it while holding a hand out of the way of the boney spikes that spread the infection same as the spores. She didn't know what the others might do but she had never seen one of the carriers cured only the infected afterwards.

Matsu can you get a sample without touching it with your bare hands? And if this one has no spores, if we can get enough samples perhaps we can find a way to make sure no one ever steps foot into this ship again

Rianna looked at the wall in front of her there were symbols she didn't recognize, nothing that seemed like a biohazard mark, she looked closer they were primitive or looked to be so, why would a ship like this have images like that on its walls. unless. She looked around, unless others had come in and wanted to warn anyone else that might enter the ship not knowing what would happen.

Matsu was thinking about it, a safe way to get a sample would be to use a blade and hack some parts of it away but that wasn't the best way... safe didn't always mean secure or good. She was moving back a little while keeping her eyes on the creature. THe air around her becoming purified with the force while she settled down taking a seat. "There might be a way." Matsu knelt down while she was focusing and breathing in deeply, the scent of clean air over the stale and dangerous tomb while she focused the bubble to keep everything out letting it glisten with a small sheen of grit, sand and in some places spores. Her hand came out while she was working with the creature to move it, then to grab at some of the spike while pulling one away with a scream of pain. She brought the other hand up to soothe while speaking. "It is okay, we are going to try and help you if we can." Matsu pulled at it and there was a snap while she movtioned with her hand for Rianna and brought it off to the side.

Rianna was certain that these markings had to be warnings, but without knowing exactly what they meant it could have meant certain infection for anyone. Rianna would try to memorize these symbols to be able to look for them again. She could feel Matsu having some questions.

Rianna paused as she heard the scream of agony ripple through the force, and echo throughout the ship. she closed her eyes using the force as a shield to keep the pain of the other from overwhelming her. Slowly Rianna began making her way to where Matsu would be located

Matsu are you ok? I am coming towards your position perhaps some soothing would help, it was hard to know some were not as easily influenced to accept the soothing elements of the force.

Matsu looked over, her eyes watching it. The protection bubble over the vongspawn patient. She was containing it within the bubble, pushing the force through her body while her eyes focused. She could hear and feel Rianna while she was waiting there and let out a long line of air from her mouth. The scents and sounds in the air coming to her but she wasn't focused on them, the force energies workign to push the less needed skills in this case aside so she could focus, deep dig and Matsu spoke. "I am working to contain them so you can focus with art of the small and healing. We can try and cure it but it will take energy and focus," Her hands were steady while Matsu dug into that part of her that had gone around and trained with other groups to learn how to increase her own stamina in the force.

Rianna tried to focus on Matsu as she moved back through the ship Be careful Matsu, if you should become infected Rianna would not entertain what could happen should Matsu become, no that thought was too awful.

Rianna turned several corners before she finally found herself nearing Matsu, she moved slowly though not sure how anyone would react. I am here She moved so she could see Matsu's face she could feel her working hard within the force as her presence within it began to glow brighter as the force rippled through here.

Was a cure for this creature feasible, Rianna just was not sure.

Matsu was there and she could feel Rianna coming. The jedi healer arriving as she continued to dig deep and push her body, to make the virus around her dissipate. "It will be okay, work on the body of the creature and I shall work on containment." She was pushing herself but not as much. A protection bubble could work stronger with focus but she was looking deeper. Curing the thing was impossible if not really hard but she spoke. Good, look deep and see if you can cure it but I do not think it is possible. The creature was made to produce the virus.... mercy might be something that is right in this situation. Matsu kept herself breathing slowly and steadily, then she was moving the bubble and shield while she started looking at the poor creature. She couldn't think of a way to save it but wasn't against finding a way to preserve life.

[member="Matsu Ike"]

Rianna kneeled down but she did not get close the creature suffered but there was a bit of its former life there, she sensed duality. Two in one. Even as its body was ravaged it fought to try and keep who it was. A will so strong too bad it did not take just will power to fight a disease.

Rianna could see through the force all the damage already done, though what was changed did not have a force life. The silver tendrils that she recognized as the force did not snake through the areas that had been infected. This too was a bad sign anyone with it was severed it seemed.

It was not her nature to kill without reason, this endless suffering was a reason but life was still present the other was still there.

You are losing a battle that will end the life as you knew it, I can end this for you and ease your suffering. She watched and listened for an answer.

Kill me and end my suffering, Pleaseeeeeeee

Rianna nodded it was a difficult task to kill, it would take part of her soul when she did it even though it was done for betterment, what they could learn from the samples would save millions.

Rianna pulled her lightsaber free, in her hand it came to life, I am sorry for this. And then she pierced the heart to kill it, a long drawn breath of air hissing away till there was no more, till it was silent.

"Matsu, are you ok?" She looked to see if she needed help.

Matsu remained quiet and careful, her breath not faltering while she pushed the force and slowly let her energy seep into the ground. She rooted herself into it and felt the shifting sands below her while pulling like a root at the planet itself. Pulling the force energy and generating the world itself into a source of energy she could use to empower herself, letting her breathign become steady and the pounding of blood in her ears slowly go away. She pushed the force to protect Rianna as the woman was examining the vongspawn for the time and then she heard it the muted snap hiss of a lightsaber as she did what she had to do. The jedi pausing and letting the energy go away as she slowly lowered the barrier and listened to Rianna speaking while she wiped at the sweat on hr brow. "I am alright, we have done this here and should be able to help the others now that you have really seen the virus up close. It is not ever easy and it won't. We have a goal for this world and a destination to head to next, take your time and we'll clean up here."

[member="Matsu Ike"]

Rianna felt the passing of the person before them. It may have well pierced her own heart as the pain blossomed from her core to the very finger tips of her person. She absorbed it more pushing away those last reminders.

She could hear Matsu speaking she nodded as if on automatic, "Yes we must look even closer at this, and then do what we set out to do on this journey" A journey that Rianna understood now would take a great deal more of her empathy than she had thought. How many countless lives would it take to find the answers needed? This was not an uncommon question for her, she had just hoped there would come a time when disease would be gone from the galaxy.

A foolish dream for certain, disease mutated and changed and was ever vigilant for new victims.

Matsu looked at the healer and bowed her head in understanding. She wasn't one who spared second thoughts about those lost, it would drive her mad if she did. So much pain and loss in the galaxy that the jedi failed to protect the people from. She stood there looking at Rianna and spoke while she clasped her hands in front of herself. "It can be painful I know but." She stopped, letting instincts take over while she motioned with her hands to guide and put one hand on the healers shoulder. "We should head back and try to heal the others, with the source of the infection dead more cannot keep getting infected and it will be easier to help the others."

Matsu was moving and if Rianna was with her would be helpful but going back through the ship she was letting her energies flare out to search. The computers had given them information and a location as she was reviewing it, that would be enough to continue forward as she did have a grin on her face. Not of the situation but she had finally gotten to come in here something she had been wanting to do for years.... Funny how some things worked out as she stopped quickly at the computers they had activated and grabbed a datapad the droids could look at. She had recorded and followed it for herself as her smile went away with the crack of sun.

Matsu was looking at the shifting sands and could feel the drop of the temperature dropping as the sun was passing and preparing for nightfall. There were always dangerous things in the colder nights beyond a chance they might freeze to death. She was doubting that but they did need to do something about that. She looked at the large sandworm that was infected and fighting the other who had brought them there. The roars of the creatures while they fought kicking up sand nearly a mile into the air as Matsu was holding her hand up. A barrier of force energy used to shield them while she was moving along the length of the ship.

She was looking upon the worms fighting more as she slammed her hand down onto the ship and jumped down. Going to the sand with a roll as she went down onto her knees. Digging her hands into the sand and focusing, she felt the force while looking towards the infected creatures. Matsu let her energy form into the sand as she levitated and shaped it into large figures of her hands to grab the worms. She was letting her energy focus on the smallest details of the creatures to find the virus, she had seen Rianna do it and learning how best to focus her energies to heal the creature or at least humanely put it down to ease ts suffering.

Rianna could feel many things through the force when she opened herself up to it had followed Matsu out and now stood watching her and her technique. One was never too old to learn.

She followed Matsu out the door but stood away from her she could feel vibrations through the force, through the creatures all around them but there were voids in the force too, voids that were nothing and yet Rianna could not help but feel that there was something, someone there. Vong could not be detected through the force only while the creatures remained partly themselves.

The night was coming and to be out in the open was not a wise move. Even with the force they were open to attack, and infection. whatever they were going to do, they would have to do it soon.

Matsu let her energies flow throughout her body while she reached out more and reached out to Rianna. To touch her mind and they could do this, they could meld and share power to instead of trying to do the same thing apart. They could focus and do it together. She could show her how to follow and sense through the vibrations in the sand that was near solid and holding them in place. She was pushing the force to reach into the force and try to cure them while hopefully giving Rianna the chance to art of the small and try to save the infected instead of the carrier. She didn't want to gall and fail in this task again.

It wasn't as if Maya had left the group or to put her own self into danger no far from it. It was what she pick up on that it seem that there was a kind of ripple in the force itself. It only faint as if someone had came back to this place at different times. It just felt different then as if someone was physical there.

That causing her to go deeper in the wreckage to a place that it seem it hadn't been touch by any one as if there was more layers of sand and dust then the rest of the ship. As if something else was present then go. It was that strange rush that whisper something to her. In that time she had went to find out why this place had such a hold on her in the force.

Finding now what could only be a part of the ship that seem to be deeply embed into the sand, it was only then that she could feel something growing stronger then weaker in the force. Only to cause her to come back to the same hot spot if one wanted to call it in the force. Also to call out to the others along for the trip that she found something odd about this part of the ship.

It wasn't like she wanted to go on by herself , but as if something pushed her on. It by a brush up against a panel that was half off its place that she saw something interesting. It had a soft purple glow to it, nothing told her not to go and touch but something told her to wait for the others to come.

That when she snap out and felt the other present a way from the ship, just that puzzlement told her to go and seek out if they would need her help in what every aid it was they was up to, feeling that there was something being waved in and out of each other.

Coming seeking as she did slowly finding a body then then. Speaking first to Ike, "Ike I'm here, where...what..happen." just how long she been off by herself or even deep with in the place she found with that odd soft glow.
