The search for Healing Crystals of Fire (Silver Jedi)

Rianna looked over at [member="Maya Whitelight"] the outlines of the sith markings against her skin show the intricate patterns of each one a highly skilled artist had taken the time to place these on her. This was not something done in a day but over time. She commited them to memory paying no mind to how Maya looked Rianna had seen other forms undressed this was nothing different to her. She thought on the runes a bit knowing that runes were used for many things, even binding the powers of someone. It would take time to research and understand such markings. Understanding why Maya's family had set them upon here now that would take longer.

Rianna looked at [member="Matsu Ike"], Rianna could not help but feel she wanted something from her but she was not certain what it was. Rianna could begin to feel the pull of the force in another direction, her head slowly turned to look forward, look toward a pinpoint in the sky. Something pulled her. Rianna reached out with her senses trying to find what it was that lay ahead there, but nothing so far had came through the force to guide her footsteps.

"How far away are we?" She asked as her gaze stayed toward the darkness of space.

There it was as if she had drop the weight she been carrying around all this time. It seem that her shoulder could now be able to hold more then it had been. After which time it seem something was going on with [member="Rianna Ordo"] as she would just what her after all she had more experience and training. This she respect would follow her instructions. As she gentle put her own gentle hand upon the shoulder of Master Ordo. "What is it we need to do?", as this wasn't just was for her but also for [member="Master"] Ike. Could help but feel something also it was the crystal it self maybe but it seem the closer we got to what every we was to be looking.


After all she could see that there would be something happen after which we get to the planet that it seem that one way or another that this was going to move forward. "I want to think you, to this I can see great things happening with this circle of healers.", was she bound to stay true to this path only time would tell. For now it was something that was for her to think and meditate on.

Matsu looked at the two as she arrived and motioned. "Best get changed your going to want clothing that breathes and will protect." Her usual kimono had been replaced with a bodysuit made for weather, cool when hot and hot when cold. Then she slid some of the equipment on it getting a belt, duster and hat. All and all the black clothing might not hide her but they were going to a world where one of the primary exports was spice and large dinosaurs roamed. Matsu got a hook on the end of a handle with long arm that looked like something for hay bales. "One of the fastest ways where we need to go and safestish... not really is to ride a sandworm. We won't hurt its scales and can control it mostly, just I don't like the idea of walking across a desert where there are more things that can eat me then usual."

Rianna nodded, breathable and protects. Rianna put on a lightweight weave armor skin beneath her clothing, it would protect her to a degree but she was not prepared for anything that would require heavy armor. She would not wear the robes of a Jedi, too cumbersom at times, she would wear lightweight black pants, and a lightweight black shirt securing her lightsaber.

"All healers will benefit from whatever we find here" whether it was just information, or whether it was something more. This journey was not one to leave them without knowing how much more they needed to search or learn. It was valuable to all healers to have a source, or at least have among them healing crystals the benefit of having them would affect anyone within the order.

"riding a worm, sounds like fun. Lead the way" Rianna smiled. Adventure, she loved a good adventure.

The words spoken [member="Rianna Ordo"] was very true they might not find anything but a wild goose chase but still it would mean something more then every now. Smiling as she looked at Master Ordo come back from what every it was went to change. After which time she find herself suiting up herself she had grown up in this kind of environment.

Matsu looked at the two and gave a nod as she walked out of the ship and the very dry world bit at her. Sand course and terrible everywhere and grit from the wind blowing into her mouth as she wanted to spit. The spit in her mouth tasting just of dirt before her mouth went a little dry. She looked at the sands before walking and moving towards the canyons towards the city while going over what there was truely in the world. There was a jedi temple on the planet, there was also a society here built on a very strict system to control their limited supplies and dangerous environment. The Seako raised under conditions that few others were as the roars of their pets the large lizards drifted on the wind.

Matsu was enjoying it all though taking in the sights until she saw a shadow of one of the things and looked at it. The gleam of purple hair bringing her attentions around to the soldiers holding rifles on them. "Who goes there?" Matsu looked up and held her hands up to show no weapons while displaying her saber on her belt normally hidden away. The hilt gleaming as the recognition on the woman's face showed. "We are jedi, here to investigate. We mean no harm and bring healers." Not a lie, but she wasn't too sure what they were actually going to find here she just had theories. She just had her own ideas and Rianna with Maya were as she brought them here in her charge.

"We could use your help master jedi, the city is sick." Well that wasn't somethign she expected to hear, so much for just riding sandworms and coming out on top with some fun adventures. Well they would still do that but having the healers get a work out had Matsu holding the pendant as she put her arms downa nd gave a nod. "We can help but we'll have to see them first." Yes get in see what is happened, allow the healers to wirk and then get to the ship in the middle of a desert as in the hopes that it has the information they need from the time before the Republic was formed leading to an ancient crystal of immense healing properties. Matsu only had one thought in her head to that idea and notion.

Simple.... as she moved ad spun aroound rising up to meet them. Motioning for the others to follow and brushing her hair away from her face.

The winds were harsh and bitter greeting them as they embarked onto this new adventure. The sounds of the lonely winds reached across the lands welcoming them. Rianna had experience with sand she had spent time in hiding on Tatooine and sand storms were the highlight of the day. There were sounds of animals before them Rianna tried to sense them out to find out where they were exactly and was there need for concern.

They were not alone it suddenly became evident that there were guards, Rianna did not sense any deceptions, only a fierce need to protect. Protect their temple Rianna reasoned to herself. Would a small enclave need this kind of security? Rianna could hear words but some of them were lost on the wind, finally only one came to her, sick. Immediately her healers sense prickled was something wrong.

Rianna had come up beside Matsu, and could finall hear everything, "Yes take us to the first one who became ill". Rianna liked starting at patient zero. They walked in still guarded, they were unsure. But they were being taken to their sick.

Finding the harshness something she would have to fight through on her pinkish Zeltron skin of hers. Letting herself call out to the very core of the planet itself. After which she had this feeling as if there wasn't something right. Seeing what would only be a ripple in the very nature of the planet. Coming to pass was something else with in her a waken of something long ago forgotten. To have this own calling out into the force stop before she went in deeper. Even with the howling of the winds with in their wake.

Stopping herself after that time she spent to stop by one of the locals. Now it was her empathy that would come to call out to to this sickness. Knowing that she was by the learner on this trip. It would be wise to watch and learn all she could from these Masters. After which time she let hem be taken to the ones with the sickness. Matsu looked at the two and gave a nod as she hopped on the back of the dino mounts and it lept down into the canyon. The riders were there for the two to get on and Matsu motioned grabbing on of the rags and putting it over her muth while the rider took off. She spoke though. "Be careful, this world is known for one thing. Spice and inhaling too much of it could give complications." Her head turned down to look as the riders rushed through the canyon, the equipment she had bouncing as several minutes later the riders stopped at the remains of a temples carved into the canyon walls. It was one of the ancient jedi temples created before the Republic and still standing as in the distance the city bustled.

Matsu took in the site of several dozen moving around with masks to not inhale and their red cloaks identifying them as the higher class. Their riders came along while inside the temple were oone of the first quarentine zones, Matsu could hear the sounds while she gave a nod of her head. This was one ofthe places to look but the riders hadn't brought them here they were still moving towards the city. The people looking up as she passed on the beast and she could see it now. Forming on some of them as her hand came out to touch the bony protrusions. They were solid and growing from the skin where the flesh had ruptured but these ones weren't sick fully.

"Vongspawn." She knew vong tech and it was dangerous but this was different, it was a product of the one sith, a product of those who had taken Coruscant and were endangering the galaxy. If the one sith had recreted it or found one fo the infected bodies, if they were using it to soften up worlds. They were more clever then she thought, Matsu came off the beast and walked, letting the pendant glow in her hands as she focused and breathed in and out. Letting the force energies dance over her while she thought about what she had and was able to do before turning her head. "What do you two know about the vongspawn virus?"

She would let them think but Matsu was already formulating a plan in her head mostly because the cure for it was big... Not some super obscure herb it was using the force to a degree even she didn't like trying. Purifying the cells and not letting the bony obtrusions get further into the bones and grow towards the heart where the danger came. The bones slowly piercing the heart and lungs to kill. She only knew with art of the small was it possible and her skill with it wasn't the greatest. Listening for their thoughts though had Matsu moving a child off to the side and she sat down. "It will be okay, we know what this is and know how it can be cured."

Her head went to the riders and she spoke. "Tell your leaders we need to know where the being was found? The source of the infection needs to be handled before we can say we have cured it." The women went off, the city seemed empty but she knew it was because this world had a low population, their men were less sturdy, They died more often and birth rates were low, all factoring into why it was prodominently female with males being protected. She thought for a moment that now they might be under lock and key to prevent infection. She looked to Rianna and offered for now at least the necklace with the shard in it.

"Your the strongest healer, it won't do much but in your hand sit should be able to help. We'll need to find the source and dispose of it... preferably in a way that doesn't leave it alive. I know killing isn't great but these people have been shaped into biots with the sole purpose of spreading infection where they are sent. Not even I have a good idea how to really undo shaping, alchemy maybe, sorcery sure, even some force powers and medical experiments but shapers are dangerous."

The rider offered Rianna a rag as well to cover her mouth,, she smiled and nodded warmly at him. His brilliant blue eyes stood out against his darkened weather worn skin. The clothing he wore had seen better days but it protected him and that was what mattered most. A quick hand up and they were off following Matsu. Rianna held tight looking down, she couldn't help but feel for a moment a twist in her stomach. It was odd to be going practically straight down.

It passed quickly and soon they were crawling along the floor Rianna looked up, going up would be quite interesting. She looked around taking in the people looking for signs of an illness that yet to her had no name. "An infection developed by a sith, extremely painful, and many believe the Jedi created it" There were those in the galaxy that believed the propaganda that had been spread, it was easier than the truth for them.

Rianna looked at Matsu as she offered the necklace, "The three of us together forming a circle would best focus the force, and what you are thinking will take time" Healing was exhausting when used for hours, and depending on how many were infected this was turning into a mission. Rianna understood what Matsu meant, that some would be too far gone. No she did not like to kill, it went against everything she believed in. How do you look into the eyes of the dieing and explain beyond hope.

This was why they searched for healing crystals, to be able to focus healing energies to feel the healing power of the crystals. "Everyone will have to evaluated" She smiled, or tried to at those around them. She could see the worry in their eyes, and they wondered could the strangers help.

Taking the rag given to her she putt it on her own mouth. Wondering just what they would be getting into. As it was she hadn't ran into any Vong. Heard the whispers of what these race could do to a planet in what some would say a wink of the eye. Looking at the amazing beast that she now on its back. Came a whisper in the wind or was it something deeper. "I might have something that will help with us to keep energy up a little longer.", reaching down to pat her leather back. It was the tough leather of a AKK hide.

After all when they begin she would need to center herself to what every was going to be. All and all their had to be something else that had to be able to fight that was what every they was up against. It wasn't what thought it would be be like in battle knew what was up against and the wounds. Also something more then what was unknown they was walking into. Matsu looked at Rianna and Maya and gave a nod of her head to that. They could work on the ones one at a time but finding the source of the infection was important, something that could keep spreading it and getting them sick. Her body shaking for a time as she shook off her thoughts and contemplated it all. "That can work, healing them as much as we can one at a time though can be dangerous and draining.We don't know how far the infection has spread and we can't risk the males getting infected." She paused for a moment letting the sights around them. "Their population is low and male birth rates are worse compared to many." She thought about what they could do, the Seako were very traditional and strict when it came to their classes and males were before killed if they had enough.

She was looking upon it all and then took a breath deeply letting the force magnify her senses. She could taste almost the desperation in the air, this was a strong way to do things by the sith. They could poison the area, harm the people and then come with the cure. Her the saviors of the planet and in their desperation the people would most likely accept it, let something be set up and troops moved in. They were in the deep core hidden away from several worlds and the jedi barely noticed this world. The spice from here used and shipped for excessive amounts of credits to the outer rim and supplied to the hutts. So she was thinking of a way they needed to work for the jedi or at least not the sith to come out on top. "It is always a dejarek game."

She said it more to herself while walking towards the large building where the upper caste of females oversaw the government and motioned for the other two to follow, letting her outfit flap open a little as the wind gusted sending some dirt towards her face. The large doors opened and the purple haired guards let them in towards the large golden table with holoprojectors around it. Their leaders were talking around the table and the projectors were displaying scout reports from across the planet. This was the heart of their council and it looked panicked.

"What do you mean there is another outbreak in the school?" The eldest woman was standing there and making a face while she continued to flip through screen and she looked up. "Ah master jedi's thank you for coming. I was afraid our distress call to Coruscant had gone ignored. We haven't heard from the people for so long." Matsu looked at her and thought about how to say it, more what to say now while she looked to her. "That is elder because Coruscant has fallen and now we know how the sith might have found you, found this world. They took the capital and destroyed the temple." The woman looked grim as she spoke wiping at her forehead. "I see, I should explain then. Two weeks ago two of our scouts wandered in from the desert."

The woman showed the first images they had and accounts. "They had found something crashed in the desert a ship of unknown configuration and origin. Being this far in the deep core we get few people aside from accident. As they returned though we noticed growths on their bodies and then the infection was spreading. We have the location they had went to but she couldn't risk more people or worse it getting to the men, they are just getting ready to be bred." She pointed to the desert and showed other images. "One of the worms was infected as well, but its organs aren't getting all bony like the rest and killing it. Its it around the crashed ship near the old site."

Matsu was looking at the screen and wondering what the others thought for a time while she spoke going to the small area of the table. "Alright we can do this, combating or curing a large worm is something we are used to after all." Yeah keep telling yourself that.... you might actually believe it later on one never knew. It was just like doing what you do and smiling to people, o it enough times and force yourself it might even seemed like you believe your happy. "So who is up for a quest of dangerous and large proportions that can most likely endanger us but will take us near where we want to go?" Matsu raised her hand.

Rianna studied the images on the screen, the protruding bones. This had all the ear marks of the changes gone through by vong converts. She had seen it before a long time ago in a small village they had been too late they were all dead unable to handle the changes. That could mean there was no hope. Damn she thought there is no such thing as no hope there always has to be hope of some kind. But the images were as terrible as what was going on right now.

They needed to see the ship, and help the people, and heal the worm, and....just add in a few miracles along the way and they might have it.

The expected look in the eyes, they were looking for them to say it but how could she, she held her tongue for a moment, "We will do our best in all of this" But we have no guarantee.

Rianna looked from Maya to Matsu, then raised her hand. "I've been spending too much time in the lab anyhow"

Listing to all that was being spoke. To only get a shiver as she was there when Coruscant fell. Thinking back to that day all the sound coming back to her along with the blood shed. Snapping out of it all the way. Yes we will do what we can, but first as Master [member="Matsu Ike"] as stated we need to go to the source of this first.

Letting her own empathy flowing from her as this was what she could do for the time. As what they didn't need know was to have all these around them to be so emotion so she would let the pheromones flow from her. As it was such a different way of using it but one she had used it before. Even then there was that calmness about her. As it came to pass she could feel that there was a bit more calm then when they had first came.

Master [member="Rianna Ordo"] I have no experince with dealing with these Vong way of spreading there ways to other. I do have a way with plants and nature I do hope this will help out.

Matsu listened to Maya and Rianna as she could smell it in the air and she was frowning more coming to Maya as she walked. "Maya no, pheromones are not what we need." Even as she spoke standing there she felt less relaxed and more amorous when it came to things. Her body flushing with heat while the pale skin hid the red in her cheeks. Pheromones from a zeltron were a powerful thing and could lead to some situations others were not expecting. Her hands running to her sides nervously while turning to Rianna. Who had given a plan and laid it all out while Matsu was moving. "Yes lets go and find the source."

Matsu was moving now, mostly to escape the pheromones and stop feeling that rising of heat. She was going out of the complex quickly and clearing a small path while she took in larger gulps of the air outside while she moved to get on one of the mounts. The dinosaurs built and strong from the ancient imperium now domesticated and feral. Her hands grasping the saddle and Matsu cllimbed up speaking into the comlink while she brought it up to her mouth. "Harlequin I want you to send some equipment for the desert and we'll be coming back soon."

There was a chirp of acknowledgement for her while Matsu waited for them to come and get on their rides. A small smile coming upon her face while she headed out making sure her mask and hat were good to cover and shield her. The jedi wanted to ensure everything went well and pulled up a map of the dunes from her ship and the Saeko's displays to compare. She was looking for the safest not exactly the fastest route there while focusing on the force to keep her body fighting off sickness and infections. If you got to it early enough you could fight it but she knew it would take work.

Matsu was moving then going to the gates and they opened as she bowed her head and moved towards the large desert in the distance getting the hooks for them to use on the sandworms. It wouldn't hurt them but oh there were so many good things they could do while her body was moving and she felt the vibrations of the creatures. The ridge she saw them get to and stood for a moment over looked it all the near endless dune sea and she started heading down towards it while one fo the crew members showed holding an equipment pack.

"Master jedi, one and this was confusing saber resistant pack but it doesn't really resist sabers." Matsu had to give a nod of her head to that and took it strapping it over her back with some extra gear in it, some medical supplies and as she opened it her sabers just in case. She nodded her head and stepped off the large beast while crouching down and preparing to move. Hands reaching out and grabbing a rock with the force until she had a large enough one in the right position.... Then slowly Matsu lifted it and slammed it down onto the desert sands with a crack.

The vibrations going through the earth while she felt with her hand and listened training her eyes upon the dunes for the shifting of sands. Matsu jumped down as she kicked her foot into the sands and waited for it, feeling the approaching tremor. Her body went stiff and stillness came as the surface of the sand broke and there was a glint of scales with a screech. Matsu moved to the side and brought the hook up as she brought it up to catch a scale and the small crevice of the creature. She pulled herself up and caught a second hook in that would anchor her in place.

Matsu brought the first up and secured it as the large beast shook for a moment and she was looking upon the mountains and others. "Come on and remember to use your hooks." Matsu waited for them and brought the worm around to circle keeping its body now above the sands and surface. She was exerting less force control and more just on the sections of thick hide that would let her direct and move the creature. She looked towards Rianna and Maya with a small smile on her face enjoying the sight of it all. They woudl be able to get on easily enough and hold position as Matsu looked towards the horizon.

Feeling she had not done the right thing of wanting to calm everyone down to make them more relax only seem to work the opposite. As she gather what was left of her pheromones before moving to her own beast that would carry them into the dessert. It seem they was going to seek out the source of the matter. I"m only one trying to help there others ways to use what I have with in me to calm everyone worries in with my mind jsut not the smell.

Even so she couldn't help but have a way to get herself ready for the long journeyer all she need to do was follow and watch then there was always the learning that she seeked out.

Rianna looked over at Maya sensing some dissatisfaction, "Maya, don't fret everyone has their purpose to be where they are at the moment they are there it is merely waiting to see that purpose revealed through the force" Rianna smiled. Her age may be showing now, was she always so patient?

Rianna was quite fascinated by what Matsu was doing sensing the vibrations of what lay beneath the sand. Rianna tried to listen to hear the shifting of ground as it moved through the tiny specks unsure of what exactly the hook would do, she waited with it dangling from her hand one would have to attach it. Then just as she could feel it beneath their feet it broke through and with a very practiced hand Matsu quickly mounted.

Watching Rianna understood so that's how its done she thought. She turned and ran tossed the hook and began pulling herself up, catching her breath. Never before had she ever rode such a creature. Rianna tried looking ahead to see where their journey was taking them. She hoped that it would take them to the source.

Matsu looked at Maya and Rianna join her on the back while she smirked and shifted to the sides just a little, her movement bringing the worms head t the side and it started moving through the desert. She wanted to comfort Maya in this, tell her that is wasn't to discourage her... Just pheromones, especially strong pheromones like those Zeltrons an Falleen produced. They were strong and for a few purposes, calming one was harder as that first initial and most obvious treatment was lust. Matsu didn't want her mind being addled with such thoughts. She also didn't want Maya on a planet full of mostly women giving off her best vibes.

But she wouldn't say that while scanning the horizon and speaking over the sound of the worm going through the desert. "With this we will be able to get into the dunes where the old Imperium ship is, once I was part of a research team looking into it. Now I don't know if the jedi have done anything with the information or wreck but we shall see what comes." A small smile on her face as the time ticked away and eventually as the sun came up high in the sky it was there, the large ships with its blade like edges and weather stripped sheen. Matsu pointed with her chin while the sound of the infected sand worm came.

It popped out of the ground and made screeching sounds while it swayed, it had Matsu moving forward and at the ready when they hear and she brought the sand worm by the wreck grabbing the hands of the two woman and leaping so the large worms could fight it out. Invading ones territory was all the rage after all and she landed on the aged metal that creaked but stood firm. The engineering and design holding up in places while there was holes in others, she was looking at the length of it but there was more under the sands. The ship had broken in half and there was a large section under the sand.

"We should be careful, any of your senses you can use look for it and be careful. The Imperium runs their equipment off of people it can be draining if you are not careful."

This only gave her another smile to the enjoyment of ride such a wonderful creature couldn't help but reach out to the creature with her friendship. Only after a while to figure out how such one like this one thinks and behave. Couldn't help but feel the joy of this all. Bring to the front of her own mind just how these creature had the basic animal instinct that of beastly. Finding that their ride was all to short.

That was a joy wasn't it, ooohhhh now for the fight..

For a time she had been more onto the watching of the creature fight then anything else. Coming back to the task at hand feeling that both was some how stare at her for answer to [member="Matsu Ike"] question.

It was almost unexpected even though her senses told her something was going to happen it wasn't until the worm reared up that it was made clearer. As Matsu grabbed hers and Maya's hand to take them from danger the rush of air that took them to the decaying ship happened quickly.

Rianna looked around hearing what she said about the ship could drain their energy, that was fascinating. She had heard of this kind of technology but had never seen it. She needed to keep her curiosity in control for letting it go could be costly.

"How long has the ship been here again?" Rianna wondered if perhaps there was something else adding to the problems of the natives, and if they could help.
