HISTORICAL INFORMATION

For hundreds of years, the Noble House Malvern was revered as one of the Great Houses of Serenno. They were a prominent ruling House during the Clone Wars, Galactic Civil War, even surviving the hellish rot that the Gulag Plague cast over the galaxy. Keeping to their ancestral home of Blackgate Manor, the House was found to be home to a number of extraordinary individuals who were blessed with the power of the Force. Originally, seeking to use their powers for good, the members of the family committed themselves to the teachings of the Jedi faith. This continued on for years, their prominence as Jedi Peacekeepers on the world of Serenno caused the people to turn to them over some of the more historically reputable Houses, such as House Dooku.

The House was raised to new heights when the overwhelming militant state, known as The Dominion, favored the world and the Jedi who defended it. House Malvern urged Serenno into The Dominion's patronage, despite the arguments of some of the other nobles. In the end, the decision was made and the planet would enter into the faction, further empowering the House. However, this all came to an end when the family was targeted by rival Serennian Houses. A number of the Noble Houses arranged a dinner, inviting House Malvern in it's entirety to participate. The end result was a trap that annihilated over seventy percent of the family. Two branch lines of the House were completely eradicated, with only two of the children from the main line surviving. These children, Adron Malvern Adron Malvern & Faye Malvern Faye Malvern , separated in an attempt to better protect themselves. With Faye shipped off world, it left Adron, the heir apparent to the House, as the young Lord and head of the House.

The next decade was harsh. Not long after the family was targeted, the Sith set their eyes on Serenno, taking it from the clutches of The Dominion and instilling their own regime. House Malvern was forced into exile, where it would greatly fall into obscurity. Adron fled to the space of the Galactic Empire where he would call home for nearly ten years.

The House did not recover again until it found a home in the Confederacy of Independent Systems. During a Civil War in the Galactic Empire, Adron was able to find refuge in an enemy-turned-ally, Srina Talon Srina Talon . The Echani woman offered a home for the Exiled Count and a place to rebuild his shattered family. Within The Confederacy Adron Malvern reformed his House and it's business industries with credits he'd procured during the fall of the Galactic Empire. It is in the Confederacy that the man met the woman who would become House Malvern's first Matriarch, Alessandra Creed Alessandra Creed . Within The Confederacy, Adron Malvern rose to prominence, allowing his younger sister, Faye to find him once again, allowing the House to come whole once again.

House Malvern, after stumbling upon the world of
Illyria, have taken the world as the seat of their new power. They wish to bring about a new age of technological and cultural superiority in the Outer Rim, styling themselves as the Monarchy of Illyria.

The Monarchy enjoyed several years of prominence, ruling over the planet with a marked success. As the Matriarch of the family delved deeper into the dark arts of the Force he no longer saw a benefit from remaining with his current wife and terminated their marriage. With the title of Queen-Consort opened once again it granted the Sith Lord an ability to maneuver politically for the betterment of his planet. After pulling the planet of Illyria from The Confederacy, the matriarch realized he would need more allies in the galaxy. In an attempt to craft a stronger House and alliance for Illyria he agreed to marry one of the daughters of House Arenais of Mnemosyne, Saraya Arenais Saraya Arenais . The union was one expected to bring the House to greater heights with the union of two great Houses.
