STRENGTHS

• A BUZZSAW: The Revenant was designed to inflict a maximum amount of damage on enemy vessels in as short amount of time as possible. Outfitted with high output and exotic weaponry such as beamers and particle cannons it can chew through the defenses of starships by overwhelming shields and ripping through armor quickly. The closer it gets to enemy ships the more damage it is capable of inflicting and a powerful artemis targeting system ensures weapons are accurate. Weapon Turrets also offer a three hundred and sixty (360) degree arc of fire and the ships Tri Beamers have an effective hundred and eighty (18) degree arc of fire.
• REACTIVE ARMOR: Refined roxodium coating durasteel plating hides a shock absorbent gel underlay overtop secondary durasteel-421S plating. This equates to maximum kinetic absorption and ion resistant plating with residual sonic resistances. Even battlefield spanning heavy weaponry will find it difficult to penetrate this plating.
• OVERWHELMING SPEED: Uncommon for large starships the Revenant uses powerful sublight ion drives to boost its speed powered by the nigh limitless energy output from its Fusion Arc Reactor. It can close with enemy vessels quickly, overtaking those of similar size.

WEAKNESSES

• FORE FACING DESTRUCTION: Arguably the two most powerful weapons at its disposal the Fusion Beam Canon and Shield Leeching Weapon have strictly forward facing arcs of fire which narrows their effective use considerably.
• MID RANGE WEAPONRY: Aside from its Proton Beam Cannon and Fusion Accelerator Emplacements all of its weaponry is effectively mid range meaning most enemy vessels will be able to fire on it before it is in range of them. Its weapons are powerful but it needs to close distance to use most of them.
• LIMITED MANEUVERABILITY: Slightly more maneuverable than ships of a similar size the Revenant is still an immense ship and so it is not highly maneuverable. This is especially so when engaging at high speeds meaning the ship will need to power down and then perform a turn

DESCRIPTION
An amalgamation of stolen and sourced technology, the Revenant was a project completed by Rel Ahn-Dross to aid in Black Sun pirating and fleeting endeavors. Insofar as ships are concerned it is a smaller Star Destroyer which is still larger than the majority of vessels the Black Sun can field. It boasts exotic and powerful weaponry alongside advanced systems and defenses.

At its core a Fusion Arc Reactor powers most of the ships systems, essential in this case due to the high power draw of many of the weapons and also ensures that shields act at maximum capacity. The Arc Reactor also diverts sizeable amounts of energy to the sublight ion engines enabling the ship to reach high speeds. It also comes with a large cargo capacity.

The Black Sun, especially since turning inwards away from a large galactic scale cannot field many larger vessels making the Revenant unique in its class. Nonetheless it is capable of shredding smaller fleets of Corvettes and Frigates on its own.
