OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: Aladon. For the hardware, it was the aforementioned company along with various private entities.
  • Affiliation: Aladon.
  • Market Status: Open Market. Just say you paid a subscription fee to use it.
  • Model: The People's Net
  • Modularity: Any software can be modified.
  • Production: Mass Production
  • Material: Software; Bits; Hyperwave Transcievers, Akama. Bacteria. Encryption and Decryption Modules.
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Extremely high, virtually infinite computational process power, at least in a terms of potential.
  • Near-impregnable cryptographic schema
  • Galactic decentralized communication network
  • Secure connection
STRENGTHS
  • The amount of server architecture used, as well as the decentralized nature makes a combined systematic attack virtually impossible. Like the holonet, it is here to stay.
  • Various counter-measures for force-based hackers, and others.
  • Bio-version is immune to mechu-duru.
  • The amount of AIs, neural networks, and the hardware to back it up allows it to have undoubtedly one of the galaxy's best processing processors.
  • Redudant Comm Infastructure. If you take out our own S-threads and hyperwave transcivers, we can use the holonet. Our mesh-network also makes it virtually impossible to remove it at once.
  • Extremely difficult to track someone's IP address and original location due to the decentralized nature of the comm system. A weakness perhaps, but for privacy based individual, it is a strength. The only individuals who can access it are Aladon as their are the creators, although it is possible other individuals will know about this.
  • Immune to jamming due to decentralized nature.
WEAKNESSES
  • The cryptographic schema used to guard the source code makes updating the source code difficult.
  • It is dependent on the galaxy at large to work. Where the holonet requires a traditional approach, due to its decentralized nature, the computational power requires people to actually want to join in this effort. Henceforth, if people reject it at large, the People's Net isn't really for the people.
  • Depending on where you are, there can be an extremely fast, or a slow connection. This, along with the security additions makes it somewhat slow as well.
  • Even with all its gadgetry, it's still specialized. It's only purpose is for communication, nothing more, nothing less.
  • Still dependent at large on established galactic infrastructure. Even with a mesh network, if the holonet dies one day, the communication speed will be somewhat more difficult, if only slightly.
  • For such a huge network, with a bio version and its own centralized version, it is extremely difficult to maintain.
DESCRIPTION

The Holonet

"Before we begin by establishing what the Holonet is, it would do justice for us to establish how the Holonet works. Through this, we shall be able to see why it is truly the People's Net, and not just the Holonet.

The holonet is an intergalactic communication system in which a message, from its point of origin is transmitted through billions of transcievers toward a holonet relay. This is possible because the transceivers transfer the bytes of data via s-threads.

While the holonet has revolutionized galactic communication, what makes it extremely ineffective is its centralized nature. Throughout the galaxy, it is possible for governments to be able to monitor and maintain their transceivers, costing the galaxy as a whole trillions of credits. Additionally, for the individual concerned about his privacy, he is able to see how the holonet's centralized nature allows individuals to be able to
monitor its transmissions via major Holonet nodes, the data logs from hyperwave transicevers, and major holonet hubs. This is where the Peoeple's Net is extremely different.

Functionality of the People's Net
Originally designed by Krayzen Dratos Krayzen Dratos , it was supposed to be a subnet that still used hyperwave transceivers, the communication system designed to maintain the One Sith's sovereignty in the fith domain, while also allowing for a system for top officials to communicate. When Aladon discovered this plans, it grew into an opportunity to give the being concerned with his privacy, another avenue.

The first major distinction between the Holonet and the People's Net is its decentralized nature. To be able to manage such a high-data scale in galactic communications, for an individual who loves server architecture, the holonet is a marvel of design. For Aladon, it would be foolish to attempt to create a direct competitor. Henceforth, it proposes an alternative framework using the computational power of its users: whether it be datapads, or any computational machine, the company established its own protocol through which individuals can be able to join the galaxy in creating the People's Net. Alternatively, for the less-computer savvy individual, they are able to download an app from Aladon's Holonet Store, where in which they a section of their device's computational resources are used to contribute to this system.

But the individual might say, "You have done well creating this system. But it only works as a subnet. How do you maintain galactic-communications? To this individual, we say, "You have asked the right question". We able to still use the Holonet's galactic communications infrastructure, the only difference being that it will not be transferred via a holonet relay. However, more importantly, when we made this call to design the People's Net, various individuals volunteered throughout the galaxy. They volunteered their ship to act as mobile satellites so to speak: with transceivers being installed in order to create various communication nodes, and therefore, multiple communication channels. It also does us good to state Aladon has various satellites throughout the galaxy for this project, through the donation of various private manufacturers.

The company itself is not totally dependent on the goodwill on its individuals. On it's part, using cloud-server architecture, it has attempted to the best of its ability to be able to handle all this communications. Using its famous
qubit processor, its computational power unrivalled, it is able to handle such high-scale level of communications. It also employs an AI boosted by its own multicore redundant core qubit processor, creating its own Application-specific integrated circuit(ASCIS), a set of microprocessors for its own specialized tasks.

Additionally, we feature a system of federalized decentralized database systems. The only difference being where traditionally, they have been set throughout a geographic location to create a subnetwork, Aladon has chosen to use its own cloud servers to be able to maintain it. However for various subnetworks, geographic locations are maintained, although that is up to the user who chooses to maintain it. Although why someone would choose traditional servers to a cloud-server is beyond me.

Of course, we are also aware of the elements of cyberspace that seek to use the People's Net. Indeed, we must commend the creators of the Cryptnet 2.0, and the Cryptnet for being pioneers in their own respective fields for better privacy. Drawing inspiration from them, in addition to the protocol we established for combined computational processing power, we chose to create our own protocol where individuals can be able to establish their own online presence for their own purposes.

In contrast to the Cryptnet 2.0 Protocol, our own communication protocol uses a different crypto-scheme.Using a combination of honey and lattice cryptography, the messages sent using our protocol are encrypted via digital keys. Additionally, we feature our own federated community as well, as one would expect. Additionally, just like the Cryptnet, subnetworks are able to use a mesh network as a form of being able to maintain their own network system. However, as one would expect, with software it is easily modular, and other networking systems can be used, both conventional and unconventional.

Security Defenses
As always, we care about the code we produce. If anyone attempts to hack into our source code, they will find it extremely difficult. Firstly, as a galactic networking system, the amount of processing power required to reach the code itself is astronomical, meaning only a select few of the galaxy's minds can afford such a thing. That, combined with the potential of trillions of devices using the People's Net makes it extremely difficult. The fact that it is a decentralized communication in a subnetwork, and galactic scale also makes it difficult. However, if anyone is still willing to pass through this hurdles, they will find a variety of responses to combat such a system.

Firstly, our source code is encrypted via lattice cryptography and honey encryption. The code is virtually unbreakable due to the encryption that is used. This form of encryption is also used for the app, the protocol, and the code for the servers that are used. If someone is still able to decrypt it, they will find fake source code, and this consecutively until the source code appears. While it is commendable, it can make updating our servers more difficult, however our usage of various neural networks, AIs, and automation systems makes mitigates this tremendously.

As one would expect, we suspect individuals who are force sensitive hackers, especially mechu-based users. When they attempt to do so, the app will cause the device to shut down or have it uninstalled. Another function of course is our usage of quantum encryption, as explained above. Even with mechu-based powers, quantum cryptography is an excellent counter to force sensitives. Another counter measure includes a frequent change of the keys in order to be able to access it, as well as different encryption methods that happen extremely frequently.

To access the network, a very subscription fee is paid. This, along with funding from various private donors allows Aladon to be able to maintain it. The subscription fees have made us massively wealthy. Also, a bio version exists as well.

Functionality of Bio-Version
Taking inspiration from the Kiriban Systems' Union's Bio Module, Aladon chose to genetically create its own bacteria. Like the afro-mentioned bio-moduel, they are able to transmit via a telepathic transceiver. Taking inspiration from the Killiks, this bacteria are able to create their own hive-mind. In a sense, this is a biological equivalent to a mesh network. Through this, the communication bio modules allows it to be decentralized, just like its software based version. Additionally, bio modules equivalents are also within the mobile satellites that help host the People's Net.

When someone sends a communication through this bio-network, a decryption bio-module transcripts this to the bacteria, who then transmit it through the communicational nodes toward the end-user. During this time, the module is able to encrypt the communication, using whatever equivalent of quantum cryptography that can be used for bio-based communications. A faraday cage is used to protect the bacteria that are at work. Furthermore, our own nutrient pack is pack to maintain it. Like the Kiribian Bio Module, it features its own casing that protects it from disruptors and viruses. Aladon also made sure to add antibodies to protect the model from viruses.

In comparison to the People's Net's data architecture, it is safe to state that it undoubtedly carries with it one of the galaxy's most up-to-date, and advanced architecture, undoubtedly rivalling, if not exceeding the Holonet at this capacity. With bacteria being able to beat classical architecture designs, and even quantum types, in comparison to the People's Net, Aladon did not need to, along with its private investors, donate such huge sums of money to maintain something on a high-scale.

Additionally, like its other variant, it is able to update itself self-automonusly, in the same way Aladon's other technologies are able to self-automate themselves.

Security Defenses
As we have already stated, the bio module features encryption modules and decryption modules to safeguard our communication. However, chief among its defenses is its capability to be protected from mechu users of the light and dark. Additionally, like its other version, the bio-version's decentralized nature makes it virtually impregnatable against brute force attacks..

Indeed, as is typical of Aladon, the source code for Akama is protected via lattice-based cryptography and honey encryption. If a hacker is somehow able to access this, it can easily self-destruct, killing the bacteria but protecting the proprietary software that was made. Attempting to access a node is also difficult.

The company's software, like Mori protects the network. Various datasets were preprogrammed into the bacteria-based computer in order to allow it to protect itself against various defenders. One must concede it is therefore well protected. Just like an AI, it is preprogrammed to deal with various scenarios, including brute force attacks, etc.

Conclusion
We must commend our software and network personnel for creating such a marvelous display. Truly, I suspect we have created something that can rival the Holonet, and hopefully replace it."
