DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
+Quick processing capability
+Versatile
Strengths:
+Unrivaled in its processing capabilities considering its a very powerful microquabit processor.
+Can be used to create specialized integrated circuits.

Weaknesses :
-Any processor, whether CPU, or an accelerator is very brittle. It is somewhat negated with the fact that like all processors, it comes in hard encasing.

DESCRIPTION

While AIs are widely available in the galaxy, there are still very difficult to maintain, especially for small companies. That is why they rely on deep learning/ machine learning technologies. Nova Corp, recognizing this, decided to develop the Lamisa accelerator, however it is only specifically for its own usage.

Nova Corp engineers went to work, deciding to a quantum processor. The accelerator in actually is a highly powerful miniaturized quantum processor, featuring thousands of conducting quantum interface devices. The electrons inside quantum waves make interface patterns, which allows for quantum effects to occur, and therefore qubits.

Couplers, which are made of superconducting loops weer added in, allowing for a single qubit to become a multi-qubit processor. The processor can function to create various devices, such as an ASIC. It is therefore an excellent processor, and one that is very popular among Nova Corp engineers

As Drakos Systems grew, new subsidaries were created. The manufacturing and design was now taken up by Aladon, an rising software and hardware company. Featuring a team of AI hardware specialists, they, along with programmers were able to create an a variant that could function as an AI accelerator.

In comparison to traditional service AI architecture such as GPUs, Aladon settled for a set of ASCIS(Application-specific integrated circuit). ASCIS, being a set of microprocessors for specialized tasks, are well known for their high computational power, and they seemed like a natural choice for Aladon to go with. This coupled with the Aladon's prominence in the quantum-processing field allowed it to develop a set of microprocessors for the task.

For cloud-architecture, the company chose to model itself based on a specific type of AI accelerator(Google Edge TPU) that was able to deliver the power to work on neutral networks, machine learning, and other self-learning AI techniques.

Of course, it does have its weakness, the main one being that it cannot be used on classical computers(just like the way CPUs can't be used on quantum computers). Nevertheless, with it's fast processing speed, and is excellent for narrow AI programmers(as well as other Nova Corp programmers) who work for the betterment of the company.

PRE-FACTORY TEMPLATE
Submission Name: LaMasa Processor
Link to Submission: https://www.starwarsrp.net/threads/lamasa-processor.93074/
Reason for Pre-Factory Request: Change affiliation; change manufacturer; update links; update to new template. I would also like to add that it can function as an AI accelerator, so I'd probably add a multi-core version.

Moved to pre-factory per OP request.

Please remember to include a list of changes made when you tag a member of factory staff to move the submission back to live judgement.
