The Alliance has fallen. The Allied nations of the galaxy were united in the defense of the fallen super power. Now the galaxy has plunged into darkness as the Sith Empire moves to control even more systems, the Confederacy of Independent Systems, unified their worlds under the banner of the Obsidian Knights, lead by even more Sith, and the First Order works to rally and secure their systems ever more tightly. Darkness is breeding chaos across the galaxy, separating the Alliance bloc.

But out of this chaos Order arises.

The New Republic, centered on the world of Carida and the surrounding sectors of space is standing as a beacon of the light. Forming itself of many patriots of the former Galactic Republic, Alliance survivors of the End Game events, and those looking for an escape to the overwhelming darkness.

Chancellor Munnu Fati seeks to unite the worlds of the New Republic, giving all worlds an equal representation in the Republic Senate. His history is not that of a pure politician, and Fati is a retired Admiral from the Galactic Alliance, serving up until the End Game, the Chancellor is new to the game and looking to make his mark.

The Republic Senate stands to unite all of the worlds within the reformed government, giving them all an equal stance and say on matters of the galactic government. The Senate serves to give all worlds, from within and without the New Republic a chance to voice concerns, and work together to make common goals and plans a reality. Unlike Senates of the past, the New Republic wants to allow their allies a spot at the table, to listen, observe, and share in the shaping inter-governmental protocol.

But the Senate would never get anywhere without the New Republic military.

The New Republic Army is the fighting force for all ground movements, ranging from basic troopers, to highly trained combat engineers, and special forces, all members of ground assault teams fall in the realm of the New Republic Army. Highly trained, and highly motivated, the New Republic Army is ready to go toe to toe with the Sith and First Order in spirit. More and more supplies are being added to the armory for the soldiers to use, and the Army is accepting applications for all ranks and skill sets.

The New Republic Navy and Starfighter Corps make up the other half of the armed forces. With a limited number of worlds under their control, the New Republic’s navy is filling out and expanding by the day. With missions to assist the former Galactic Alliance and world of Mon Calamari, trained crews and advanced ships are finding their way within the borders of the new government. And like all good Republics and Alliances, the New Republic does not shy away from using her Starfighter Corps to extend the life of the Fleet and strike the Imperials hard and fast.

While the New Republic does focus upon the Senate and her Military, there are many other tasks for the galactic citizen to get involved in. Everyone is always supported by the Strategic Information Service, the primary intelligence gathering service for both foreign and domestic issues within the Republic. The Republic is also prime territory for budding business ventures, as the new worlds are always looking to find a way to benefit themselves, and their goal is your profit!

And what Republic is complete without Jedi? The New Republic. While the Jedi are offered a place here, they are recognized as a religious body, and are allowed to enlist in the military or participate in the government, but they are not given a formal role. The Jedi Order of the Republic is lead by Chief Historian [member="Alexandra Feanor"], and unlike Jedi Orders of former or current governments, serves more as an academic Jedi Order, rather than one that makes a point to strike the dark side on behalf of their host. This is not to say that the Jedi don’t make actions on their own, they will, especially as more of the former New Jedi Order funnel in.
