- Description: Evidently women, something hardly found in armies of armies like the ones of the New Imperial Order. This unit is easily distinguished by the armor used by them, reminiscent in its design with those used by mandalorians, covered in sparkling silver chrome and dark armorweave capes. The symbol of this handpicked unit by Lunafreya Solidor is based on a silvery crescent moon. The females are trained hard on the ideals preached by Lunafreya: loyalty, fidelity and creativity. All these ideals remain revolving around her and no one else, where fulfilling her requirements becomes the target of the Duchess's rewards and adulation.

- Combat Function: Trained to fight dirty. The Moonchild are one of the most cruel and treacherous units ever trained in the galaxy, with all their training supervised by Letho Rodarch, a renegade mandalorian in the service of the Duchess and by Diabolico, Lunafreya's favorite and her most loyal servant. The Moonchild have been extensively worked to become a unit ready to fulfill every Lunafreya whim, be it guarding your rooms and your palace, protecting her assets, defending your honor, killing without any remorse those who stand in your way and protecting your life. The training of these fascinating creatures was meticulously organized involving extensive knowledge in Echani fighting style, Bakuuni Hand, Stava, Teräs Käsi and the mandalorian fighting style. Taught by Diabolico himself how to maintain various forms of combat with a lightsaber using his combat blades to learn jar'kai and using the way that best fit each one. They are taught to rely on each other in their assignments and to consider each other as their 'sisters', failure is worthy of punishment but the worst of all is to abandon their sisters in need. The Moonchild is still a relatively new unit compared to the rest of the imperial army, rumors of its existence spread throughout the army and they are seen as little more than slaves in the service of Lunafreya, which is still true depending on the form someone to look at them, as they are prohibited from having individual names and are only referred to by their serial codes or the 'aliases' given by themselves. Their service is maintained in order to serve the Duchess above all, not only in search of rewards or even praise, but because they have been deceived by the idea that Lunafreya Solidor is their true mother, as well as their creator and for some, their goddess.
- Force Hunters: Due to abnormal and superhuman training, the Moonchild were more than prepared to hunt both Jedi and Sith alike. Equipped and taught how to deal with Force users to kill, wound, capture, mutilate each of them in the best way available.
- Loyal to the Fold: Thanks to their training doctrine, the Moonchild are loyal to the end. They will never surrender, they will never tell what they know, they will never do anything that they consider treachery to the Duchess.
- Lethal Creativity: Urged to think autonomously, the Moonchild are not only loyal dogs at the service of the Duchess, but are also one of the most creative units at their disposal. Taught to lead soldiers and command assets as they are at their disposal to be able to fulfill their mission accurately or die trying.
- Too loyal: The loyalty of each unit can be used against them if they notice that the Duchess's life is in danger.
- Limited: Due to the rare numbers of the Selyë, it is almost impossible to replace their numbers.
- Ego: Moonchild's ego is very sensitive. Perhaps due to the inclusion of the reptilian genome in your veins, this causes provocations to be easily met.
- Poison: Due to their high regenerative skills, they lack the antibodies to fight most sorts of poisons known in the galaxy.
- Despised: Some groups, such as mandalorians, tend to feel a lot of disgust and hate towards this unit. Due to their armor and ways being those copied from their culture.
Hand-picked by Lunafreya Solidor, this hundred female warriors were placed in training considered inhumane anywhere in the galaxy. They were beaten with electrostaffs to learn submission and resilience, whipped to learn devotion, brainwashed to worship Lunafreya above anything else, tricked into doing her whims, thrown into forests to hunt (or be hunted) by creatures like acklays, nightstalkers, rancors and even anakkonas.
All in order to produce the toughest and cruelest female warrior unit in the galaxy. Completely insane in serving the Duchess, as part of their training they were put to hunt criminals in JanFathal, but never with the intention of bringing them back to the law and to be tried, their job was only to bring back proof extermination, preferably the criminal's head and whoever was with him, regardless of whether they were spouses, friends or children. In their most recent involvement the Moonchild were released into the hell that ran over Bastion. Where they were the cause of many rumors about savagery, cannibalism and beheading of defeated enemies.
