The Fall of Hion the Herglic (Jedi Order)

"Master.." He cringed, still barely able to stand. "Is that Lightsaber he's carrying, it's possessed him." He groaned, Meta had hit the wall hard, finally getting to his feet he groaned again before turning to see his master looking around, unharmed. Meta was relieved, he was glad his master went by unharmed. Reattaching a dislocated arm, Meta began to walk in the direction of the Sith, before stopping. "What do we do?" He asked, turning his had to DragonsFlame.

As soon as she had felt the build up of darkside Energies Diana had run away from the strange Whale creature. She knew that there was darkness at work here, she could feel it in the very air. Diana was uniquely attuned to darkside artifacts, she could not wield them of course, but she had a sort of...resistance to their effects.

On Tython she had been pierced with two pieces of the ancient artifacts known as the DarkStaff, she had fought the sentient weapon tooth and nail for control of her body and for her own life. She had thankfully won in the end, although only doing so because the darkstaff had been in pieces at the time. Diana had sensed the power of the Soulsaber, and as soon as she realized its strength she knew she would need her own blade, Tyrfing. She felt the rumbling of the temple as Hion began to tear it apart.

Several times the floor's shook so badly that she lost her footing. With a scowl she rushed to her room, searching for only a split second before finding her blade and its scabbard upon her bed. In an instant Diana rushed back out the door, pulling out a comm-link and yelling into it.

“This is Knight Moridena. By the Order of Grandmaster @[member="Selena Halcyon"] lock down the temple, no one gets in, no one gets out. Surround it with Coruscant security if you have to. Authorization #3442319.” She would likely get in trouble for lying, but right now she didn't much care.

With uncanny speed Diana rushed towards the hangar bay of the Jedi Temple, bounding over fallen pillars and rocks.

The power of Hion's Force Bellow was so that Ella was lifted off her feet almost instantaneously. She heard a crash somewhere before a mystifying feeling overcame the Jedi Padawan as she sailed through the air. She saw bits of wall, pillar, fountain, book case, door and the remains of Tosh the Jedi Padawan fly around her before she felt a THUMP on her left hand side and an overbearing feeling of pain wash over her. She couldn't hear herself screaming in pain, but she could feel it. The proximity of the bellow had shattered her ear drums and sent Ella Nova through the gate she had been previously defending, breaking her shoulder and arm, with the latter breaking in three different places.

Skidding along the marble floor of the Jedi Temple, Ella came to an abrupt stop half a meter away from the room in which she had been standing in only thirty seconds prior. She felt the wetness of blood on the back of head, matting the dark brown locks of hair and her face was wet as well, from a nasty gash on her forehead. A bit of gate had cut her as she sailed through the air. She could hardly move, shaken by the power of Darth Orcus, as well as the pain. It felt like she had broken every bone in her body.

She murmured, "H-h-e-e-l-p," before falling unconscious on the floor.

The power of the bellow had indeed affected them all. Herself and the three padawans guarding the gate were thrown all over the place. Ru was also sent flying through the gate, pieces of the temple: pillars, walls, etc were flying threw the air right beside her. She landed on her back, and her head, and upper back clashed with a pile of rubble from the disastrous shout. She hit her head pretty hard, and there was a trail of blood coming from the corner of her mouth. Cuts, and bruises filled her red soaked skin. Her lower body was covered under rubble. She was conscious for acouple of seconds to see her fellow padawan @[member="Ella Nova"] lay upon the ground, murmuring words. Sochi couldn't make them out because her ears were ringing that much. She was fading in and out. Sochi just wasn't strong enough to get back up after this one. It wouldn't matter how determined she was, she just lacked the energy, and she too fell unconscious.

It was with thanks to the Force that a Jedi, even as young as Ella Nova, could recover a little from the serious injuries she had suffered. She woke up slowly, eyes fluttering. They stung from the dust in them from the falling debris. Thankfully, none of them had fell on top of her, pinning her unlike the unfortunate Sochi Ru that was near her. She struggled upwards, using her good arm to move a little, then struggled onto her knees and waited for more energy to come. She crawled on her knees towards Sochi and murmured, "Are you okay?"

There was nothing he could do then, but fight... Regrettably, Josh drew his lightsaber, taking off at a run past his Padawan @Meta. The Force aided him, Force Speed it was called, sending Josh zipping across the ground. He felt nothing but wind at his back, as he closed in on the Sith, Darth Orcus...

Orcus was slashing at @[member="Tracyn Ordo"] before Josh finally managed to catch up. Switching to Ataru, Josh leaped through the air, trying to slash through @[member="Hion the Herglic"]'s shoulder.

"BREAK FREE, DAMN YOU!" he called as he slashed. Meta was right, that soulsaber was what was corrupting Hion...

Where was the rest of the Council?

Dar’rak was in the hangar bay working on his speeder bikes when he felt the earth move under him several times as well as a disturbance in the flow of the force within the temple. “Now that seems odd?” He said to himself as something came over him to ready his lightsaber. Something was going on and he did not quite know what but figured he’d better be ready. All the time he had lived here in the temple he never remembered experiencing an earthquake so whatever this was, was not a natural occurrence. Gripping the hilt of his combined lightsabers he pulled it from his belt and gripped it in his hand as he felt a strong ominous feeling coming towards him.

The dust seemed to hang in the the air for an aeon. It clung to where Carn had been but a moment before like a thick cloud of silence, as if dedicated to the passing of a warrior. Yet it was but a moment, and soon the dust began to settle. However his body was not where it should have been. He was not sprawled out, broken on the floor. Nor was he keeled over, taking his last breaths. No. Carn was stood proud. His right hand was extended, and whilst the dust from the hauum was still settling, a faint ripple could be seen around him, like he had been protected by some unseen barrier or shield. The Force was truly Carn's ally, and it seemed it was not willing to allow this Jedi to pass away yet.

He strode forwards, in the direction of the heretic Herglic with lethal intent. His lightsaber found itself clipped back to his belt. He would have no need for it here. What he needed was focus. And focus he had. With each step his mind sharpened. With each step, he bolstered his ability to reach into the living Force. There was something building within Carn. The knights and masters in the area would have been able to sense it within him.

Whatever Carn intended to release, it would be devistating. For those that had heard rumors of Carn's capability, there was more than reason to fear the oncoming storm.

The Force buzzed and swam about him, like a heavy maelstrom of energy that seemed to distort reality around his body, promising to reveal the mysteries of life, death, and every state in between. Yet the temptations of such raw Force energy were mere trivial persuits to Carn at this stage. He was twisting the very essense of the living Force at his fingertips, binding it to his will. His steps barely registered in his mind, yet each one brought him closer to his target. Hion. His defiled presence was akin to a blot of midnight black ink upon an otherwise unstained and pure field of white. Carn felt the pull of the Force as he stepped towards Hion. It knew his intent, and it intended to protest against it. What he intended was not natural, yet he continued with his actions anyway. They would understand. They would accept. It was for the greater good...

Hion the Herglic said:
the Darth unleashed another bellow toward the roof. The ceiling rumbled and stones fell with a sound like thunder, blocking up the hallway behind Orcus.
OOC: Josh, bud, I'd respond to your attack, but there is a ton of rubble blocking the way between you (and everyone else) and Hion. Sorry.

Orcus continued on his rampage through the Temple. But he did not plan on being there for long. They had locked down all the exits to and from the building. The exits as well. So Orcus made his own.

Permacrete sprayed into the open air of Coruscant as a bellow ripped open a hole in the side of the Jedi Temple. Orcus jumped from the hole, deactivating his lightsabers as he did. His body slide along the outside of the Jedi Temple's slightly sloped walls as he sped downward. The wind whipped at his blubber, but his big, black eyes stared fixedly downward, his brow glowering in concentration. Speed increasing rapidly, he hurtled down the side of the Temple, heading straight for the ground. Just before he reached it he unleashed a shockwave from his mouth. The force from the expelled air against the ground counteracted the velocity of his fall. He hit it like a cushion. A very hard cushion.

WHAM

Orcus groaned, lifting himself off the ground slowly. He looked around. Above him he could feel the sensations of many beings, all full of alarm. However, Coruscanti security had not shown up yet. It would take them some time to appear in force, more to understand what was happening, and even more time to secure all traffic lanes around the Temple. The Jedi Order did not control the military, or the planet security, though they thought they did. The arrogance. Orcus stomped off, disappearing into the urban sprawl. It took him a matter of minutes to hijack a suitable airspeeder for his considerable... girth.

Moments later, he arrived at a spaceport, knocked out a freighter pilot, and stole his vessel. Planet-wide lockdown would not occur over a possible homicide. By the time Coruscant security was searching for the stolen speeder, Orcus had already left the planet.

Blessed are the peacemakers
Tracyn was utilizing Teras Kasi, so it was fairly easy to dodge the maneuver that the large Herglic was using, as Teras Kasi was specifically designed to fight and kill Jedi and force sensitives as a whole, so the incredible amount of speed he was under meant that it was near effortless to dodge it. However, Tracyn did get caught under the pile of rubble, and only by curling up in a ball and by the strength of his Beskar'gam did he manage to come out, mostly unscatched. He sat under the rubble for a long while, before a gauntlet bearing hand shot out from the rubble, and Tracyn slowly, and painfully, pulled himself up. He coughed, brushing the dust off of his body. He glanced at the other Jedi, and sat down.

The padawan, Tosh, had only spoken to Tracyn a few times. He was inquisitive about Tracyn's past, specifically the Mandalorian part. Tracyn found some comfort in discussing it with the boy, as it had enlightened the boy on the Mandalorians and the culture, and moreso the Ori'ramikade as a whole. He sighed, and sat down on the rubble, glancing to each of the Jedi. After a lengthy battle, it was a normal thing for Tracyn sit down after a particularly taxing fight, more mental than physical. He leaned forward, placing his head in his hands, sighing.

"Someone take a note of the make and model of the speeder he probably is stealing right now..."Tracyn was thinking of what he would do in the situation. Acquire transport. Get off world. Make haste for a friendly system or sector. Where was Hion going, then? "And then someone make sure that we keep a lookout for that speeder at all of our friendly spaceports, and send a word out to our friends."Tracyn stood up, placing his hands behind his head, walking forward slowly. He had little idea, truthfully, of what to do now. He turned towards Josh, and the other Jedi in the room, still standing on top of the rubble. He placed one leg higher than the other, and glanced downward at the Jedi in the room.

"Let us hope and beg that there is something still left of Hion in that body, otherwise, we all know what we have to do."He said solemnly, falling back into the rubble, his armor clanking as he hit it - hard. He was winded, and wounded from the mass of duracrete and other building materials nearly crushing him.

Meta was no longer interested in Hion, he ran for the gates. "Sochi!" He cried, rushing to the rumble she was under, Ella Nova was at her side. Also badly bruised, she was standing over Sochi. Meta stopped beside them, getting down on his knees. Knocking the rubble out if the way, pulling larger chunks off with both hands. Within a few moments it was only Sochi lying there. Blood pouring from her mouth, she was covered in bruises and cuts. "Oh no..." He mumbled sadly. Before checking her pulse, luckily she was still alive. He took her arm and pulled it over his shoulder and his other arm under Sochi's legs, picking her up. Her body dangling in his arms. "We need to get her medical attention." He shouted.

"I think I might need some too, Meta..." Ella leaned her good side on the wall to hold herself up, looking down at Sochi before lifting her gaze to Meta. "I think my arm is broken and my head hurts." She tried to lift her arm, but winced and nearly screamed because of the pain. She decided to stay still until someone helped her. "How did you not get hurt Meta?" she mumbled.

"There's blood dripping from my head and my collar bone snapped." He said, throwing it off. Meta had faced worse. "I can shrug it off thanks to the extensive augments I have." He said, that's as far as he'd go into explaining his ability to walk it off. "Now." He said, moving Sochi into one of his arms, holding the upper part of her body mostly under his right arm. He offered his arm to Ella. "Let me help you." He said, slowly making his way towards her and offering his arm for her to balance and hold onto. Meta could feel the pain surging through him, though he shrugged it off as something less important. His friends needed him right now, he wasn't about to give out when they needed him. He would never do that.

As rubble fell everywhere around Cale, the Jedi Kngiht arrowed his eyes. Jumping back as a chunk of rock smashed into the found before him, then preforming a backflip to evade another. As the rubble settled, Cale didn't stop, he reached out and began jerking rocks free from the top, making a hole large enough for him to fit through, and shot through it, using the force to hum through the hole, which was of course, atop the debris, because making one lower would've cause an avalanche and all that bad stuff. "HION!" He bellowed at @[member="Hion the Herglic"] as he reactivated both of his sabers and beckoned for the whale to engage him.

One on one, man against man-whale. He knew that Hion wasn't gone yet, but something in that saber was pushing him close to the edge. "Hion, me and you, just us. You may want to fight us, but remember it's us your against, not the younglings whose lives you're putting at risk." He stated, hoping to get through to what light remained inside Orcus.

"Master, could you help Ella?" He asked, still having them both leaning on him. He kept steady with Sochi in one arm and Ella on the other. "I need to get Sochi medical attention quick." He advised, he was fast and he should've been gone by now. But Ella needed help, luckily his master was there and the sooner he got Sochi to medical attention the better, Meta could feel the blood dripping from his own forehead and his arm was beginning to give out as his collar bone became less and less stable.

Ella winced before sucking in air and forcing herself up from Meta's body to her feet. That Corellian determination that only someone from Corellia could understand. "I can handle myself," she mumbled, nearly swaying on her feet. She took one step, then two, then three and stopped. Lifting her good hand to her face, she tucked a strand of dangling hair behind her ear and brushed her fringe out of her eyes. She felt the cut on the back of her head and flinched. "If it's all the same to you, Master DrangonsFlame, Meta, Sochi, I think I'm going to the medical bay."

She felt better now, concentrating on getting herself, Meta and Sochi to the Halls of Healing. "Master DrangonsFlame, I think that you would be better off coming with us too. But if you're going to go after Hion... Orcus," she gulped before continuing, "Please make sure Carn is okay, please?"

She moved back around to the side of Sochi, moving more freely now. She took her other arm and winked at Meta. "Let's go guys."

"Carn can handle himself" he said coldly, now rather pissed off at the situation. "You guys are my main priority, CarnBob JuyoPants will get him" he assured with a slight smile as he walked over, offering an arm for @[member="Ella Nova"] to rest her shoulder on.

"How is she?" he asked, looking over at @[member="Sochi Ru"]. "I can hold the both of you. Meta, can you get Sochi up and hand her to me?" he asked.

Demonstrating, he suddenly lifted @[member="Ella Nova"] up with surprising ease, resting her gently on his left shoulder as if she were a ragdoll. His near superhuman strength was surprising, but he smiled a bit despite it.

"I can hold them both, and get them to the med bay as fast as possible. Trust me, I can run with these two on my shoulders" he said with a slight chuckle. "If you want to put Sochi up on the other one, I can get them both to med bay while you check for anyone else that may be wounded" he offered to @Meta. "If you don't want to, then grab Sochi and come with me to the med bay. We gotta get these two there soon as possible"

Meta shook his head. "I think I may need some medical aid too." He said, the blood drippings own his neck line and onto the ground. "So, if I'm going to the medical bay. I might as well look heroic while I do it." He said with a smile. He was surprised at his Masters strength, however it was not overly complicated to figure out he was using the force. Once the discussion was over, Meta began making massive strides towards the Medical bay.

Josh, of course, wasn't using the Force. That fact would probably surprise people, but he didn't bother getting into it. He laughed a bit at Meta's answer and nodded.

"Take @[member="Sochi Ru"] then" he said to Meta. I'll take Ella" he added as he started walking with relative ease, despite the Jedi on his shoulder.

"You comfy up there?" he asked Nova with a laugh.
