  • Distinctions:
    • Present Day:
      • Cybernetic Bodies: Following their psychological decline into madness and fear of death, the Eldon, once known as the Ibus to the people of Ancient Credence, have transferred the consciousness of each individual within their species into advanced cybernetic bodies structured after the Galaxy's dominate species: humanity. These bodies are as variable as any organic species with each body having iconography, phrases, and details unique to the individual.
      • Archaic Social Structure: A leftover from their previous society, the Eldon Divinity employ an archaic, kraetocratic caste system based off of military genius, brutal aggression, and ruthless ambition. In other words, the more effective and powerful an individual Eldon is, the more prestige and rank they will gain.
      • No Visible Genders: Due to their cybernetic nature, the Eldon do not possess visible genders with males and females only being identified by their individual vocabulators.
      • No Breeding: As they lack genitalia on account of their current form, the Eldon do not breed as organics do. Instead, they continuously craft new Divine Essence Hosts in the Reliquary upon Weik which are implanted with their preserved organs or digitalized consciousnesses.
      • Force Dead: As they are now a species of bio-mechanical monstrosities cut off from the Force, the Eldon are now Force Dead and cannot be detected or strongly affected as such.
    • Ancient:
      • Extra-Galactic: Like the Yuuzhan Vong, The Eldon, once known as The Ibus, originated outside the known galaxy from a currently undetermined location. Several of the ancient Eldon claimed that they too were unsure of how they wound up in the known Galaxy, but various testaments and writings recovered by one Kascalion Giedfield hint that they somehow traversed the Netherworld, or something akin to it, and merely appeared through a rift.
      • Avian Biology: The ancient Eldon were a strange avian race with an incredible wingspan and humanoid legs. Their beaks were said to be lined with rows of pinprick teeth capable of ripping apart even the toughest of flesh, which was shown greatly during their first encounter with the people of Credence and the wider Baal system.
  • Races:
    • Mek: The ruling figure of the Eldon, gifted with the best technology they possess at any given time and the right to rule the species how they see fit, whether by having them engage in a Galactic wide crusade or fall into isolation should their number of enemies be too great. The Mek is the highest of the high-born caste, placed into their role via the Divine Mandate, and can rule anywhere from ten months to ten decades to ten centuries. They can be visibly identified by their massive white and gold Divine Essence Hosts and hereditary warhammer. Only one Mek can be active at a time, although previous can be consulted by the current in only the most dire of straits should their consciousness still be active in the Reliquary. During the time of the Ibus, the Mek was considered a living God as the first, and until the transition into cybernetic bodies the only, Mek was a highly powerful Force Sensitive who had mastered both the Light and the Dark. Following its death and the widespread transition into cybernetics, the title Mek became the standard and many have strived to earn the right to have its name.
    • Najja: The high-born caste of the Eldon, these serve as the Eldon Divinity's generals and commanders throughout its endless wars. These, unlike the other three sub-races, are established by bloodlines and are only modifiable by the deaths of its members. In other words, a Sabak and Dempae cannot become a Najja, but can become a Mek if they showcase the skills in combat and leadership necessary to serve as the ruler of the Eldon, as was the case with Dur, the current Eldon Mek. However, it is far more common for a Najja to become a Mek. Additionally, the Najja benefit from having direct backups their Divine Essence Hosts developed; unlike the Sabak and Dempae, their memories and consciousness are digitalized and updated prior to and after every deployment within their headquarters upon Weik, meaning that they do not need to have their birth organs retrieved from the battlefield to return to life.
    • Sabak: The standard rank-and-file off the Eldon, the Sabak are the footsoldiers, the engineers, and the scientists. These are the foundation of Eldon society and are the most variable in appearance and personality, fulfilling various roles depending on their skills, ranks, and individual desires. For example, one Sabak could strive to become the new Mek and will attempt to climb the ladder as effectively as possible while another may simply desire to be a juggernaut on the battlefield and seek to acquire one of the rare Colossus Divine Essence Hosts.
    • Dempae: The lowest of the social structure, the Dempae serve as nothing more than cannon fodder, lowly servants, and are given downgraded, often damaged Sabak Divine Essence Hosts. They exist only to make the lives of those above them easier and are given very low expectations of life.
  • Force Sensitivity:
    • Current: Force Dead
    • Ancient: Rare
STRENGTHS
  • Cybernetic Bodies: The greatest strength of the Eldon is their new cybernetic bodies which, if utilized properly, grants them essential immortality. Additionally, these bodies are usually fully upgradable and modifiable to the individual's desires, meaning that no two Eldon body is the same given the vast menagerie of cybernetic and visual upgrades the galaxy has to offer (or more likely, for the Eldon to steal).
  • Vast Warfare Knowledge: Given their, technically, immortal lifespan and heightened computerized intelligence, the Eldon as a whole possess vast knowledge on how to conduct warfare on multiple levels and variations. This knowledge was once genetically set to the leaders of the Ibus and has now been digitalized to be shared across the entire Eldon Divinity so that each soldier, no matter their rank, is as competent as possible.
  • Force Dead: Having cut themselves off from the Force by way of cybernetic transitioning, the Eldon can no longer be felt by or greatly affected by most Force abilities save for direct offensive abilities such as Force Lightning.
  • Ruthless Aggression: The Eldon have rarely known decisive, total defeat due to their almost universal lack of fear and belief that they are the pinnacle of Galactic life. This has unmistakably led to deep, ruthless aggression within the Divinity which drives them to push as hard and as effectively as they can to achieve victory, which often happens because of their sheer numbers and advanced combat efficiency.
WEAKNESSES
  • Force Dead: Severed from the Force, the Eldon cannot benefit from direct or passive abilities, such as Battle Meditation or Force Healing.
  • Cybernetic Bodies: As they are, more or less, cyborgs in the purest sense, the Eldon are highly, if not extremely, susceptible to EMP and ION weapons which can devastate entire deployments within seconds if the soldiers fall to the following weakness.
  • The Eldon Madness: Unlike the Ibus of old, many of the Eldon of the current age are deeply maniacal and insane due to their perceived state of perfection to the point that many of its soldiers and leaders will outright ignore their genetic superiority in the conduction of warfare. This has resulted and will result in numerous battalions being utterly destroyed by their enemies because of frequent mistakes in combat, despite the Eldon possessing the capability of being a truly undefeatable force.
  • No Allies: As warmongering, omnicidal maniacs who hold no value for the rest of the Galaxy's species, the Eldon have no allies to speak of, and most attempts at diplomacy end in utter failure and death. It has now reached a point that most of the Galaxy will immediately attack any Eldon they have spotted near them.
CULTURE
  • Diet:
    • None (Current) - As they are now cybernetic monstrosities, the Eldon no longer need to eat standard organic food or liquids and are instead kept in fighting shape through routine check-ups and repairs.
    • Carnivore (Ancient) - In their former bodies, the Eldon were carnivorous avians that could and would consume most meats across the planets they inhabited in the Baal system.
  • Communication:
    • Vocabulator (Current) - As they lack lips and vocal cords, the Eldon communicate through customizable vocabulators equipped with innumerable dialects from innumerable cultures and species.
    • Telepathy (Ancient) - The Ancient Eldon once communicated with telepathy due to their avian bodies, which possessed sharp beaks that prevented proper enunciation for most languages present in the Baal system.
  • Technology level: While the Eldon may appear to be advanced beyond what the Galaxy can offer, they are, in actuality, quite level on the scale and could be considered Standard in some cases. The D.E.H.s are, more or less, cyborg bodies designed to hold the Eldon organs or digitalized consciousnesses. In fact, many of the weapons, ships, and vehicles the Eldon use in battle are scavenged from existing cultures and factions. The only difference between the Galaxy's standard line of droids and the Eldon D.E.H.s is that the latter are painstakingly designed to resemble the human skeleton with various personal iconography.
  • Religion/Beliefs:
    • Atheism (Current) -The Eldon no longer believe in their ancient gods as they have, in their minds, achieved ultimate perfection in body and mind and thus find no use in following such archaic systems.
    • Polytheism (Ancient) - When they appeared in the Baal system, the ancient Eldon preached of a wide pantheon of Gods and Goddesses that granted them their spiritual successes and strength in combat. Many of these Gods and Goddesses were commonly considered evil war gods, and the kindest of them were only considered aggressively neutral on the best of days. This ultimately played a huge role in the Eldon's many early wars with the natives of Credence and the rest of the Baal System.
  • General behavior: The Eldon are, on the most basic sense, a species of omnicidal, egomaniacal, ambitious, ruthless, sadistic, cruel warlords hell-bent on eradicating or enslaving all life in the Galaxy. They hold no love for other races and will outright attack them with no provocation upon first contact. This behavior has led to the Eldon having no allies to speak of and quadrillions of enemies willing to do anything to outright eradicate the Eldon just as they would eradicate those they encounter.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION [More in-depth information regarding the Eldon's history and motives will be posted here]

The history of Eldon predates even the planet they became known upon. Their exact origins are unknown to Galactic record, but information gleaned from the troubled mind of Kascalion Giedfield indicates that the Eldon are in fact extra-galactic in origin, meaning that they could have existed for centuries or even millennia prior to appearing in the Known Galaxy. How the did so is unknown, although many signs seem to imply that they somehow traversed the Netherworld in mass pilgrimages of a spiritual nature, although it is uncertain how they managed to do this and whether or not the rift they exited through is still in existence.

Regardless, they lived a relatively tumultuous life in the Baal System for many centuries before ultimately abandoning their organic bodies in favor of cybernetic forms which they allegedly obtained the schematics for from the destroyed planet Faith. This planet itself may have served as a science world in secret for a thus far undetermined species, which would explain how the Eldon managed to obtain the knowledge for these bodies and their early ships despite the Baal System possessing no known technological advancements of that nature. Upon sacrificing blood and flesh for oil and metal, the Eldon lay siege to the planet of Credence before departing for the rest of the Galaxy, eventually coming to settle on multiple worlds and forming the Eldon Divinity to wage an endless omnicidal war against the rest of the Galaxy's 100 quadrillion inhabitants.
