GENERAL INFORMATION

Media Name:
Decree of the Eradication of Disloyal Persons of Moridinae and Surrounding Worlds
Format: Like other Imperial Documents, the decree is written originally on flimsiplast, whilst all other copies are held digitally on holobooks.
Distribution: Interplanetary
Length: Short
Description: An Imperial Seal penned as the brain-child of Mandalore’s Imperial Military-Governor Lirka Ka during her brief isolation, the Decree of the Eradication of Disloyal Persons of Moridinae and Surrounding Worlds is the escalation of the the Decree for the Resettlement of the Mandalorian People that was issued prior, and Operation: Decimation that accompanied it; the escalation of these two doctrines issued as a response to the failed Mandalorian attempt to retake Mandalore. Baring its intention with no intent on sugar-coating them, the Decree states three main tenants: all Citizenry on Moridinae are to be immediately moved offworld, all children present on world are to immediately to be conscripted and psycho-indoctrinated into the Imperial Armed Forces if deemed suitable, all remaining on world are deemed traitors to the Empire and are to be executed: if deemed of suitable strength, enslaved for the mines instead: with all property and assets are transferred to the Empire A brutal doctrine formed by the mind of a being with unending spite and hatred for the people who inhabited the planet she currently ruled over, both a tool for revenge and to make an example of any would be rebels who would dare resist the Empire in the future.

SOCIAL INFORMATION

Author:
The Decree is ultimately the brainchild of Military-Governor Lirka Ka, though it has gone through all the upper echelons of the Empire before being initiated: the Dark Council being the most notable of these institutions
Publisher: Office of Imperial Truth
Reception: Much as with the Decree for the Resettlement of the Mandalorian People, the tensions between the Empire and the Citizens of Mandalore (now Moridinae) were high: with the brutality inflicted upon their homeworld once the former decree was initiated those tensions rose to even greater heights and many resistance movements began to pop up across the world: even more so the case with the Decree of Eradication, those who realized that their lives had been deemed forfeit for not taking up the Military-Governor’s offer during the Battle of Mandalore to fight alongside the Imperials, and with their children the most prevalent persons in the crosshairs many civilians left on the world quickly took up whatever arms they could to stand against the encroaching Imperial horde. An intentional side-effect by the Military-Governor. The Decree of Eradication is looked at with equal parts understanding, horror, or even glee depending on whom looks upon it’s texts: for many of have been wronged by the peoples of Mandalore, whilst others have never been anything close to slighted by their people. Though any within the Empire who stand against it are declared treasonous and have the full brutality of the Empire inflicted upon them: just as the traitors of Moridinae.

FORMAT INFORMATION

Just as with the Decree of Resettlement the Decree of Eradication was distributed in many different formats throughout Imperial Space: though the Armed Forces were given first priority information, so as to be aware of the task to follow of slaughtering those left on the world. Though unlike prior, once the Decree was initiated a speech was given at Fortress Imperious on Imperial Concordia by Lirka so as to declare it’s passing and intentions.

EVENTS

Event Name:
Decree for the Resettlement of the Mandalorian People
Links: The Decree
Participants: Sith Empire, peoples of Mandalore
Overview: The initial document that began the slow and steady removal of the Mandalorian people and their culture: a piece that would help incite the Battle of Mandalore, as well lay the groundworks for the Decree of Eradication to be what it is today.

Event Name: The Battle of Mandalore
Links: The Battle of Mandalore
Participants: The Sith Empire, and the Network
Overview: The Mandalorian attempt to shake the Imperial occupiers from their homeworld, as well as taking as ferrying those they could offworld when able. The events of the attack incited more rebellion across Imperial Moridinae, as well as a decree from the planet’s Military Governor on citizenship granted to those who took up arms against the attackers. To little shock, only a meager handful of individuals did actually stand alongside the Imperial Defenders: with this fact in mind, only the most bloody of retributions could be given to the people of Moridinae: their complete and utter eradication. With the battle fresh in the mind of the Military-Governor as she penned the plans for the system-wide genocide. With this battle serving as the core example for the price of rebellion against Sith-Imperial domination.

CONTENT INFORMATION

The Decree of the Eradication of Disloyal Persons of Moridinae goes as follows, beginning initially with a statement by the Military Governor before detailing it’s articles:
Sorrowfully the people of Moridinae have shown an unwillingness to accept the peace and order that our Empire brings to all worlds, showing themselves to be violent, dangerous, and ultimately traitorous: and as such, with heavy hearts we must initiate what lays beyond.
  • Decree of The Eradication of Disloyal Persons of Moridinae
    • Article 1
      • All Imperial Citizens on Moridinae are to be immediately moved off-world and provided the best living conditions available, in addition those handfuls of non-citizens of Moridinae who took up arms against the Insurgent Attack are to be immediately granted full Imperial Citizenship, a sum of 15,000 Credits, and choice of estate when Moridinae is able to be resettled
    • Article 2
      • All minors on Moridinae deemed redeemable are to be immediately conscripted into the Imperial Armed Forces and undergo rigorous psycho-indoctrination to remove all taint from their minds: after treatment they are to be assigned to whichever organization best suits their skills. • Article 3

    • Article 4
      • All credits, property and belongings are to be immediately transferred to the Sith-Imperial Banking Clan. Failure to do so or efforts to conceal such assets such be met with immediate termination of all parties involved.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Deemed to be the only logical escalation of Sith-Imperial Operation: Decimation the Decree for the Eradication of Disloyal Persons is a document born from the unending spite and malice of Lirka Ka towards the Mandalorian people. Already the “Sephi” causing great carnage against the people on the planet for the slightest infraction: using the Battle of Mandalore as a catalyst to escalate Operation: Decimation to it’s maximum degree, Lirka sealed herself away in her chambers on Fortress Imperious for near the sum of a standard Galactic Week and created this plan to purge Mandalorians and their culture in what the Governor deemed to be the most all-consuming method.

The Decree gained mixed reception, for it was equal parts Imperial retribution and a political power-play by Moridinae’s Governor: displayed in grandiose fashion on Corcordia’s Fortress-Imperious among a gathered crowd of the Sith-Imperial elite while armed forces were ferried off to the planet itself to begin the initial attacks of the “Great Hunt”, the twisted game that the Governor created to test the mettle of all forces allocated to the removal of the disloyal persons.

With the decree in place, a dark shadow was cast over Mandalore and her children as the great might of the Empire bares down upon them: turning all those unlucky enough to have been left on the world into a gory example for all rebels who would dare to lash out against the Empire and their ever growing expansion.
