It had been a few weeks since the initial requisition had initially gone out to the Knights Obsidian, and even though the Lord Commander, Gerwald Lechner , of the organization had confirmed that they would be sending a team to investigate the disturbance on the planet, Jorik had begun to worry. He cared for his people here and having to restrict the freedom of their movement on the basis of their own health and safety caused his stomach to turn over.

He was nearly about to reach out to the Knights Obsidian again when finally he received word of the team’s scheduled arrival to the system. Letting out a sigh in relief, he stood from his desk where he had been monitoring his Viceroy inbox.

At the entrance to his office was the emissary the Immerin of the system’s moon had sent. Though he couldn’t say he knew the true intentions of the people’s desire to send the delegate, he was thankful they’d offered what he saw as an olive branch. Hoping to establish a positive accord between the natives of Yesmireen and the Confederacy which desired nothing short of the planet’s prosperity to be restored.

Stepping forward, Jorik offered the feminine Immerin with blue tones a greeting before continuing, an invitation for their company therein. It would take a few moments, but Jorik and the emissary made their way to the landing pad designated to the inbound Knights Obsidian and awaited the team’s arrival where they could further elaborate on the situation at hand.

Correspondence with Jorik Valnora had gotten interesting with the discovery of what was believed to be a force nexus. Typically Gerwald would not go to see it in person as there were others he could send which were more capable of a thing, but recent events had seemed too similar to some the effects the messages had described Gerwald had decided he wanted to see it with his own two eyes.​

A team had been assembled to go with him, one of them being someone that had grown on Gerwald for several reasons, Oleander Webb . His best asset was how he moved through shadow and his “unique” ability to collect information. He was proving to be an invaluable asset to the new Lord Commander, and while some would say the effects of this Nexus may make him a liability, Gerwald was certain he would not be.​

Gerwald was also touched by the dark side, it was risk for him to venture near it. That was why he had reached out to those of the Lotus chapter as well. They would need those of the light side persuasion to help keep the balance in this situation. The ship had room for a decent sized team, and could handle whatever complement Gerwald needed for this mission.​

It seemed the Viceroy would waste no time in greeting them. As the loading ramp lowered, Gerwald was the first to walk down. He was a man of action, always the first one off and the last one on in missions. Even this would not be any different, even if being the first off the ship​

He nodded to the man he had only met through their discourses. At least the image in his file had been a decent likeness.​

“Viceroy Valnora, we arrived as soon as we could get here. I feel we should not delay. You have set up a briefing for us, yes?”​

Though an experienced fighter and quite a knowledge person about general things Kurenai wasn't the most versed on the force itself, having been self trained through out the centuries of her life. As such things like force nexus were not really her specialty but at the same time she wanted to learn and experience more about them. Still being young for her race it would be very likely she'd stumble across more of them in the coming years and as a Knight she had the best chance to get learn.

She had approached Gerwald Lechner and expressed her desire to join the team on this expedition. Equipping herself the best she could for such a venture, and for once a small lingering feeling of concern wafted in her mind. If anything else today would be a new experience. Herself following the rest of the team as the ship landed, standing just to the side of the wolf boy as the Viceroy came to greet them. Quite a good sign if she had to make a comment, meant he was prepared and ready to get this operation underway, though at the same time it probably mean the issue at hand would be difficult to over come.... sounded like fun.
