Overview:
Concealed beneath the seedy underbelly of the Universe there is a conflict being fought, not some struggle between interstellar governments over some divergence in ideology or economics but between the greater guiding and omnipresent forces of Order and Chaos, Light and Dark. That was the eternal war and would be fought as long as the force existed.
In the decade of 850 ABY the duality’s influence gives birth to an odious and insidious conspiracy aimed at unraveling the rule of law in favor of the law of nature; the strong do what they will while the weak suffer what they must. The conspiracy’s members support its' ostensibly anarchic Darwinian aim for their own reasons and clandestinely includes: Gerad Naahan an influential Umbaran Crime Lord at the head of an interplanetary cartel, Kor Vexen an Anzati Sith Warlord, Vilaz Munin a Mandalorian Chieftain, Khonsu Amon a Thychani Commander of the Thyrsian Sunguard and Veena Reshma a Spymaster.
These are the names of the leading antagonists for this over-arching story, with plenty of secondary antagonists that will be encountered throughout the threads. The idea is that over the individual storylines the depth and implications of the conspiracy can potentially be revealed to the characters involved with the potential to kick-off an in-story conflict that threatens to suck in virtually all active governments and other large organisations across the chaos sandbox, subject to their desire to participate.

Storylines:
- Apex Predators: Clan Munin led by Vilaz Munin punishes the weak and timid with a Mandalorian Crusade of brutality not seen for thousands of years, designed to separate and cultivate strength from what is perceived to be a feeble and decadent galaxy through the fires of War. Behind the scenes an Anzati Lord-General and second-in-command of the Sith-Imperial Military supports Alor Munin whom he views as possessing the necessary strength to be worthy of the title of Mand’alor with materiel. In addition to Lord Kor Vexen, Khonsu Amon a Thychani Commander of the elite and esteemed Thrysian Sunguard has seized the opportunity to exact terrible vengeance and collect debts long owed.

Summary: The Mandalorian Clan Munin leads allied clans disguised as warriors loyal to the United Clans of Mandalore in a false-flag raid the Silver Jedi Order protected world of Umbara with hundreds upon hundreds of combatants and murder the armed and unarmed alike in careless, guiltless fury horrifying the Forces of Order. Leaving hundreds dead and thousands wounded after narrowly escaping the Forces of Order, Vilaz and his most loyal warriors journey to their next target their ships laden with captives.

- Summary: Under their odious false colours and insignia Vilaz Munin's Crusade to scour and purge the weak and decadent descends upon the war-ravaged world of Eshan, home to an old and hated enemy defying the Confederacy of Independent Systems' exclusion zone within Eshan's system. Meanwhile on the edge of Eshan's System Thychani Commander Khonsu Amon prepares to exact a terrible vengeance upon his pale-skinned Echani foe for their enslavement and oppression of his people with an intention to utterly obliterate the Almera Accords and succeed the incumbent Supreme Sun Guardian.

- Underworld Odyssey: Within the Coruscanti Underworld on the Imperial Confederated Systems’ Capital, Coruscant Security Force struggles against the myriad unsavoury criminal elements that inhabit and feast upon a largely lawless underworld. The Imperial Security Bureau manipulates Coruscant Security Force into co-operating with criminals in the interests of justice, but how long will the tenuous alliance hold when all that unites the Umbaran Cartel led by Gerad Naahan and Imperial Security Bureau is the former’s greater organisation of evil compared to the innumerable street gangs and petty criminals? Those misguided Imperials will know before the end that the Shadow People of Umbara belonging to Gerad Naahan's cartel respect only the Rule of Nature and not the Rule of Law they desperately seek to impose upon the Chaos.

- Political Sovereignty: The Crusade Eternal comes to Corellia. With the aid of the Confederacy of Independent Systems’ Minister of Secrets, Gerad Naahan and Joaquin Phoenix Commander of the Nyeon Winter Revolutionaries have orchestrated an armed political conflict within the nascent fledgling Corellian Confederation between its’ Citizens who want to join the Imperial Confederated Systems such as the Sons of Corellia and Corellian Imperial People’s National Party who have come together in a political coalition, opposing their ambitions for political self-determination and the Corellian Confederation itself is the radical libertarian Belters. The Imperial Confederated Systems and Corellian Confederation must find a resolution to this political conflict before it claims too many lives in pitting the Forces of Order against one-another.

This thread will serve as an OOC place to communicate, collaborate and organise for a campaign story centered around the good old star wars theme of the penultimate struggle between Light versus Dark, Order versus Chaos. You can submit characters for inclusion into the plot itself along with the specific storyline or storylines you would like to write specific characters within. The Forces of Order characters are supposed to be classic heroes, anti-heroes and tragic heroes while the Forces of Chaos will have your classic villains although it is worth remembering that not all antagonists necessarily need to possess villainous qualities just as long as you could see them opposing the story's "Heroes" in this case the Forces of Order.

It is my intention that Major Factions who wish to participate in these Campaign threads can submit them as part of their activity checks. This is an attempt on my part to encourage as many writers and different factions to get involved as possible without writers and staff of Major Factions worrying about threads relating to this storyline detracting from their own dominions, faction threads etc. through this way everybody should be able to fairly cultivate the participation in these threads in a constructive fashion for their associated major factions. In advance I would like to thank those Major Factions who kindly co-operate with myself and the involved writers to write this story on worlds within Major Faction influence clouds.
When you make an application on the topic for inclusion of a character please specify which storyline(s) you want the nominated character to participate in, whether or not they are a "Player" character or "Non-Player" Character and whether or not they're going to be written as an antagonistic character with the Forces of Chaos or a "Hero" with the Forces of Order. This will help me accurately update the roster and keep it current for quick-reference by other writers.
There are some guidelines anybody wishing to participate in the Campaign should keep in mind, namely:
- Metagaming: An important part of the suspense, tension and drama within this story is derived from its' dramatic irony that we as the audience know and understand things characters within the text do not, when you write a character inappropriately possessing knowledge that only the audience or writers are privy to this is what is referred to as "Metagaming". Any writer involved in the campaign who writes their characters inappropriately breaching this irony and/or egregiously will likely be asked on an OOCly basis by their peers to censor themselves and edit the offending material in question. A writer who Continuously authors their characters breaching the dramatic irony or consistently refuses beyond reason to co-operate with their fellow writers to resolve raised issues may be excluded from participation in one or all of the storylines.
- Posting: Every writer who participates in a thread as part of the storyline will be expected to allow no longer than seventy-two hours elapse between their posts. If no posts from an involved writer and their characters are forthcoming within the 72 hours the absent writer's writing partners will be permitted and encouraged to post, for an extension to be permissible the absent writer must have made a post within this thread cautioning on absence or reduction in activity which shall permit them a maximum of 120-168 hours leave from posting within the storyline's threads but no more without being skipped to the discretion of the immediate co-writers. If at any point for whatever reason a writer no longer wishes to participate in a thread or the wider story please make sure to post here on this thread so that everybody can remain informed.
- Powergaming: Nobody on Chaos can compel a writer to kill/maim/injure one of their characters or otherwise write another individual's character for them without explicit consent. That said if your character acts like they know this and inexplicably survive events or situations that go beyond suspending a majority of your audience's disbelief you've probably crossed a line. Writers who have complaints regarding their characters in this regard should work with their peers to make edits which are acceptable to all parties however consistent refusal or continuous writing of content that is widely considered "Power-gaming" might result in the offending writer's exclusion from participation in one or all of the storylines.
