ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Cargo hauler: A good chunk of the ships hallways and insides were stripped and turned into cargo holds. Large elevators bring containers to the upper hull where they are removed throug large cargo hatches. The ships large size means it can carry large quantities of cargo.
  • Speed: When the vessel was stripped of some of its armament and insides, it lost hundreds of tons of weight. This gave the vessel an extra boost in speed that surpassed its original design.
  • Pirate deterrent: Most pirates like easy prey. That merchant vessel that wandered to far off the shipping lane, the less than guarded freighter. Picking a fight with a heavily armed and armored battlecruiser just seems like a good way to get yourself killed, especially if you don't know that the vessel is now more freighter than destroyer.
WEAKNESSES
  • Firepower: Despite being a well armed battlecruiser, the old gator still lacks the raw firepower most battlecruisers currently in military operation have. This puts it at a disadvantage against some of the bigger vessels.
  • A little old: He's an original, an old classic from before the Gulag plague. And with that comes the maintenance problems. Sure, he has had all his weapons, defenses and engines upgraded, but there are still the linger problems. Lingering, money draining, problems....
DESCRIPTION
The Crocodile's Jaw was once a formidable battlecruiser. A beast that patrolled the very fringes of First Order space and sent dozens of vessels and countless crew members into the cold void of space. A vessel with a reputation that brought fear to those who opposed the First Order. An unstoppable force that was eventually brought to heel by the collapse of the First Order at the battle of Exegol.

What saved this vessel from destruction like the rest of the First Order fleet, was that it was never at the battle of Exegol. The Crocodile's Jaw had been to far out in fringe territories and was never called back. For weeks the vessel held its position, waiting for a signal that would never arrive. When the news about the destruction of the First Order reached the captains ears, the vessel finally moved. Eventually taking up orbit in a floating junkyard that orbited an unnamed moon in some far backwater system. They needed to remain unseen as they planned their next move.

For months the battlecruiser drifted there as supplies, fuel and crew began to leave the vessel. Eventually, the ship was abandoned and its power shutdown for the last time. Hundreds of years later, however, a group of pirates had discovered the vessel. Their plan was to lighten it down for a good raiding vessel. Unfortunately for them they had no idea what they were doing, and caused more problems than fixed them. More unfortunate was the fact that they were discovered, and wiped out, by Arsenian military forces. The old vessel was hauled by to Arsenia, where it became a side project for a few people at the Conglomerate of Owls, an expensive side project. After a while, it just sat and took up space and almost ended up being scrapped.

That was until Eve Throndsen, an ex First Order logistics officer found the ship sitting around dry dock. At this point the old boy was missing most of its teeth and his hide was a little rusty. Internal systems and other components had seen better days, a lot of the inside had been gutted for cargo carrying and hatches placed on his upper hull. But he could still get off the ground, with a bit of grumbling. Despite all that, Eve cut a deal with the Conglomerate. She did a few cargo runs for them, and she'd gain a new armed freighter for her group of ex First Order personal turned merchants.
