GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Media Name: The Chiss-Sith Concordance
  • Format: Official documents are written on flimsiplast, copies are held digitally on holobooks.
  • Distribution: Common
  • Length: Short
  • Description: A short military treaty declaring that the Chiss would retain absolute sovereignty over the worlds designated as Chiss space, that they should be able to determine the fate of such worlds by their own will. The treaty also details a mutual defense pact between the Sith Empire led by his majesty Emperor Zambrano and the Chiss Ascendancy loyalists commanded by Vice-Admiral Mitth'orn'eruod.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Authors: Darth Carnifex & Mitth'orn'eruod
  • Publisher: The Sith Empire & The Chiss Ascendancy
  • Reception:
    The Sith Empire
The news of the Concordance's ratification was met with much enthusiasm by the general populace of the Empire, who had been informed of the terrible atrocities being committed by the heretical Sith in the weeks leading up to the Empire's intervention in Chiss space. To the Sith government, the treaty opens up new avenues for Sith influence to further entrench in the Western regions of the galaxy and the Unknown Regions.

[*]The Chiss Ascendancy
  • Though proud, the Chiss was also a pragmatic people. There were many among the Chiss aristocracy that grumbled at the requirement for another foreign power to guarantee their independence, but they accepted the Sith Empire's declaration all the same. The Chiss' leadership had turned out to be corrupt and vacillating in regards to foreign manipulation by heretic Sith, and the Sith Empire had lent a hand to remove such corruption from the Ascendancy. In light of this, general acceptance was the Chiss people's reaction to the Concordance.

FORMAT INFORMATION
  • The original copies of the Concordance were recorded down on flimsiplast, which was kept inside of latching satchels emblazoned by the insignias of the Sith Empire on one side and the Chiss Ascendancy on the other.
  • The resulting copies were recorded onto holobooks, the cover of which displayed half of the Sith Empire's crest and half of the Chiss Ascendancy's crest side-by-side as if one symbol.
  • The above symbol was then used heavily in subsequent propaganda concerning the Chiss Civil War within Sith Space.

  • A Confederate punitive expedition is simultaneously launched at the shipyard world of Copero, intent on wiping out the heretical Sith threat before it could grow and thrive.
  • The battles of Csilla and Copero are tactical victories for the Sith Empire and the Confederacy of Independent Systems respectively, allowing both intergalactic powers to briefly occupy both worlds.
  • Control of Csilla and Copero is handed over to the Chiss Ascendancy, with the Sith Empire remaining behind to ratify the Chiss-Sith Concordance while the Confederacy returns to Confederate space.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

In the aftermath of the Chiss Civil War, the victorious powers of the Sith Empire and the reformed Chiss Ascendancy met in Csaplar to discuss their future relationship. With the threat of the heretical Sith handled and the errant Aristocra removed from power and placed under arrest, the Chiss Ascendancy could focus on rebuilding the damage wrought during the Civil War and strengthen their hold on the Unknown Regions.

Grateful for the Sith Empire's aid in retaking Csilla, the Ascendancy formulated a military treaty with the Sith that would ensure their sovereignty and establish strong ties between Csilla and Bastion.

The treaty, known as the Chiss-Sith Concordance, was signed and ratified the same day and put into effect immediately.
