"Master Kassogtha, I really think the time has come for us to embrace a
new chapter in the history of the Jedi Order. Our physical archives, though rich in knowledge, have limitations. We face threats, both external and internal, that put this invaluable repository at risk. I'm proposing the creation of a digital repository that goes beyond the confines of a physical archive..."
― Master Romi Jade

The Archive Nexus, also referred to simply as the Jedi Archives, was the Jedi Order's digital repository of knowledge on Kiva, a vast and secure cloud-based server that stores the collective knowledge of the Jedi Order. This digital repository, serves as the modern equivalent of the Jedi archives, accessible to Jedi and scholars across the galaxy. Inside the Archive Nexus, incredible amounts of data are stored electronically and holographically, and it leverages advanced encryption and AI-driven indexing to organize and safeguard the wealth of knowledge, teachings, histories, and insights gathered by the Jedi. Instead of being present in a physical location, the server which is located on Kiva, allows users to access information remotely from anywhere through holo-terminals, immersive virtual reality environments, electro-tattoos, etc, whether it be for quickly storing and collecting knowledge, personal curiosity, studying for tests, or preparing for assignments.

Jedi Master Romi Jade came up with this concept as a response to the raiding and destruction of physical Jedi-centric locations across the galaxy. She recognized that, when it came to the process of collecting and disseminating information and lore specifically, that there needed to be strides made in that realm to protect it and prevent the continuous loss of Jedi history and teachings. She approached New Jedi Order Councilor and Chief Librarian Kassogtha Cthylla Kassogtha Cthylla with the concept, and the two of them further developed the idea, with Master Cthylla suggesting the location of the planet -- Kiva, a uninhabited and isolated world with a dark history
Jade worked with the Jedi Artisans to select construction materials, and develop the build out. She commissioned as well, while the Nexus was being built on Kiva, a copy and back up that would be stored in a safe house on Nar Shaddaa. It is known that the over abundance of life on Nar Shaddaa, fueled by greed, desperation, anger and many other things, masks individuals ability to pin point or sense specifically through the Force.
By pioneering and spearheading a project like this, Jade and Cthylla promoted the coordination and collaboration of multiple Jedi, and aimed to foster unity and accessibility among the Order. The complexity of the Nexus' deployment encouraged precision and accuracy in Jedi collecting and recalling knowledge, and sharing insights and strengths.

By tapping into ancient mysticism while embracing modern strategies, the Archive Nexus would serve as a testament to the Order's adaptability and resilience, ensuring that the Jedi's commitment to safeguarding peace and documenting history endured.
