Tatooine Slave Auction

Zenva turned toward the young man who had out bid her. Anger rushed through her.

'The nerve of that little chit.'

She stayed that way, yellow-red eyes fixed on the youth and his company. She spoke again to her nephew, "Orluk. Tell Renesri to fall back. Then bid."

The large Zabrak nodded again. He called out to his sister in their mother tongue. In an instant Renesri vanished into the crowd, a spector among shadows. In moments she emerged behind the crowd retrieving her Doomhammer rifle and continuing away in search of a viable over watch position.

Before the brute could bid again some one interrupted the entire event. Zenva pushed past her nephew calling out in Basic, "Go home Jedi! Before you get yourself in trouble."

How quickly things can change when a new actor enters the stage... With the appearance of a rather threatening looking Twi'lek, most of the crowd visibly tensed. Already some started to leave. Unsurprisingly... the robed woman was not among those fleeing. This was something she would see out until the end. When she had 'stumbled upon' the auction she hadn't had a goal in mind. Once the first girl for sale showed up she had decided to try and get her to safety. Now that a powerful force user was seemingly threatening everyone here...

What was there for her to do but watch?

Of course. It was a simple thing, really. The young girl at the front had fallen to her knees. Poor thing was terrified. There was definitely one thing that the woman could do. She reached out with the force, just like the newcomer had, and tried to calm the girl. "I am Erith. You will be alright, I promise you this." With that she did her best to project peaceful emotions. Hope. Happiness. Maybe she could at least help the lass relax.

Fletcher sensed another presence in the Force, and it didn't take long for the user to reveal themselves. The woman appeared to be a Sith. Though Siths were the enemy of the Jedi, now wasn't the time to start a fight. Not when there was a young girl's life on the line.

After watching the small girl collapse on the stage, he pushed through the crowds and crouched down in front of the girl. "Don't worry, I'm here to help you." he said reassuringly as he put a hand on the girl's shoulder. "Can you walk? Can you see?" he asked, suddenly noticing the girl's face.

Cadan saw the women approach, he brought his left arm up, on which his CZ Wrist-Mounted Flame Projector was pointing at her, wrist down, he let his Raven Gauss Rifle hang at his side. Upon seeing the saber and hearing the words "Then you will cease this sale immediately and find yourselves a very dark hole to hide in."

His CZ Wrist-Mounted Flame Projector would be pointed at Anaya "I don't think so, you red headed tail head."
Cadan would uses his right hand to press a small button located on the Flame Projector. A small trail of gas, left the nozzles of the Flamer Projector which turned into flames. The flames leaped and twirled in a fiery dance towards Anaya, in an attempt to set her alight.

Once the Flame Projector was finished with it's fiery vomit. Cadan would roll back, and draw his Raven Gauss Rifle.

Rhain would be calmed, or as calm as a slave can be near an outbreaking fight with Sith, Jedi and mercanaries, her face would raise to look towards [member="Fletcher Lorcan"] and would attempt to speak, but her voice would fail her and the fear would once again take over. Only known to those that have learnt of her species, would understand the fear that is running through her body at the current time, simply put she could only see the aura's of people's connection to the force and with the amount of force users in the area and her lack of experience or fine tuning of the force sight, everything was overwhelming for the child.

In the back a hooded figure had remained seated as if biding it’s time. A former slave looking to act against the biggest blight upon the face of the galaxy. Bids had come and bids had passed but the stranger had remained quiet, she always did. She had a plan ready; a plan which had been laid out over the last few weeks since she had heard of the auction but something held her back.

Doubt and fear. While usually something she thrived off of this wasn’t her usual type of fear. Fear of messing up, fear of being forced to relive her past. It was for these reasons that Sena Lassiter had remained in her seat like a coward.

But she didn’t have to act. Her plan was thwarted, but not necessarily for the worse as [member="Anaya Fen"] took to the stage. For a second the acolyte’s eyes jittered before she came to the only obvious conclusion: She had to help out.

Dropping her own cloak she too approached the stage and the ‘crazed’ twi’lek. A quiet nod in approval, a signal for her enemy’s enemy that she was indeed on her side.

The fight erupted, Sena found herself blindsided. This was not according to plan, this was not how she wanted this to go down, if at all. Things were already getting physical, why was it that nobody appreciated a few simple and honest-to-god backstabs anymore?

Noah sighed as he sat in the back of the room. His custom LL-30's holstered on his thighs while his custom WESTAR-35 Carbine was holstered with a sling slung over his back. He had intended on either buying the slave and setting her free or by killing the person who did and then setting her free. But now there was a Sith or just a force-user with a red lightsaber who was threatening everybody in the room, of course Noah didn't need to worry about his real identity being discovered with his mask on, so for now he hung back and waited to see what would happen.

A swirl of magics curled through the air, at least... it would seem like magic for the unassumed and the irrelevant. But truth to be told it wasn't magic, just as a spaceship cruising through space wasn't alchemy and a young girl falling in love for the first time wasn't mystical.

It was simply that one fraction of a thousandeth chance that became reality by sheer force of belligerent will and audacious aspirations.

This all came together in the sudden presence of a single entity somewhere at the back of the room.

Said presence coughed a little bit.

'Excuse m- oh.'

It seemed these slavers were not the smart sort, but that was ok. An unseen force suddenly attempted to wrap itself around flamethrower-guy.

It would prevent him from rolling away from what was coming.

Cadan's attempt to roll back, would be stop by some 'magical' force. He'd still manage to draw his Raven Gauss Rifle.
"Snarking Jed's!" He'd shout out as he is wrapped by this 'force'.

Anaya ripped up part of the stage with the force and brought it before her as the flames spat in her direction, they hit the makeshift shield and flared outwards, not touching the lethan. She heard the Jedi approach the slave girl behind her and gave a derisive snort. "She's miraluka, she sees with the force. Get her out of here, Jedi."

As the flames stopped, Anaya cast the smoldering sheild into the direction of the crowd, those who watched the crime were as bad if not worse than those who committed it. She caught the eye and small nod of an ally, they could exchange details later. Now, now Anaya's anger had reached its peak, now all she wanted to do was destroy what was around her.

Starting with the slaver.

A smile curved Anaya's lips. "Ah, my dear slaver, I am most definitely not a Jedi." She extended her fingers, smile turning into a snarl as lightning leapt from her fingers to envelop the man pinned by her lover.

"Stay here, you'll be safe soon." he said to the girl before standing up and approaching the side of the two Sith. Though not attacking the pair, he drew his lightsaber, his main focus being on [member="Cadan Tazi"]. The Padawan held the lightsaber, ready to attack rather than to defend. "No." he said stubbornly to [member="Anaya Fen"]. He wasn't going to let anyone tell him what to do, especially not a Sith.

It was hard to tell who was on each side through the chaotic mess that seemed to unfold before them. He was willing to kill for this slave, as much as he didn't want to be.

Upon being struck by the lighting, Cadan's muscles would constrict. His fingers clenching the trigger. The Raven Gauss Rifle would fire, the heavy, hexagonal, Tungsten bullets, would travel towards the Anaya and would continue to be shot in that direction while she electrocuted him.

"You-- blasted Hutt-- Spawn!" Cadan would scream out as he was being tortured.

He'd begin to thrash about, attempting to break the hold of the force. Continuing his barrage of bullets all the while.

"Bloodeh sand rats-" his lips tighten into a scowl in a stiff expression of anger. “-open fire!” He scowls spit and other debri leaving his mouth in bullets. The round bulbs of his finger's clench around the butt of his Sonic pistol, aiming at Anaya Fen, the rings of sound convulsing and expanding with force directing the assault towards her.
Intermittent bursts of artificial white light wrack his data-pad, a sequence of numbers lighting up on the florescent green screen, his hand moving deftly across the metallic keys with an audible groan of static. "Thraxis bring the ship around we've got hostiles." he'd spit before dis-activating the open com. "Why did it have to be my slave auction, there's five next door and its legal here."

The second the slave had seemed to stabilize, Erith had started moving. Looking like she was part of the crowd of buyers was not going to help her in this situation. If anything it would get her hurt. So the woman threw back her shawl and pulled out her Dissuader KD-30 blasters. What? She had come prepared! While moving towards the front of the stage she pointed her blasters at the slavers- one at [member="Cadan Tazi"], the other at [member="Flannigan Mcnash"]. Both cartridges were emptied from the gunslinger's guns within a few seconds. By the time that was over she was kneeling besides the padawan, who was, apparently, disobeying orders. Understandable. No one here was really his boss.

"One of us has to get her to safety. She can't stay here- look, she's being overwhelmed. Can you get her out without getting hit?" Erith asked [member="Fletcher Lorcan"], glancing at [member="Rhain"] as she did. All the while an angry Sith Lord was practically tearing the whole place apart... collateral damage was imminent. They had to keep moving.

With a quick glance he sees the sith lord pulling out her lightsaber he immediately reacts by Lifting up his Valken 38 blaster rife
(smiles) he aims down his scope pulling the trigger with a red flash at the end of the rife sending a sharp and fast blaster projectile towards Anaya.

Thraxis would jump out of his seat, running to the bridge with the greatest haste, not hesitating to follow his commands, "Bringing it around now captain!" he would say, his eyes becoming engrossed in malicious joy, his intent overflowing. "Captain, hold on, it will take me a while to get the ship over there!" he would say, grinding his teeth since he could not get involved quick enough.

The auction had changed from a somewhat civilised event to chaos in a matter of moments he saw the Sith with Fletcher taking an aggressive stance, ready to fight he rushed to the stage and looked to the head of the Jackals. He grinned to the guy as he grabbed to slave and whispered in her ear in a calm and welcoming tone. "Come with me if you wish to live. We need to escape in the confusion." He whispeted as he turned to Flannigan and called.

"32,000 creds it is then! Well I'll be on my way, pay you later!" He shouted as he attempted to lead Rhain off the stage and to safety away from the violence that was likely to ensue swiftly. He looked around to see if there was anyone who could own a ship or take her away from the danger soon.

Her teeth gritted and for each passing second came the sound of Sena’s boots firmly hitting the ground. Her saber was finally withdrawn from her belt and with a snapping hiss an orange blade erupted from the tiny handle. She was in no way a strong woman but when anger got to her, true anger, then she always seemed to find a way.

“Drop the weapon!” A crazed yell as she pointed her saber at [member="Flannigan Mcnash"]. “NOW!”

If he only knew all the kinds of crazy she could become, the type of mad woman she was deep down, then he’d better take the hint.

Rhain would of been in too much shock, or in such an overwhelming state of mind that [member="Yuroic Xeraic"] 's statement slipped by her, the force was too conflicted and everything was throbbing as she attempted to make sense, the child didn't know what to do and continued to remain in a fetal position, with whimpering sounds of fear.

Too long had it been since booted feet met the hot, arid sand of Tatooine. There was always a bit of excitement here - be it podraces, drug runs, smuggling jobs, mercenary work, the odd bounty, and even slave auctions. While Xalus tended to stray away from the latter, it was always worth tromping on by to see what kind of exotic species those talented hunters might've caught. He didn't dislike slavers for just doing their job, so he hoped that when a bounty would be made on them that they would understand that he was just doing his job too.

<<Attention: Disturbance in Sector Three, near the auction houses. Identified Force sensitives.>>

The HUD blipped with the location of one of his DRK-1 Probe droids. A direct visual feed from the bot's central photoreceptor bore numerous treats to his eye. Lightsabers galore, flamethrowers, and the startled outcry of fleeing civilians. Xalus glanced around, silently bidding these droids in this marvelous shop adieu. He made a mental note of stowing away the shop's name for later use, but he had bigger things to do now.
