Tatooine Slave Auction

Being in the awkward position he was in (stuck between an 'imaginary force and many a angry force wielder) only a few bullets would get him. At first the armor would take the shots, but as the borless acid leaked through, Cadan would scream even louder.

The smell of both melting metal, flesh and bone would fill the air. A hole could be seen in the top part of Cadan's shoulder, the acid slowly eating his flesh away. Another in his just under his sternum, more holes could be seen eating their way into Cadan's legs.

The barrage of 60 shells from his Raven Gauss Rifle would cease as the clip was emptied. most directed at Anaya.

The ship would finally arrive, the ship would have finally arrived, the speakers would roar, "Put your weapons on the- screw it! IM GOING TO DESTROY YOU ALL!" he would say, his sentence ending with a menacing glee, a spray of lasers, would start aiming at everything with a lightsaber in hand, large swamps of blasts would radiate from the barrels, enough to create a covering fire while the boarding ramp lowered, Thraxis would stand on it the guns aiming frantically, "Quick Captain, the thing is on auto!" he would say, motioning them to get on while he started to shot as many lasers as he could from his twin blasters.

After watching [member="Sena Lassiter"] threaten [member="Flannigan Mcnash"], Fletcher pointed his lightsaber at [member="Cadan Tazi"], the plasma blade only inches away from the alien's throat. The Padawan remained calm but he stared coldly at the alien. "Drop your weapons." he commanded, his hand not wavering from the creature's throat.

Scene
The room would begin to fall apart, lazier and plasma discharge ebbing off the walls in round craters, the ship causing the final and fatal blow to the structures supports. There's little time to escape, but a chance.
Character
"Agh-" he'd look down towards his lower abdomen freshly punctured wounds dotting his chest, his eyes widen and his mouth hangs ajar, stammering out his next sentence in shock. "-I've been shot." his knee's begin to buckle and he falls to the floor in a 'thud' his hand strangling out towards the exit.

There was, perhaps, one real option left: Grab [member="Rhain"] and run. Everything was coming down around those gathered, crashing into the ground, all while stray blaster bolts bounced off what remained of walls.

Yeah, there wasn't much Erith could do.

"Trust me, please." She told the slave before discarding her guns, bending down, and trying to pick the girl up. It wouldn't be to hard of a task unless she struggled. Epicanthix were deceptively strong.

Hopefully with a damsel in her arms the woman tried to navigate to whatever exits might be left.

Anaya's saber flashed, batting aside the large slugs heading her way, ceasing her assault with lightning. She hated slugs, almost as much as she hated slavers. Her first encounter with them she had been an apprentice and her only saving grace had been her Empress. She'd made a point, since taking three to her chest and stomach, never to miss one again. So she moved as a blur the few the slipped past her only grazing her skin and adding fuel to her already burning anger.

The place had become chaotic as the gunship entered the scene, its guns ripping through the ceiling and walls. It was time to go. She let the Jedi move for the kill and grabbed [member="Sena Lassiter"] by the arm. "Time to go." she yelled over the din, dragging the acolyte willing or unwilling towards a fresh hole made by the gunship. She cast a glance over her shoulder to make sure, [member="Jared Ovmar"] was with them.

Rhain's body wouldn't resist [member="Erith Hallawin"] from picking her up, it was obvious she was too frightened and wanting to be somewhere else, that she seemed to be shutting the world out around her, which is ironic for someone to be actively trying who is born without eyes. As she is carried away, Erith would hear her mumbling soft words and if listened in hard enough, would be native words of a well known lullaby that one can only assume was sung to her back at her homeworld.

The gunship fired upon the stage and Yuroic growled, the slave refused to move. He had to act fast, he picked her up and ran to the docking station with her in his arms. However it seemed Erith had come to that conclusion before him. He followed them as they ran off attempting to protect the girl.

"Hey, hey. No need to be upset, Im here to protect you, Im not going to harm you. Now you okay?" He asked as he spoke keeping up with Erith as she ran, away from the fighting and the Jedi and Sith, it was just him and her as he looked carefully into her eyes. He didn't care whether she became a Jedi or Sith just because she was Force Sensitive, it mattered that she was out of harm's way first and it seemed clear to him that both Jedi and Sith could cause enough harm, in the name of protection.

While killing and looting some slavers was all and well, there were bigger things afoot besides jumping right into the action. The Gen'Dai had rocketed through the little market as quietly as he could, his armor's stealth system already activated just as his yellow eyes came to rest upon the collapsing form of the auctioneer's building. The probe droid was still floating around, providing visuals to the noises that were happening.

"Hmph."

A blue lightsaber caught his attention in the feed and information of a previous posting reconciled his thoughts on the matter. There was profit to be made and with the rest of the goon squadron and their squabbling, red-bladed opponents busy, Xalus just needed to swoop right in.

"Orluk out now!" Zenva and her clansman feel away quickly and quietly. The large male pushing terrified civilians out of his way. Zenva simply pulled her trench coat closed and turned away. She keyed the comm built into her amber coloured 'Shadez' as she put them on.

"Renesri, be ready to provide covering fire. We're leaving."

-Departs with out firing a shot. Unless provoked-

Fletcher spun away from [member="Cadan Tazi"], deciding not to kill the alien since the Jedi wouldn't appreciate it. The Padawan kept his lightsaber out and searched for Yuroic. He wiped the beads of sweat from his forehead and quickly jogged away from the slavers. He was overwhelmed with the heat and physical exertion.

@Xalus

Cadan would collapse to the ground as he is left by the Sith. "Just leave." He'd say to Fletcher.
Cadan would lay there, a broken man. This was just meant to be a simple sale. Sell the girl, and leave. Tatooine was one place that they could go to safely sell slaves, but it would appear not everyone on the blasted planet felt that way. He'd lay there watching everyone flee the buidling. He'd heared Flannigan say something about being shot, he attempted to find him.

Cadan would bring his wrist to his mouth and sluggishly press a button opening up his com. "Boy's, me and the Cap are hit. Time spent with you was better than my time with those Twi'lek girls." He'd smile slightly, his head fell on his wrist the com still open, his large, red, eyes would shut, as the building begins to collapse.

Terrain Change
Suddenly, the lights swung violently from the ceiling. Cracks appeared from the ground beneath. Fear and panic ensued as the ground shook up and down, as if the entire place suddenly fell from the sky and struck the earth with mighty impact. All of them scrambled up to their feet but most immediately lost balance and were reduced to crawling as they fled outdoors.
Ship and Jackals 'escape'
The engines smouldering to life in a contained burst of energy, sparks dissipating in swatches of smoke, swathes of stainless steel, sleek black rods. And the glare of fluorescent tube lighting suspended from steel rafters, floor to ceiling the wall began to extend out and towards the the ground, the gang way now open. Entering it the crew would be crawling and making their way in a general state of disrepair, they could be stopped from leaving or can be interacted with.
Character
His body shaking violently in the arms of another crew member before going limp, his eye's rolling in their sockets widening with the pain of shrapnel and debri, screaming in what would seem a long and weary moan, cutting on the vocal cords until slowly fading out with their use.

Soft padding sounds were the only signs of life that Xalus was even there. Yellow eyes darted around within his helmet, the targeting sensors analyzing the various lifeforms within the auctioneer's building. After a brief moment of looking around for anything of worthy, the groan of the building's supports along with the flames tearing apart the walls deterred forward movement. Except the cries and moans of men bearing an emblem he recognized.

Jackals.

For the most part, they all seemed to be either too wounded to save or already dead. Not worth his time, money, or attention.

Or were they?

Xalus had barely a second to consider things as the building began to collapse, eyeing a very damaged Duros. Breathing was minimal and his eyes had already closed, but that didn't stop the Gen'Dai from sprinting forward to pull the being onto his shoulders and high tail it out of there. It might've looked a little funny to see (pun) an invisible beast toting a wounded or dead man. Probably looked like he was floating.

Whatever. Xalus escaped by the hairs on his chinny chin chin, quickly depositing the Jackal onto the sandy ground nearby. That detour had probably costed him time. Luckily, his probe droid was still in pursuit of [member="Fletcher Lorcan"].

Cadan felt the man pick him up, but was on the brink of falling into the dark abyss of unconsciousness. "Let the dreamdust take me." Cadan would whisper as his rescuer carried him away, before he once again fell unconscious.

Fletcher turned and sprinted away from the chaos behind him and attempted to find Yuroic and the slave girl. He deactivated his lightsaber and put it back in his belt. The Padawan urged himself to run faster but the sheer heat was preventing him from doing so. At least through all the chaos, the girl was safe.

It didn't seem like he would need the stealth field anytime soon anyways. Better save some energy and go green for a bit while he was at it. Xalus was sprinting across the town in pursuit of that Jedi Padawan, with his infamous lightsaber hanging at his side. With that out, it would be unmistakable to find him anywhere in this damned city. Better yet, the DRK-1 was still in hot pursuit from above, providing aerial details and escape route predictions via the HUD.

"Call in the others," his raspy voice commanded of the DRK-1. "Don't lose him."

The Cerberus, his vessel, was housed outside of town and was landed near the flat plains of the Dune Sea. While it was a hulk of a thing to touchdown with it being four hundred meters long, he had enough crew to staff and defend it from any unwanted guests or intruders. Now, the armed freighter opened up a valve and being deploying about another half dozen probe droids. This boy was worth half a million credits and Xalus would be damned if he let him slip away.

[member="Fletcher Lorcan"]

Fletcher stopped to catch his breath, not being able to find the others. He used the Force to sense out other the life forms and carried on walking through the streets, to no avail. The Padawan stopped, deciding it was safe now, though he was all too trusting. He chose not to dwell on it. The girl was safe but he wasn't. He had made it clear he was a Jedi by now.
He wasn't aware of the droids persuing him.
