GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: Task Force Azumi
  • Affiliation: New Imperial Order, Captain Vitani Azumi
  • Classification: Security
  • Description: Task Force Azumi is composed of both new recruits and experienced officers transferred from Mygeeto following the aftermath of the Third Imperial Civil War. They are capable Imperial loyalists. Many of them are in their early and late twenties. There is a strong sense of comradery amongst them, but a noticeable disconnect towards the Captain.
COMBAT INFORMATION:
  • Unit Size: Small <12
  • Unit Availability: Uncommon
  • Unit Experience: Trained
  • Equipment:
Armor [x] [x] [x] [x]
Melee: [x] [x]
Explosives: [x] [x] [
x]
Small Arms: [x] [
x] [x]
Misc. Equipment: [x]
Support Craft: [x]

  • Combat Function: Azumi’s Task Force is essentially a small team of bodyguards. They provide additional defence to Cpt. Azumi in the case of direct attacks. They are generally not involved in large scale army operations and instead function as a supplement to specific missions that require the Captain’s attention.
Strengths:
  • Close Quarters Combat: Task Force Azumi includes a number of specialist officers with a decent level of experience in melee combat, typically against lightsaber wielders.
  • Agility: The nature of the task force allows for quick and agile deployment. Azumi’s troops are well trained and physically fit

Weaknesses:
  • Inexperienced: The soldiers are a mixture of new academy graduates and members of Mygeeto’s former planetary defence force. They are fresh and optimistic, but lacking in high stakes combat experience.
  • Small: Their numbers are considerably small, making them inefficient for large scale warfare.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The initial members of Azumi’s team were previously stationed on Mygeeto as part of their planetary defence force, under the rule of the Sith Empire. After the New Imperial Order's invasion, Azumi and her surviving comrades were recomissioned. They now form Task Force Azumi, alongside Imperial Academy recruits.

KEY MEMBERS

Vrar'ebol'sora - Chiss - 29

Sora is an experienced duelist. She acts as the Captain's personal bodyguard. Sora is cold and unforgiving - even more so than Azumi. She is cybernetically augmented with an advanced sensory neural implant. Sora's origins are unknown prior to her liberation from the Sith Empire, but she is likely the result of psychological experimentation. As a result, she lacks personality and fails to process pain - both physically and emotionally. Sora's combat ability is equivalent to the previous Galactic Empire's Purge Troopers.

Den Lister (FN-988) - Human - 20
988 is a young Imperial pilot. He has a decent track record as a starfighter pilot and does not trust droids.

Elias Ward - Human - 25
Ward is made of pure muscle. He is a heavy weapons specialist and all round fun guy. Ward has a poor personal relationship to Cpt. Azumi, but makes up for it with his brute strength. Ward commands the small group of infantry within the task force. Alongside Sora, Ward is one of the more experienced members of Azumi's personal squadron. Ward was recomissioned at the formation of the New Imperial Order, as part of the reconsituted 501st Legion.

Masox Kamak - Cathar - 23
Kamak served as a scout trooper within the Sith Empire. He narrowly avoided death on Mygeeto and now commands the reconnaissance operations within Azumi's Task Force. He primarily works alone, alongside his seeker droid.

My name is Judah Lesan and I am here to review your sub!

For full transparency I am still in training so this submission will need a second review before being fully approved. Thank you for your patience.

Before we get started, under permissions you have said “See NIO Codex.” Unfortunately I do not have access to the NIO codex to verify whether you actually have permission to use these items, nor do I even know what it is. There are two standard rules which apply here:

Factory Submissions that are included in Codex Submissions must conform to the limits of production and affiliation set forward in the Factory. If an item listed was created by another member, or is listed as "Closed Market" you will be required to include proof of purchase/permission by the original submitter for the equipment, or you will need to choose something else. No exceptions.

The second which applies here:

Do not place links in submissions to threads that are within the Archives or anywhere that cannot always be publicly viewed. (Ex. Faction Groups/Google Docs/Etc)

I am going to need you to fix your permissions here before reviewing your sub. Just as a reminder anything that is closed market and not affiliated with NIO in the submission itself will need a purchase agreement or permission from the original submitter.

Once we get this taken care of we’ll get things underway! Go ahead and tag me when you are all set!
