With its deviation in aesthetic and structure from the Sith Empire, the New Imperial Order necessitated a flight suit which was integrated into the HUD systems and other computing systems utilized by the New Imperial Order while utilizing systems which protected the wearer against environmental hazards (primarily fire and heat based weapons) as well as plasma burns and explosions while sacrificing the retention systems and weaves utilized in more combat centered armors to forsake a disruption and lightsaber protection. Prefering a lighter weight, the NIO's TIE pilot suit is verastile in that it is able to up-linked and utilized with any measure of New Imperial vessels.
