Surprise!

Hawk blushed a little. He swings his legs over the bed. He uses the force to bring the towel over to him. It was a good thing he hadn't tried to kiss her yet. He wasn't going for a one night stand anymore. He wanted the real thing. He stands and wraps the towel around his waist.

"Sorry about that. I got confused. It won't happen again unless you want it too." Why he did he add that. "Anyways good night again." He exits her room by going through the bathroom back into his room. He wanted to hit his head against the wall.

Leori didn't say anything but "Good night."

It wasn't until the door closed once more that turned around and got back on the bed. She thought she must have been sending mixed messages or something. Why else would he be naked in her room? She wasn't buying that it was an accident. She would have to be more careful in future interactions.

The Jedi Master would meditate on it. Now.

Hawk climb into his own bed. He had a hard time falling asleep. He kept tossing and turning. Just couldnt get Leori out of his mind. The smell of her. The gracefully way they danced together. He punches his pillow and finally fell asleep.

He slept only for a few hours before his stomach woke him up. He pulls on a pair of pants and grab a shirt. He puts it on as he walks barefooted to the gallery. He needed caf. He switches it on.

Leori was still meditating and in a state of rest. There she would remain either until they dropped out of hyperspace, or until Hawk called for her. It was the most rest she'd gotten in a long time, and she was going to take every moment she could.

((feel free to skip to arriving))

4 hours later Kamikaze was about to exit hyperspace. "Leori time to wake up." He called to her over the intercom from the cockpit. He watches the countdown. Once it hits zero, he puts the levers back. The stars streaking by the viewport slow down. The planet of Ord Mantel looms.

They weren't going there. He sets course for the space station orbiting the planet known as Jubilee Wheel. Hawk just calls it the Wheel. It was aptly named it looked like a wheel.

Leori blinked upon hearing her name over the intercom. She got up off the bed and wandered into the refresher. Inside, with both doors closed, she took off her clothes and got into the shower. It would be brief, but she'd be clean and fresher. In retrospect, she should have located the towels first. So she stepped out of the shower dripping wet and started digging around for a towel.

A few minutes later, she went back into the purple room wrapped in a towel and carrying her dirty clothes. She dropped them on top of the bed and picked up her bag from where Hawk had dropped it hours before. Quickly she dressed and packed away the dirty clothes. And she was off toward the cockpit. They were already out of hyperspace, but they were still moving.

She joined Hawk in the cockpit where she could see the station. It must have been their destination. "So that's the wheel?"

"Morning. Yeah that it. I have caf in the galley if you need it." He takes a sip of his caf. He place the mug down. "We should be arriving soon." Hawk was startng to have doubts about coming here. "This might have been a bad idea. Delvin could have a welcoming party waiting for us." He had changed the ship I'd to one that Delvin didn't know.

Leori shook her head. "No thank you, I'm fine." She kept looking out at the station. It wasn't until he spoke again that she turned toward him. "Listen to the Force. If there is danger, you will know and I will know."

She sighed. "It may be difficult, but I am confident that we'll come to a resolution."

He hoped that Leori was right. He got authorization to land his ship in the hanger bay after paying a small bribe. "It starts already." He mutters. He knew he could have used the force to mind trick them. It just didn't feel right to do that. Beside he wants to keep his force ability quiet. He liked having that ace in the hole.

The ship lands in docking bay 1138. No was there to greet them. He stands and double checks his blaster and lightsaber. The saber was tucked into his jacket. The blaster was strapped to his right thigh.

"Let's go." He leads her through the ship and down the ramp.

Leori was always armed, though it was hardly evident to look at her. And, she was far more dangerous using the Force than her lightsaber. They had landed in hanger bay and it was time to go. She got up from the co-pilot's chair and followed Hawk through the ship to the ramp.

The two exited the ship and were not greeted by anyone. That was suspicious, but she had no sense of danger for the moment, so she followed quietly. Leori wouldn't speak until it was absolutely necessary to do so. There were times for talk, and times for quiet. She'd learned the differences many times over the years.

He wasn't too surprised that no one was there to greet them. Devlin always liked people coming to him. "We will have to go to him. I know where he likes to hang out." Hawk makes sure that Kamikaze is locked down before leading them through the station. He was taking them to the casino that Devlin owns. It was Devil's paradise. Thst was where the old man liked to do business in one of the many back rooms .

The Devil's paradise was busy tonight. People were spilling out into the hallways. He grins at a few people he knew. He nudge Leori. "Look who is at the door." Their old friend Snake was guarding the door to the casino.

Leori nodded to him. She figured that was going to be the case. The two continued to a casino called the Devil's Paradise. It was very crowded. Leori tensed, and widened the span of her senses. She didn't sense any danger, or threatening presences.

Hawk nudged her, and she looked over. Snake was standing there. Wouldn't that be fun....

When they reached the door, she stood in front of him with her hands on her hips, still letting Hawk do the talking.

"Hi Snake." Hawk says with a little smirk. It amused his to see Snake do a double take. "Birdie you have big balls coming here." Hawk nods. "I want an audience with the old man." Snake smirks. He was about to reply when a hand touched his shoulder.

Devilin had been following their movement through the security cameras. Hawk had come out of hiding. He had heard about Snake encounter with the Jedi woman.

"Hello Hawk." Devilin said in a deep voice as he embraced Hawk. Hawk was taken back by the embraced. He wasn't here for a smuggler reunion. Devilin hadn't changed much since the last time Hawk had seen him. Devlin's brown hair had a bit of a silver at the temple giving him a distinguish look.

After greeting Hawk, he turned his attention to the lovely woman. "Hello. I am Devilin. You may call me Dev."

@[member="Hawk Solo"]

There was but a brief interaction with Snake, before they were joined by Devilin. She narrowed her eyes slightly at the embrace between the two, considering he'd hired some people to kill Hawk. But, she said nothing until he introduced himself to her.

"Devilin," she repeated. "Dev," she repeated. "Hello."

Leori was very aware of the fact that she'd not given her name or rank. She wanted to see where this was going, and the element of surprise was always an ace in the hole.

Dev arches an eyebrow. "A woman of mystery I like that." So the woman didn't want to give out her name. There were other ways to find it. He knew all he needed for now. He knew that she had force. Probably a Jedi Knight. No Sith would have allowed Snake to live

"Come, we will have our conversation in my office." Dev says. Hawk crosses his arms over his chest. "No, we can talk here. I know what goes on in your office." There was no way Hawk would go there.

Dev sighs. "Ahh Hawk that hurts. You don't trust me."

@[member="Hawk Solo"]

Leori was not even remotely charmed. Her expression remained neutral. It was good news for her that he underestimated her. There was a brief discussion as to where they would conduct the conversation, but they certainly would not be going to a less public venue.

"Should a man that you sent Bounty Hunters to kill, trust you?" It was a rhetorical question of course. "I certainly don't trust someone I've never met. Not even with my name, considering how I was introduced to your associates."

@[member="Leori Sheltrak"]

"Snake a bounty hunter." Dev started laughing. "Seriously Hawk I didn't realize you were so funny. They are more like hired thugs. Anyways I wanted them to send you a message. The message is you still owe me credits on the last run and loan to repair your bucket of bolts."

Hawk rolls his eyes. "No, Dev that wasn't the deal. I did that last run to pay off the loan." Dev nods. "Yes, that was the agreement. Unfortunately you didn't delivery the goods. I recall you dumped the load. So pay me my credits or go on another run. Your choice?"

@[member="Hawk Solo"]

Leori listened, unsure of what to make of this conversation. Why were they negotiating new terms, or would he even think they were negotiating new terms.

"We are not here to negotiate, Dev." Was all that she said.

@[member="Leori Sheltrak"]

"Really, my dear." Dev says turning his attention to Leori. "I am owed. I'm trying to be reasonable. I don't know what he told you my dear...but he is a liar and a con artist. I don't care if he knows how to use a saber. He will never be a true Jedi."

Hawk frowns slightly. He wasn't going to response to Dev's attack on his character. At one time, he was those things. Not anymore. "I don't owe you anything. You are mistaken." Hawk says using his force to influence Dev. He causal waves his hand.

Dev burst out laughing. "A Jedi mind trick. See he is no Jedi. Foolish boy."

@[member="Hawk Solo"]

Leori raised an eyebrow. This was getting out of hand now. And it wasn't at all amusing.

With the Force, she lifted Dev from the floor and up against the wall. She wasn't choking him, but she was gripping his neck to keep him in place and his hands busy.

"Listen up, Dev. I've heard enough. The argument is pointless, and thus should be dropped. If you can't come to an agreeable solution, I will be forced to intervene. Now, I'm going to have to insist that this matter be closed immediately."
