Discussion Stolen Futures - OOC thread for SJO and Darkwire collaboration

As Darkwire starts to spread its inconspicuous tendrils out through the galaxy, we've been cooking up some interesting partnerships with our neighbors and other Majors to drive some cool stories. This is the first result of those efforts! We'd like to thank the Silver Jedi staff (Caedyn Arenais | Kyra Perl Kyra Perl | Thurion Heavenshield Thurion Heavenshield | Acaadi Acaadi ) for their input and efforts in helping us to make this happen!

The completion of the Starbird Trade Spine gives a number of Core systems access to the southern systems once more since the Confederacy closed its borders. However, some worlds feel snubbed to not be included in the major byway. One of those worlds is the trading port of Cato Neimoidia. Protests have erupted over the lack of consideration in the new trade lane, but the real protest occurs behind the scenes. A few of the savvier corporate leaders of the planet gambled against their world's inclusion, and are reaping the profits from their intentionally-shorted investments. As no true scheme ever goes unpunished, Darkwire is enlisted by a mysterious source to break into the great vaults of Cato Neimoidia, looking to score credits, riches, and other valuables held within the crypts and banks. Meanwhile, a similarly cryptic message tips off the Silver Jedi to a plot to cripple the economy of Cato Neimoidia and that Darkwire may be behind it. Who will succeed first in their mission, Darkwire or the Silver Jedi? Or will they realize they're both being played against the other?

Darkwire will be posting the thread within the week. We'd love to use this OOC thread to gauge how many interested writers there are, a place to ask questions about the goings-on, and as a staging area for coordination once we get going or finding unfamiliar writing partners (aka new friends!). So! Talk among yourselves while the man behind the curtain throws a few more levers.
