GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Planet Name: Statera
  • Demonym: Staterians
  • Region: Wild Space
  • System Name: Statera System
  • System Features: The great Sun (The primary source of light during each rotation of the planet), 2 moons near Statera's orbit (one is farther than the other), Multiple clusters of Asteroid belts hang on the edge of the planet's system. The planet's rotation period is approximately 48 hours, with an orbital rotation of 429 planetary rotations.
  • Location: This planet's location is in the hex above Kynachi's. It within the North eastern corner of the Hex.
  • Major Imports: Before the Master of Insight, the Disciple's Master, left and requested the order not reach outsiders, setting the Disciples on a foreseen path. However, the Disciples have since agreed to reopen the port in the nearby city. This has opened basic resource trade including Durasteel, similarly durable materials for construction of armaments and buildings, consumables due to lack of crop yield, and even a larger potential amount of new recruits for the order. Resource shipments are more common, with individuals who wish to join the order being less common than any shipment.
  • Major Exports: The planet does not export any materials, due to the current state of the city's disrepair and economic downfall. However, a medium sized cavern spanning a couple miles below the surface holds a hidden deposit of Kyber Crystals, which the Master of Insight's order uses to construct their weapons.
  • Unexploited Resources: N/A
GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION
  • Gravity: Standard
  • Climate: Temperate
  • Primary Terrain: Grasslands, 1 major city with multiple smaller settlements, Limited Mountains, Oceans, Forests
  • Atmosphere: Type I
LOCATION INFORMATION
  • Capital City: Ekata City
  • Planetary Features: The planet is primarily a wild planet with a large forest spanning approximately one third of the planet's surface. Within this forested area is the City of Ekata, built by the planet's first inhabitants who were predominately Humanoid sentient races. Old ruins exist on the planet's surface, some in high disrepair, whilst the main fortress in the heart of the forest, near the city, was rebuilt by the Master of Insight, using a combination of force abilities, villager construction and the limited mechanical aid such as small hover ships for moving large material and supplies across construction areas. The Oceans of the planet are fairly vast, connecting the different areas of the planet's land based surface, with multiple streams, lakes and reservoirs cropping up across the grasslands and forests of the planet, which provide a natural water source for animals and inhabitants of the planet.

However, due to an anomaly that was sustained by a star within the planet's system, it reached a supernova state, which bathed the planet's northern pole with strange energy which has caused intense freezing cold, and devastating storms to occur across the surface of the planet, making some areas at times dangerous to any surface level inhabitants, or starships entering the area's atmosphere.
  • Major Locations:
    • Ekata City: This city is the primary location for a majority of the population on Statera. This includes multiple vendors, cantinas, starship ports and a multitude of residential areas. The city is primarily made out of a combination of pale and dark grey stone, with metal plating used as structural support for buildings, as well as defensive measures to reinforce buildings from weather or weapon based damage.
    • Space Port: The City's Space Port is large enough to fit approximately just over sixteen thousand starships of varying sizes, with enough room for large quantities of people, supplies and cargo. It is heavy in security by the Militia of the city, along with some representatives from the Order of the Burning Veil.
    • The Hollow Forest: This is the most prominent and largest of all the forests on the surface of Statera, having lasted since time immemorable. Each tree has a similar structure to the gigantic trees of Kashyyyk, some larger than others, but all being of a substantial size. This large expanse of forest is home to the many creatures of Statera, with some species seemingly having been brought to the planet some time ago. Because of this, the full list of creatures inhabiting or currently on the planet is unknown.
    • Sirus-Zorax Fortress: Often referred to as The Fortress of the Insightful one, by some of the commoner inhabitants. This large and expansive ruin turned into a highly fortified structure, was repaired by the Master of Insight, after he had appeared on the planet. It is unknown where the Master had come from, but his high skill in the force and extra skills gathered the trust and subsequent aid of the population of Ekata City. The fortress was once a location of an ancient ruin, marked in the city's history books as being the home of a highly skilled warrior who defended the city in its infancy. Since the Master of Insight constructed and repaired the fortress, it has since been turned into a primary headquarters and training area for the Order of the Burning Veil. This location has adequate space for over fifty thousand people, with a large spire and underground section. However, the former is regarded as off limits to those who are not the Master himself, or his Disciples which he trained before all others.
    • Northern Pole: The Northern Pole of the planet is a highly desolate area, transformed from its once arctic appearance, into a wasteland where nothing can survive. This area is ravaged by deadly storms, which can sometimes head southwards. These storms, called the Volatile Winds, are treated as, outside of any planetary destructive weapons, the most dangerous threat to the inhabitant's survival.
  • Force Nexus: The Force Nexus, which lies under the Sirus-Zorax Fortress, is a Neutral Force Nexus, which allows for both Dark Side and Light Side users to draw equal power from it. This was to fulfil the Master's wish of a stable order, without either side being the dominant side.
Intent: The intent for this Force Nexus being on this custom planet is to work with the backstory of a Faction that will be made by me. It is also tied into the Lore of both Eris Genen Zhenlian Eris Genen Zhenlian and the many NPCs that will be made. This includes the "Master of Insight", and the other 11 Disciples. It will also be included in the submission for the many recruits within the order.
Nexus Name: Crystal of True Statera
  • Nexus Alignment: Neutral
  • Size: Medium - The Force Nexus is housed far below the Fortress, with only the Master of Insight knowing of its true shape or appearance. This knowledge has not been passed onto the other Disciples.
  • Strength: Moderate - The strength of the Force Nexus has a moderate effect on the inhabitants of the Sirus-Zorax Fortress, with some mild effects even reaching the city's edge.
  • Accessibility: The Nexus has been hidden from all outside physical interference. This was a measure placed by the Master of Insight to make sure that the strength and balance of the Nexus is not compromised or used as a meditating area due to the highly potent and concentrated effects of the Nexus at close range. It is hidden in a secret deep cavern roughly 3 miles below the Fortress. The range of the Nexus is far enough to effect the surface and the surrounding area, but not to be of any direct interference with the inhabitants outside of aiding in Force Abilities such as Visions and meditations.
  • Effects: When in the direct presence of the Force Nexus, individuals will experience highly convincing illusions that are created to test them. They will often show the person's greatest fear, failure or even their greatest challenge, such as a powerful foe they cannot defeat, or a large monstrous creature blocking their path. The way past these illusions would depend on the individual. For the surface level of the Nexus' range, the land is saturated in a powerful aura, giving life to the forest and keeping it sustained from the many storms threatening it or the structures. People will experience a stronger connection to the Force, both in a spiritual sense and whilst utilizing force abilities. Basic combat Force Abilities such as Force Push, Force Lightning, and even a passive enhancement of a person's bodily endurance and speed are increased in their potency or strength. Due to this, the Order of the Burning Veil teaches that Balance of both body and spirit is the most powerful resource to manipulate the force in most ways.

POPULATION
  • Native Species: 3 Human races (Pijali, Chandrilan, and Genetian), Twi'lek
  • Immigrated Species: Togruta, Chiss (many immigrated and took refuge in recent history after the destruction of their home planet by the Brotherhood Of The MAW)
  • Population: Heavy - It is approximated that a rough total of 4.5 billion
  • Demographics: The population of Statera is 62% Human, 21% Twi'lek, 13% Togruta and 4% Chiss. though some believe that the Chiss and some of the other Non-Human races don't completely belong on the planet, however, this Xenophobia is very minute and hardly even noticed by the residents of the planet's city and Fortress.
  • Primary Languages: Galactic Basic, Togruti, Twi'leki, and Cheunh respectfully to each race, though languages other than Galactic Basic are used less than one would expect.
  • Culture: The culture of Statera is one of a simpler life. Those that live within the City tend to have a fairly calm day to day life, with daily tasks being done in a highly casual way. Whether it is building new houses, Reinforcing what is already standing, or even heading off to continue their training at the Sirus-Zorax Fortress, to learn under the twelve Disciples. Various activities exist on Statera which consist of, Farming, becoming a merchant, Joining the local Militia, or for those who are Force Sensitive, joining the Order of the Burning Veil. There is a limit on the notion of Sport, as most physical activities are preformed by either going about their day to day lives, training at any respectable organization such as the Order, or the Militia. It is considered a common practise to go hunting within the Forest and grasslands, which hold an abundance of animals which have been brought to the planet over the decades. This is how a majority of wares, consumables, and items are constructed, using nature itself to draw in resources and items of common and frequent need.
GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
  • Government: Democracy
  • Affiliation: This planet is not bound to any direct government such as the Galactic Alliance, or the coalition of multiple planets that form the Rimward Trade League. But rather, it holds an elected Council at the heart of the city, which is made of officially elected officials that can run for a seat if one is vacated. These people also confer with the Order of the Burning Veil, as they are a powerful organization that is based on the planet, acting as their unofficial protectors.
  • Wealth: High - The wealth of Statera has been sustained in a High point for a period of time. This was organized shortly after the Master of Insight created the Order of the Burning Veil. This was due to a mixture of an increased desire and implementation of a local militia to train individuals that took on the profession of Mercenary, and a large growth of mining in newly discovered ore and gem deposits. These have aided in the reinforcement of Ekata City, the Order of the Burning Veil's fortress, and an increased value of merchant products that travellers from off world might want or value highly.
  • Stability: Medium - Whilst the people of Statera and the city of Ekata are known to be a very easy going, peaceful people, the increase of knowledge about the many factions and armies that have been cropping up across the galaxy as some of the population on edge. Some divisions have occurred over the Council's members, the right to allow people from off world onto their planet, even down to the potential of evacuating Statera in search of a more peaceful corner of the galaxy. These doubts and ideas of Intergalactic Segregation and internal hostility has been washed down by the Governing Council. However, these are still doubts and beliefs that people still posses, so those from off world might be treated more negatively or passive aggressive than those from the planet or city.
  • Freedom & Oppression: With the Council dealing with the many projects for the City, Travellers entering and leaving the planet, the organization of the militia forces and the multiple operations to gather resources in an economic yet effective manner, the people live in a very free society. Whilst the use of illegal substance such as Spice and a vast majority of the Hallucinogens, certain dangerous creatures and flora, and even the restriction of massive military forces and to be inspected, isolated and tested before even being allowed to enter the City from the Space Port. This control of many illegal substances has allowed the level of crime within the city, from petty theft to small groups of thugs, all of which has been on the decrease for the last thirteen years.
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
  • Military: When it comes to a military presence, Statera has multiple forms of defences and counterattack bases tactics ready in case of a planet wide incursion. The City is equipped with a multitude and variety of layers of Ray Shields, and an overarching layer of a Particle Shield to defend against orbital bombardment, meteor showers and any other high velocity projectile such as missiles, bombs, drop-pods containing hostile forces and similar devices. The local Militia has a small structure like stronghold within the city, full of weapons and armour, and has a vast number of people trained and ready to respond as first contract is met. Their armour consists of Durasteel heavy armour and weaponry that contained a mixture of slugthrowers and double barrelled blaster rifles. For more significant threats, the Order of the Burning Veil can be called to answer a siege of far more deadlier warriors than the Militia is capable of fighting. This can range from elite troopers to Sith warriors. The technological advancements of the city and the surrounding areas makes this a fairly fortified planet location, with a similar amount of measures taken with the Fortress the Order uses as a headquarters.
  • Technology: Galactic Standard
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The planet Statera was discovered by a colony ship with the goal of finding a new home world the year 256 ABY. The colony ship was no much larger than a frigate, but it housed 1800 people within cryosleep, to be awakened one group at a time when a planet was found with a breathable atmosphere and the no obvious threats from creatures or terrain. Statera was discovered by the helmsman of the ship, who was a Force Sensitive unbeknown to himself. He had felt a strong pull in one single direction, that seemed to follow them. It was then that he had charted a course for the strange call through the black of space.

It was nearing their ninth month since they set off from the many colonies around the Herios Sector when they pulled out of Hyperspace and found their new haven. As per protocol, multiple scouting droids were sent down over the course of two weeks, with promising results. There were almost no traces of any dangerous viruses, diseases, or gases, with some particles being sensed, but at a specific level where it would be extremely unlikely for people to even be infected or harmed. After a period of time, the helmsman gave the order to wake around 300 people from cryosleep. These people were militaria in profession, along with some researchers who knew what kind of information to look for when searching for a hospitable planet. With the clearance from the head of the research division, the approximately 300 people down to the planet with a security team and multiple construction droids. There, at the edge of a large forest, they built what would become Ekata City. After two months, the planet and foundations of the city were deemed safe, the remaining people in cryosleep were woken up, and debriefed on the situation. Some were full families, some young teens without parents due to infection or limited placements, and some were those who were of significant social standing who could act like leaders. The remaining people started to lower the frigate into the planet's atmosphere, and down onto a roughly made docking platform. And so, the Staterians took their first steps on their new home world.

The large settlement, Ekata Town was transformed within two years into the grand city it is today. The planet's surface showed immense growth and whatever was planted as crops grew well into abundance. The people of Ekata City fell into a time of great joy and prosperity. It was voted upon by the people to install a form of government, instead of letting unguided people wander the planet's surface. And so, the Council was forged, with eighteen seats ready to be occupied. The first head of the Council was Rin'nume, a compassionate and imposing female Twi'lek. With her and the other seventeen Council members, they drove new laws and ideas into the city's walls and people. Rin'nume's term as the head of the Council has been marked as on record being the longest term served in the City's history, serving as the head for forty-two years. She subsequently retired, and took a comfy place at the edge of the city, which is still marked as a place of great historical value. Since her term as head, most heads and council members serve terms around twelve to fifteen years each.

The planet and its new inhabitants were in a joyous time, until the Gulag Virus stormed the galaxy, infecting and killing all in its path. Due to the highly dangerous nature of the virus, the Council instilled a brief period of Martial Law until the year 835 ABY. This was marked as the period of Statera's history that was discussed as a very depressing time with more deep regret at certain actions than pride at having been one of the few civilizations to survive the deadly disease. Since the end of the Martial Law, the Council has since become more free giving with its people, allowing for some off world trading of certain goods and supplies. The planet's isolation from other heavy direct interaction from other planets or organizations was to near its end however, when a strange man, cloaked and unknown as to how he arrived on the planet. Some thought he had slipped through security, others thought he was a local individual. The man would only introduce himself as "A simple Traveller in need of a place to call his own". Within a year, he had gained enough trust with the city's people to have them aid in reconstruction of one of their ancient fortresses in the Forest outside the city. After a few months of work, the fortress was rebuilt, grand and expansive. It was then, that the man offered twelve individuals training in their Force based gifts. Some recognised him as a Jedi, others thought he was a scholar wishing for new students. It was soon after the twelve accepted his offer, that he revealed that a Force Nexus was located near the Fortress, hence why the planet's natural ground and wildlife was so sustainable. Why crops grew at such extravagant rates. And why their people had survived the deadly intergalactic plague.

The man's new students had quickly formed a new order, naming it the Order of the Burning Veil, as a tribute to the idea how the veil of lies and misinformation about the Force and how monochromatic it was supposed to be, was to be burned away. The city had gained a new ally in the order, and the master, with each of his Disciples becoming resilient defenders of the city from larger threats, such as a large pack of Nexu, a rampaging Rancor, and a gathering of Acklay that threatened and slaughtered many livestock in the expanding villages. Each threat was dealt with, and more support was given to the order, even many more asking to join it. Some thought was also given into expanding the defences of the city, including reinforcement shields, stronger armaments for their Militia, and more restrictive Space Port laws and regulations.

The city had, at the request of the Order of the Burning Veil, and the recent event of a large gang of pirates having attacked multiple ships departing from Ekata City's Space Port, that they closed the Port, and built a stronger presence on the planet to ensure it didn't happen again. The Militia expanded to over forty nine thousand five hundred members, the defensive measures for the city expanded, and the Order's new twelve Masters took on multiple thousands of new recruits, all with a growing connection to the Force, just by being near the Force Nexus their Master had sensed all those years ago. The City is now celebrating its Port reopening and the large amount of new shipments and trade offers revitalizing the city and its people as a whole.

Overall, this is pretty well done. We just need a little more info on the Location.

Location: [ This can be a screenshot of the hex from the map with a marker, or you can say that it is located "in X planet's hex" and give a general description of positioning. If you intend to add this planet to the Chaos Map please review the rules thoroughly.]

You have the hex that it's in, however, we need to know a general description of positioning within that hex.

Tag me when it's been updated and I'll get you sorted.
