SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Powered undersuit provides wearer with basic abilities of power armor, including increased strength and endurance. Utilizes muscle fiber system based on Locke & Key's Myomer Actuation system to create essentially a second skin for the wearer to make the armor function.
  • Made with Synthetic Yorik Coral making the suit effectively force dead, so if good luck using space magic on the thing.
  • Construction and build quality of the suit makes it both effective as a standalone in civilian situations for Emergency recovery teams in hostile environments, and as a base layer for standard CIS organic trooper armor.
  • Environmental protections in the suit make it able to be worn in space, giving the wearer a complete air tight seal and providing unlimited breath time.
  • Lack of glass face shield ensures structural stability of the suit isn't compromised.
STRENGTHS
  • Multi-purpose suit: This suit is intended as a civilian stand alone or military undersuit that can handle a variety of situations for responses against toxic/hostile environments. And with the ability to seal itself and provide the wearer essentially uninterrupted breathing for an unlimited amount of time even in environments where the environments are high in EMP/Ion effects. Gives the suit the ability to operate in any environment, except for you know, diving directly into molten lava or magma and such.
  • Force dead: This suit is made from a source of Synthetic Yorik Coral that is force dead. And when this material gets synthesized into polymers and woven materials, it infers the protections over, making this suit extremely difficult if not impossible to affect with the force. So if you're fighting them space wizards, you slap on this, and they won't be able to use that space magic of theirs on you to great effect.
  • Power armor: This suit is full on light power armor, making the suit itself feel extra light, and giving the user the standard effects of power armor, being increased strength and endurance.
WEAKNESSES
  • Lesser protection: This suit is meant to be an undersuit for combat armors, so while it offers some protections against lower power weapons, it is pretty ineffective against standard and high power blaster and kinetic weapons. And for blast's sake don't go trying to use an arm of this to block a lightsaber.... unless you're not particularly fond of that arm. You know what never mind go ahead. See what happens.
  • EMP/Ion is great, electrical not so much: So this suit is meant to conduct electrical energy through the musculature to make the suit move. And while that's great for getting the most efficient and effective movement system for the suit, this isn't great for someone hitting them with an actual electrical attack. This will cause the artificial muscles to seize up in the suit, causing it to lock up. Now while FORCE LIGHTNING won't do this because the suit is force dead, using actual electricity against the suit will.
  • Force Users use at own risk: The suit is force dead, so if you want to try and use your space magic in this thing..... yeah no. Not gonna happen without you compromising the suit. So, I would highly advise against it.
DESCRIPTION
Designed by Freebirds Industries in the wake of the Surric System Civil War, the C-1 (U) was first and foremost design as a search and rescue suit. This was meant for the civilians to go into hot zones and rescue civilians and personnel trapped in highly toxic, radioactive, or even biologically contaminated environments. And when SLDF (Surric Local Defense Force) needed a start for their standard combat armors as the military had fought itself to bloody annihilation, the C-1 was quickly adapted for military use. They added on L&K's Myomer Actuation system, a Synthetic Yorik Coral polymer was woven into the suit, being infused with an Artificial Ionite protective layer and the rebreather being upgraded to a military standard one. With this in mind, the suit was now ready for standard military use, and was definitely small enough that it's armored overlay wouldn't get in the way or make it feel bulky at all. And while the electrical protection on this part of the suit is not great at all, it certainly makes up for it in its ability to protect the wearer in most if not all hostile environments. So saddle up brothers and sisters, infantry leads the way.
