There were some cheers and a few whoops. The excitement in the air was tangible, and Danger was enjoying the ambiance.

"We had some good deals and items from our last two auctions," long, shapely legs would amble back and forth across the stage, the holographic representation of the Queen of Trade in every home with the SSB Holo Network on.

"The next series is from I would reckon sells the best droids in the 'Verse." Danger's voice would sail over the crowd, in every holographic screen that was tuned in for the second auction of the Southern Systems Business Expo.

"We got Hegemonic Automaton, along with the newest up and coming Theed Palace Space Vessel Engineering Corps. Ain't nothing like them sleek, silver lines that make a girl think of quality luxury.

And finally, Damorian Manufacturing is also a name we've seen more and more. So without further ado..."

Auction Rules

This auction will run for 48 hours only. This auction will close at 12:00 p.m. 1/18/2016

• An auction's end time must be set when the auction begins.
• Bids must increase by reasonable increments. Large jumps may be subject to refusal.
• Minimum bid accepted for items up to 999,000 credits is 100.
• Minimum bid accepted for items over 1,000,000 credits is 1,000.
• Bids of goods, services, favors, etc. will be taken as legitimate bids and may receive preference over monetary bids, per the seller's prerogative.
• No outrageous bids.
• Like a merchant in the Marketplace, an auctioneer is responsible for verifying that bidders can afford their bids. Auctioneers can ignore bids at their discretion if they feel a bidder cannot afford to pay dubious bids.
• Bidders who feel their bid was unfairly ignored can appeal to RPJs and/or Company Factory Judges for help.
• Bidders who spam, attack other bidders, or generally make themselves a nuisance to the bidding in general will be asked to leave. Continued behavior after a polite warning will be reported to SWRP: Chaos RPJs.
• Standard SWRP: Chaos Rules are in effect at all times. Failure to comply with these rules will warrant RPJ and/or Admin action upon the individual(s) responsible.
• For any restricted materials, holocrons, or artifacts, please link the thread where you acquired the item into the auction.

So far, this was the first auction Judah found interesting. He had an eye for vessels,despite only using two on a regular basis. Still....to have something of such beauty and function, highly limited to a handful in the galaxy? While he didn't spend credits on luxuries or live lavishly, such things were a sometimes indulgence.


This was one such time.


Sitting in the VIP area, he was looking over the offerings by the Theed Palace Engineering Corp.

Makai was bouncing in his seat, looking over his fathers arm at the bids. New ships? Maybe now was his chance to have a crack at his Dad's old X-wing...especially if he was getting a new fighter concept. First he would have to learn to fly but those were only minor details. He would have to slowly bring up the subject if the auction was won.


In his lap was a gift for [member="Danger Arceneau"] . It was a Life Day gift...a really,really late one. Since his mother had come home his jet-setting ways had been hindered a little, he had spent more time on Ceto over the last several weeks than he had over the last several months. Right now though all he could do is watch Miss Ar-cen-now move across the stage, directing the auction with ease.


"Dad? We're gonna see Miss Ar-cen-now when she's done selling all this stuff, right? You think she still will be excited to see me? She looks busy."

[member="Makai Dashiell"] and his daddy [member="Judah Dashiell"] would not be disappointed. Once the bidding went underway, Danger would pass along the MC role to Alisha'ven. The Rutian Twi'lek would lean closer, and a soft murmur of information would flow into the shell of her ear.

Danger's face would brighten in that instant, a genuine smile growing across her crimson lips. "I'll be done for the night then. If you need anything, reckon Aeri can handle it." With Aeri and Alisha'ven taking control and oversight of the conglomerate, the Queen of Trade had more time to spend for herself and with those who she care for.

And there was a little speckled scaled young man who managed to steal a large portion of it.

It had been some time since Makai and Judah had come on over to call; and while rare indeed, she could only imagine things got hectic for the Saleucami native with the expansion his company was going through. The more innovation and the more research one throws down into a project, the more time it eats up.

While Makai had been left in her care during times Judah was more strapped for his time, Danger knew that Judah enjoyed having his little boy with him. Seeing how he was basically a single father in Makai's rearing, she couldn't fault him in that.

None the less, there was a measure of excitement at seeing both of them again. So without further ado, the redhead would make her way backstage. Alisha had told her where the two had been spotted, in one of the VIP areas.

Time to surprise them both.

"Yeah, we'll be seeing her after the auction, sneak off to the side. Don't want to mess up her schedule for the next one."


Looking over his auctions, it seemed the crowd had scattered their bids in completely different directions. Nothing to worry about quite yet. Waitresses circled around with drinks and various other refreshments, cigarillo smoke drifted throughout the crowd along with chatter and laughter. With the crowd being so scattered for the items it was a casual atmosphere so far, less frenzied than many of the others he had been to.


A green-skinned waitress dropped off a stiff drink for himself and Jawa Juice for the boy.


"Looks like she stepped off the stage for the moment. Business never ends I suppose. I think your Ma might kill me for bidding seven million on this spaceship. Eh....she doesnt have to know we spent that much."

Rygel Larraq was not typically a fan of auctions, but he did keep an ear to the ground on the off chance that an something of value presented itself. As the lots were listed, a silver protocol droid in the back sent a flash transmission across the galaxy via the holonet. With the distant press of a button and a few seconds delay, the droid raised a hand.


"Lot A. 120,000 credits for Mandal Hypernautics" The droid said.

"And for the Ion Encumbrance Package... Contracts to equip future starship or starfighers with MH-EW17 Active Camouflage Systems, MH-PU04 Overdrive Engines, and MH-PU07 Maneuvering Thruster, as well as rights to sell future starfighter designs with a bundled MH-PU18 Hyperdrive Ring."

(OOC Note: Active Camouflage System typically requires at least a 10 post dev thread for any ship it is installed upon. But hey... no need for Stygium!)

The woman looked at the hypernautics droid with an exaggerated pout and flipped her long Raven hair off her shoulder. She did enjoy competition but the kind that was not effected by her charms was no fun at all. She let her bid on the colony ships remain unchanged but raised her glass to her lips as she mentally calculated cost versus gain.

"One hundred and thirty-five thousand for Lot A, if you would please. " she said with a high galactic accent. That would be a nice start.

The Falleen woman looked from the droid to the Herglic and paused eyeing large creature up and down with the curious question of whether he was proportional everywhere before again raising her hand. They were sweetening the deal with promises. She could make promises as well.

"One hundred and seventy thousand and a contract with Arsov mining incorporated for shipments of durasteel, lomite, and titanium. First shipment would of course be free of charge."

With that she took another glass of wine and went to sit beside the Herglic, smiling like a kaminoan seagull looking at a fish.

The CEO of Darkwater Security's data pad beeped. Orcus raised blubbery brows at the message from Hegemonic Automaton, snorted air out his blowholes, and leaned back with a smile.

There would be no more bids from Darkwater today. Oddly, he didn't seem too put out.

A Falleen woman came and sat next to him. Orcus didn't know her, but he did know of her species, er, gift. Suddenly, he was intensely wary of his own good humor.
