Hi!
So this is Lora, she's a very new Padawan. I know very little about what she's doing because I'm still getting used to Chaos as a site (totally new member here!) aside from what's on her character bio. She's a padawan. She's clever, determined but quite shy. Also, she's grumpy.
I'm looking for anything interesting that'll help me get used to the site. Characters to meet, friends and mentors and whoever can help Lora live and grow. I'm particularly interested in anything where she learns about Jedi stuff, or building a master/padawan relationship.
Thanks for reading, I hope to write with you soon!
Sorry for the long post. Fine if you don't read it.
Hiya! Welcome to the site! I'm not one of the most experienced players here, but I have...too many characters. I have too many ideas don't tend to use most of them. I can't promise master/padawan stuff. Unfortunately, I have a poor record of that. Tried it about five times, twice with one character. Only twice did it go anywhere (both were the same writer who I'd been writing with for awhile beforehand). I
can however provide characters that can help give advice and stuff, I just don't do permanent mentorships.
If you want mentor types:
(Can be mostly anywhere, but Xos would generally be on Dorian because he's a Kel Dor)
Funo Civ: Jedi archealogist/mechanic/medic. He's a very kind jedi master who avoids conflict, and has VAST stores of knowledge. He's one of my characters I didn't get much use of because he was made for a group that didn't end up going anywhere. He's not really affiliated with any order, instead preffering to continue his roaming in search of more knowledge. History, culture, ancient force techniques, all things he knows a lot about. He prefers negotiation over combat.
Xos Drikre: Similar to Funo actually in personality, though even
less willing to move to violence. He's a Baran Do Sage, master of the order. Though I've considered changing that so I can use him more often. He's less outright knowledgable about other cultures and stuff, but he's very strong in the force and prone to unprompted visions. He has been used most of the time for characters who have problems in the force or desire more knowledge about it. I personally love writing him because he's just so kind. But also because I can use his visions to lead him places for other writers, as he can basically be called by the force to aid them. He's never had an actual rp fight so far (mostly because he just isn't violent at all).
Friends:
Steven Holt: Pilot for the Galactic Alliance, he's a friendly guy who's really into technology (due to the loss of one arm, and it's replacement with a cybernetic which he has considerably upgraded). Steve is one of my most normal characters, he's not got any super-special personality traits aside from his interest in tech, and he's not force sensitive unlike almost ALL of my other ones. Probably need to be near the Galactic Alliance for this.
Shavara: This...involves a long story. She's a species I made (appears human, they genetically altered their race a very long time ago to have special traits, in her race's case it involves shapeshifting). Her culture makes considerable use of the force and medical technology of which they are extremely advanced. Shavara is kind of like a priestess/leader in training (called Vo Ni) but she is secretly rebelling due to them being under the Eternal Empire which she doesn't like or trust in spite of the worlds leader (essentially highest authority) being the one to make the decision to be ruled peacefully. She's very good at medical matters, but she's better at things like alchemy due to a holocron. She's an overall good person, but with flaws in her belief's that need to be ironed out. To meet her you'd need to be near the Eternal Empire due to a lack of transportation.
OTHER:
I have Rocho who I can move around easy. He's a Trandoshan bounty hunter/mercenary trained in the force. He's my first actual character that I wrote I think. Second in terms of how much I've written. Rocho is definitely immoral but follows a type of code, including following the scorekeeper. He mainly relies on bounty's or wars for that though, and doesn't make the choice of target himself. He'd have no issue helping if he found someone in need, but don't expect him to abandon his missions for something that'd pull him away too long. Rocho used to be a soldier essentially, an Imperial Knight is what he was called. So he still retains some sense of formality from the time. Be an unusual individual to meet. But mostly just to see what happens.
Xerek: This one is the weirder of the group, but aside from Funo, easiest to run into: Xerek USED to be an Anzati. She got caught, had her brain implanted to a droid where she remained for a long time until they forgot about her crimes. She managed to leave, and got an upgrade from someone. Now she often projects using holograms to appear like an actual organic, sometimes with cybernetic limb for handshake convenience. She's lost most of her ability to use the force effectively, though I don't know if I'll change that. She works mostly as a smuggler now, though if the job was right maybe she'd catch a bounty or work as a mercenary or spy. She could be met during one such thing, maybe Lora could sense something was off.
