STRENGTHS
  • Storage: The Siv Kryze-class Light Salvage Station is capable of holding a large amount of cargo within itself, somewhere in the vicinity of several million metric tons.
  • Manufacturer: Though the primary purpose of the Siv Kryze is to store salvaged materials, the station is also capable of manufacturing its own products, thanks to its Molecular Furnace and Self-Regulating Droidmaker.
  • Well defended: For a space station of its class, the Siv Kryze is surprisingly well defended and relatively difficult to destroy.
  • Affordable: Like many Mahporeem made designs, the Siv Kryze is first and foremost designed to be affordable, as it can be built both quickly and rather cheaply, though this is offset someone by the inclusion of Beskar in its final design.
WEAKNESSES
  • Unarmed: The Siv Kryze-class Light Salvage Station is completely unarmed, and must rely on other units to defend it from enemy attack.
  • Immobile: The Siv Kryze is unable to move under its own power, forcing it to be towed into new positions.
  • Valuable target: The type of cargo and materials that a Siv Kryze carries makes it an attractive target, and means that the station it likely to attract rather unsavory attention on itself.
  • Resupply: With most of its available going to the storage of salvaged and reclaimed materials, the station must be resupplied with food, water and other essentials rather frequently.
DESCRIPTION

With the Anvil of Concordia Trade Agreement signed between the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant and the Mandalorian Empire, the already significant amount of scrap and salvage traveling to and from Mahporeem began to increase even further, thus straining the Imperial Remnant's processing capabilities to its limits. To ensure that operations would not be disrupted by the ever increasing volume of materials coming their way, the Imperial Remnant decided to create a salvage space station that would better allow them to store and move large volumes of reclaimed materials with as little headache as possible.

Named after Siv Kryze Siv Kryze , the so called "Warden of Concordia", the Siv Kryze-class Light Salvage Station is designed to be constructed as quickly and inexpensively as possible, though the Mandalorian Empire's rather generous procurement of Beskar for the Imperial Remnant has somewhat defeated this purpose. Nonetheless, several Siv Kryze space stations have already been constructed along the new hyperlanes linking Mahporeem and Concordia, and like the N&Z Khonshu-Class Path Station that was responsible for the creation of the new trade routes in the first place, each Siv Kryze space station is jointly staffed by both Mandalorian and Imperial Remnant personnel.

Though they are ostensibly little more than glorified scrapyards, each Siv Kryze-class Light Salvage Station is surprisingly heavily defended for a space station of its type. Each station comes fully furnished with Reinforced Shield Generators, Beskar Reinforced Exterior Armor Plating, an Electronic Countermeasures Suite and a host of internal security features such as Blast Doors and Sentry Guns. This is to ensure that each station is able to operate without fear of being attacked or having their cargo stolen, since millions upon millions of metric tons worth of scrap and salvage is moved along the Concordia-Mahporeem on a daily basis.

Of course, these stations are by no means invulnerable, as each is completely unarmed, fully immobile and only capable of carrying a paltry 4 starfighter complement. What these stations are designed to do is to survive initial contact with an enemy fleet until reinforcements can arrive, whether that may take several minutes or several hours. Unfortunately, as tensions begin to simmer between the Mandalorian Empire and the Imperial Confederation, these stations may no longer be able to serve two masters at the same time. In the event that the Mandalorian Empire turns against Mahporeem, the Imperial Remnant does have a contingency plan should they fail to wrest control of the stations away from the Mandalorians: hidden Self-Destruct Mechanisms installed within the reactor of each and ever station along the trade route...

STANDARD FEATURES
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Bulwark: The Asteroid Defense Platform is designed to provide planets and other important structures a "first line of defense" against pirate raids, enemy fleet strikes and space leviathans
  • Firepower: Each Asteroid Defense Platform comes equipped with a plethora of offensive armaments, allowing the stations to combat both starfighters and capital ships in equal measure
  • Shielded: The Asteroid Defense Platform is equipped with multiple deflector shield generators, allowing the stations to survive a fair bit of punishment in combat
  • Carrier: Each Asteroid Defense Platform is capable of carrying up to 15 squadrons of starfighters and support craft at a time
  • Unassuming: At a visual glance, the Asteroid Defense Platform appears to be little more than a free floating asteroid, which can surprise unobservant enemy ships
  • Nonstandard: Each Asteroid Defense Platform contains a unique internal layout, preventing enemy forces from being able to discern the space stations capabilities
WEAKNESSES
  • Large: Asteroid Defense Platforms are large and unwieldy targets, making them quite easy to hit even at long range
  • Nonstandard: Because each Asteroid Defense Platform has a nonstandard internal layout, the space stations capabilities may vary across each example
  • Stationary: The Asteroid Defense Platform is unable to move from its position without external help, though it can slowly rotate around to face certain threats
  • Obvious: Though it looks like an asteroid, even a cursory sensor scan of the space station will reveal its true purpose, making it difficult to keep hidden during battle
  • Costly: When compared to similar models, the Asteroid Defense Platform is costly and time consuming to manufacture, somewhat limiting its overall availability
  • Hazardous: When damaged, chunks of the Asteroid Defense Platform may fly off into space, creating potential hazards for defending forces
DESCRIPTION

Although the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant retains a fairly robust relationship with Niki's Priddy General Goods Store, the Imperial Remnant has been so far unable to secure the permissions that it needs in order to utilize Priddy's PGEM Bulwark Asteroid Platforms, leaving Mahporeem with significant gaps in its planetary defenses. Undeterred, the Imperial Remnant has decided to take matters into its own hands by creating the so called "Asteroid Defense Platform", an orbital defense platform that borrows heavily from the PGEM Bulwark Asteroid Platforms, though with a decidedly Imperial and N&Z Umbrella Corporation twist.

Even larger in size and scope than its inspiration, the Asteroid Defense Platform contains a plethora of anti-starfighter and anti-capital ship weaponry sourced from the N&Z Umbrella Corporation, along with several powerful electronic warfare components, such as the NZ CoreCom Scammer, the NZ CoreCom Disruptor and the NZ Thanatos ECM/A Suite. The Asteroid Defense Platform is similarly heavily shielded and armored, being protected by both an NZ SSP-SEPTIMUS [Shield System Package] and ISD-72x Deflector Shield Generator Domes that have been supplemented with an NZ Neirides CSEM/A Shield Enhancer Module.

Furthermore, each Asteroid Defense Platform contains enough internal space inside to carry up to 15 squadrons of starfighters and support craft within in, giving the space station a considerable amount of combat capability and support abilities. That being said, though a potent combat asset, the Asteroid Defense Platform is not a substitute fleet: each station is a large and easy target to hit, and the stations themselves are completely unable to move under their own power, though they can slowly rotate around to face slow moving threats. Perhaps most importantly, the internal layout of each Asteroid Defense Platform is completely unique, meaning that no two stations are exactly the same, preventing the Asteroid Defense Platform from having any sort of "standardized" combat potential.

It should be noted that though the Imperial Remnant is quite satisfied with the quality of their newly created Asteroid Defense Platforms, efforts still persist to convince Niki Priddy Niki Priddy and the General Goods Store to eventually allow Mahporeem to utilize their PGEM Bulwark Asteroid Platforms, though such attempts may now be irrevocably damaged due to perceived copyright infringements and theft of intellectual property...

DESCRIPTION

Originally beginning life as Siv Kryze-class Light Salvage Stations, these space stations were developed as a joint venture between the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant and the Mandalorian Empire. Unfortunately, an internal plot against the Imperial Confederation resulted in the Mandalorians seizing a number of the stations for their exclusive use, preventing Mahporeenian forces from having any sort of access to them. With the Mandalorian's refusal to return the seized stations back to Mahporeem and the breakdown of ties between the Imperial Remnant and the Mandalorian Empire, it was decided to rename the remaining station still under Mahporeenian control.

When they were known as Siv Kryze-class Light Salvage Stations, they had been named after Siv Kryze Siv Kryze , who was instrumental in negotiating the original deal between Mahporeem and the Mandalorians. In recognition of his efforts, the Imperial Remnant elected to name the stations after him, to show that the Imperial Remnant was capable of working with Mandalore on this business venture. After the worsening of ties, the Imperial Remnant renamed all remaining stations to "Verd-class Salvage and Trash Processing Stations", as a thinly veiled insult toward the current leader of the Mandalorian Empire, Aether Verd Aether Verd . It does not take a genius to see why a name might be considered an insult toward the one the stations are named for.

Beyond that, little, if anything has changed about the internal or external layouts of the stations themselves, though the Imperial Remnant has begun to ramp up their production of them. The stations retain the same strengths and weaknesses that they had originally, though with a distinct lack of Mandalorian influence. This does mean that the stations tend to be somewhat more vulnerable to being attacked than before, as they no longer fall under the protection of one of the most powerful empires in the galaxy. Whether or not Mahporeem can pick up the defensive slack remains to be seen.
