STRENGTHS

• Force protection: The armour nullifies the force when used against the wearer. As an inferior, synthetic crystal it is not perfect protection, nor does not create a bubble of anti-force but it is sufficient for the wearer.
• Energy resistance: Beskar of course is fabulously hardy against energy weapons, but in an era where the average saber cutting power is "better than average" the Aurodenium-R provides an edge. Its properties allow it to dissapate heat more rapidly. Sustained contact will eventually overwhelm this but most weapons make rapid high intensity contacts.
• Mandalorian Legacy: Forged from Beskar, this beskar'gam is a traditional Mandalorian suit of armour with beautiful defensive and destructive properties.
• Limited stealth: The stealth polymer makes the user harder to track and the voidmetal harder to sense. These are not perfect cloaks by any means may buy the user the prescious few seconds they need.

WEAKNESSES

• Power dependant: Requires constant power for flight and weapons, if the reactor fails or becomes damaged it may leave the user vulnerable.
• Composite bodysuit: The undersuit is thinner and more flexible than the armoured parts. Whilst it will stop a glancing blow or low calibre weapons, the gaps in her beskar plates are comparatively vulnerable.
• Unsubtle: The stealth polymer makes the metal less shiny and acts similarly to a primitive adaptive camouflage to unaided sight. But any focused adversary will easily detect the armour and its wearer.
• Hard to field repair: The inclusion of Aurodenium-R helps with protection against energy and plasma based weapons but it also increases the already high temperatures required to weld beskar making and kind of field repair difficult.
• Surface tension: The stealth polymer is tough but will get damaged during sustained combat resulting in reduced stealth characteristics. This will need to be reapplied before the benefits return.

DESCRIPTION

This armour was originally created for a member of the royal guard of the Mand'alor a long time ago and had been handed down in that role. Signy aquired it on a raiding mission. One of the pirates had a very special prisoner that Signy and her clanmates managed to rescue. Unfortunately the guard died from their injuries not long after, but before they did so they recorded in their armour chain code that in exchange for liberating them and returning both their remains and the other item they were carrying to Mandalore, he would.gift the young teen his armour and extend an invitation to join the ranks of the royal guard.

The pirate in Signy's blood could have lept the armour and the other item and simply dumped the corpse. But the mandalorian in her accepted honorably and the delivery was made. She still has the guard invite but she will be unlikely to accept that at this time.

The armour is a work of art, in the royal mandalorian style including the helmet and the elegant chestplate that houses a large synthetic crystal that she late found to be synthetic voidstone.

She has been working on it for over two years to reshape it for herself and customise it to her tastes including a repaint, personal sigil, and stealth coating. But now it is ready for her.​
