[ Final days… ]

Negotiations were nowhere near as good as she had hoped. In fact, it had exactly the same consequences as she thought. Representatives of the Light side do not want to work with the Dark side or Sith at all, even temporarily. She was disappointed, though Ingrid expected that answer. Most gave exactly the reaction that she was expecting from them. Complacency and arrogance. Ironically, this was more present in the representatives of the Light side than in the Sith, or at least from them it was more striking.

She tried not to deal with this, as most of those present were driven only by the Force. Tavlar was the only one he didn’t, but he... his own hatred led him. It wasn't better either. She sighed and looked down at the city. Perhaps the members of the CIS were still able to think similarly to her and Silmar. There were many who wanted the same as the woman, but in the end it was not they who decided because these individuals were not the leaders of their state.

She turned back to her desk, where she was sitting. Ingrid was in the local HQ of HPI, in her own office, and as always, she was still working. Until a very unexpected guest arrived. After what he said at the meeting, she would not have thought that it would be the man who would visit her. She was expecting Lord Silmar, not Darth Maliphant.

Ingrid had, of course, read files about the man before, knowing who he was, however they had not met before. Actually, yes, only the woman didn't know about it. In any case, it was interesting.

"What do I owe your visit, Darth Maliphant? Knowing your close relationship with Srina Talon Srina Talon and your reaction at the meeting… I would have expected Tavlar earlier than onto you." she said in her usual cold and military voice.
