“Sing to me of the man, Muse, the man of twists and turns / driven time and again off course, once he had plundered / the sacred heights of Troy."
The MYTHOS FLEET assailed the Sith-held Core Worlds, striking across sectors in an overwhelming display of might as the second SITH-MANDALORIAN WAR scales in grandeur. The brutal Sith massacre of the people of Abregado-Rae and their devastation of Thyferra have firmly cemented the SITH as an existential threat to the galaxy. A crusade sparked by the genocide of the Mando’ade fifty years ago is now awash with the fresh blood of martyrs.
Not even the threat of death will halt the Mandalorian spirit.
For in death, they are deified.
The crusade on the Core had already begun as Mandalorian forces, aided by their allies, embattled the Sith on systems such as Pelagon and Foerost, drawing the Sith into the defense. Yet in a surprise move, the MYTHOS FLEET sweeps into the Deep Core in a relentless assault on the Sith position. For those suffering under the Sith, their bonds are broken; they are, truly, freed. For those who stand with the Sith, they will be consigned to the same doom that awaits their dark masters.
Thousands of years ago, KUAR was ravaged and left barren by the first of the Mandalorian crusades. Its location along the Korros Trunk Line makes it essential for the Mandalorian siege of the Core. Upon the Plains of Harkul, Mandalorian engineers race to erect an indomitable fortress that will serve the Iron Covenant as a forward operating base.
Pressure building, the Iron Covenant marches to complete the fortress's defensive systems so that it may become an impenetrable redoubt against any Sith onslaught.
A secretive fell world hidden in the deep core, the shipyards of HAD ABADDON were used to construct the Sith’s fearsome dreadnought Tyranny. The Iron Covenant now assaults the shipyards to destroy their utility and conquer as many resources as possible for the Mandalorian war machine.
Mandalorian boarding parties descend upon the central command structure of the shipyards to wrest away the Sith’s plans and any valuable data that will permit them to glean the strength of their enemy.
In recent years, CORUSCANT, the center of the galaxy, has known turmoil and war like no other world. Held captive under the yoke of the Sith, millions have risen up from the lower levels as riots shake the ecumenopolis at its foundation while Mandalorian hellfire rains down from up high.
Mandalorians and Sith clash in the heavens above and on the ground below. A reactor core a hundred levels directly below the Sith Temple has been identified by scouts as a critical structural weakness. Mandalorian commandos strike to overcharge the reactor to create an explosion that will destroy the levels around it, creating a chain reaction that topples the temple from below.
