Scars of Time (FWC Dominion of Dorsis - Hex U-27)

Dorsis, reluctant to come under the wing of FWC has agreed to meet with the diplomats sent by them. Being an independent city planet, they want to maintain their independence. However, there have been some high profile robberies that have started to take their toll on the stability of the government itself. This might be due to the sudden appearance of artifacts of unknown origin.

The city-planet of Dorsis had been built and rebuilt over the course of years. As buildings and areas fell into ruin, they were built on top of. Under the many levels of the city were ancient ruins newly discovered by scavengers. A temple lost for many thousands of years had been reopened. The spread of its dark influence seeping out and up.

Meanwhile in the shipyards of Saberhing, the droids left behind when the Metal Lords fled the areas they held continued to do their job. Without their overlords a few have started to grow more independent and there might be the start of a revolution...

It hurt his eyes to stare at it. He glanced away, and that was when he realized that it was at the center of everything that had been bothering him. But there wasn't time to think about it now he had been sent to Dorsis to make a gesture of friendship. He just had not decided if that was what he would do, yes his mother would be upset but he was growing tired of being the dutiful son.

Course what had happened the other night in the Officer's Lounge had led to a few questions that he had yet to be called to account for himself. Looking back he imagined there could have been another way to deal with it.

The place had been packed it usually was anymore with invasion looming all around them. Theo went in just like everyone else to have a few drinks, dinner with friends and then back to his place for sleep. He knew that there were those that viewed him as rich, spoiled, conceited, arrogant and far too used to getting his own way. But still people gravitated to him. He saw the group look his way then turn giggling, slapping each other's back and give him several more quick glances. It was going to be a long night.

He kept a watchful eye on the group he knew what was coming eventually. He didn't invite them he just watched.

As they downed another pitcher to build their courage Theo figured he'd call it an early night. But no that wouldn't happen. A shadow soon crossed his table Theo wondering who had finally worked up the courage looked up to find Caleb Panteer looking at him. "Caleb."

"I had lunch with your sister and mother."

Theo nodded, "ok."

"I think I will be calling on her again. She's a cute red head with a bit of fire not something found in girls lately. It's just a bonus that's she's the heir. I wonder if she fiery in everything she does." He winked at Theo. Theo was use to getting poked about his sister but he wasn't use to someone making that kind of remark about his sister.

Theo looked up this wasn't a challenge and he knew it. It would have all been good if he hadn't winked. Caleb was normally a good guy but in front of friends a bit too much to drink and suddenly who knew what he was thinking. Theo stood up, "Really." He nodded, then drew back and punched him squarely on the jaw knocking him to the floor. "Rememember she's my sister"

He had left directly but so far no call had come, would it?

He sighed thinking Dorsis, maybe this is the punishment.

Jim landed his personal ship, The Roska on Dorsis. He had a hard time figuring out what to do while the Diplomats were working on bring them to the FWC. There had been rumors of an ancient temple being found, plenty of ancient loot but without the force, it’d be like flying blind into an asteroid field. Local authorities had been looking for clues on a robber, not typically Jim’s forte but there could be credits involved and he might just have the right amount of experience to help. He kept that in mind. He had overheard one of the former Metal Lords talk about abandoned droids. Intriguing to say the least, but with droids you never know what your gonna get. Jim twiddled his thumbs as he thought of things he could do. He knew if he helped with these high profile robberies it would cause attention, for Jim that’s good and bad, but Jim decided that this was the best thing he could do while he was here. Besides, how good would it look if a FWC member brought a notorious criminal to Jail. He left the ship to go to the nearest police station, best place to start, he decided.

Errreembuhr had joined with the Metal Lords only shortly before they were absorbed by the command of Alderaan, though it seemed nothing much had changed. They maintained much of their independence and he could do the same. The facility on New Plympto was well under construction, and though he had little in the way of followers, the help of HK-36 and his fellows had put him on the path he'd desired for over a century. This mission to Saberhing could be crucial towards that end.

There were reports of droids left over from the Metal Lords who had pulled out of the system continuing with their duties in the shipyards of the system, ones with experience that he could utilize. It was his hope to sway some of the now independent droids to his cause before they united under another leader or were collected and reprogrammed by others.

The light freighter he had flown when he first met with Lord HK-36 was his vessel again, crewed by the same droids, though this time he was in the pilot's seat as they pulled out of hyperspace. Sublight engines guided the craft into the atmosphere and towards a landing zone. Once the ship was down, he decided to leave his bowcaster inside, carrying only a holstered heavy blaster pistol with him. After all, despite his personal rule to be armed at all times, carrying a bowcaster around in both hands would send the wrong message, he felt.

Once outside, Errreembuhr found himself flanked by four of his battle droids, older models that he'd maintained himself. He got to work seeking out whoever remained in charge, putting his goals to work. This mission could make or break his fledgling company.

The two Ra picked as companions for this endeavor were her apprentice and clan sister. Both knew she could use the Force and to keep quiet about it. A few times her apprentice had come close to revealing her secret, but she had been able to shift things so it wasn't known.

On the way to Dorsis, she explained what information she had to the two of them and what she would like to accomplish here. As always, she gave them the choice of what they might want to do, but felt at least her apprentice would stick near her. This would give them an opportunity for her to guide him a little more. Sadly her own time had been lacking and a form of formal training had been absent for him. A little here and a little there only. This time though, with just the three of them, she hoped to have an opportunity for this.

Having spent some time on Coruscant, Ra knew how to navigate through the various levels of a city planet. Using her rather large speeder, it did its job though and they got to the lower levels just fine. The stench around them was horrible, but not unexpected. Lighting, surprising to her, was fine if artificial and she climbed out of the speeder with a slight stretch.

"Where do you two suggest we begin?"

Climbed out if the speeder, wearing only a pair or trousers and his boots, however, he had a small duffel bag with him, which after exiting the speeder he flopped it on the hood and unzipped it right before kicking off his boots and dropping his trousers, letting everything hang out before he began digging around in the duffel bag

"Well, you know me boss, I'm down for whatever you are,"

He paused a moment to look down before smirking

"Or.. 'up' apparently."
He chuckled a bit before pulling from the bag leather cargo pants before pulling them on and beginning to lace up his boots as he sat on the hood

"But if there's stealing to be done or valuables to be found might be best we do that first, as I can get it done quickly and quietly.

After lacing up his second boot he dug out the last item within the bag, a forearm harness with an attached shoto saber. He quickly strapped it to hisb right forearm before igniting the golden blade and smirking

"Who love you baby?"

He asks it before extinguishing the blade and turning his full attention to Ra.

Objective-Finding those caches
Post 1

Doris, she couldn't say she ever been here at all. Either way she really couldn't care, she was here for the caches and that was it she would look around later. She glanced to ra as she explained what would be going down as stardust nodded checking her sabers and two westars on her hips...adorned in her armor helmet off as she rolled her shoulders

Getting put of the speeder Stardust looked around scanning the area before she nodded and turned towards the group catching...well she knew one thing ra definitely picked the most interesting apprentices...looking for about a minute she looked away to ra as she crossed her arms

if they resonate the force no doubt we can locate them easily getting them might be the interesting part however

Objective - Robbery investigation

On the surface of Dorsis Theo's spirits did not lift much higher as he pondered over his actions. Caleb had deserved it for insinuating that he would be 'doing things' to his sister. Laira maybe he should have punched her too, she could take it probably better than most guys with him.

She was a handful. Feth.

So this gesture he was to present should he go off to the flea market and make the business contacts or investigate the robberies as a gesture of good faith. He liked the markets lots of interesting gadgets and folks to talk to. Investigating robberies though that sounded more like Ranger work and maybe he'd get to hit someone there. Nodding to the Captain of the ship, "Thank you, I'll be back."

Robberies he was on it. Maybe the flea market later.

First thing to rent a air speeder to get around in,second thing......get a map, don't get lost , third....a carbonated caffeinated drink then he would be riding the currents and paying a visit to the victims.

He stood in the shadows looking into the darkness that hid the next level of the city. To his right stood Dax, both sets of arms folded over his chest. Ro his left was Kat. You never really knew what was going on behind that helmet. Sighing he tightened the straps of the pack that rested on his back. This may not have been the greatest idea. For a crew that didn't have the force wisdom dictated choosing a different objective to get your hands on. Rummaging around force stuff wasn't a safe bet for someone that didn't have the handwavium disease.

But when did a Corellian ever choose the safe bet?

Gripping the rope he dropped into the darkness and descended down. As he slowly drifted lower his mind went over some of the interesting facts of Dorsis. Cities built upon the ruins of its predecessors. And in doing so it created a catacombs that rivalled Coruscant. Buried treasure of forgotten times. And one such buried treasure was supposed to be an abandoned temple.

Everyone in the galaxy clamored for things coming from force sects. The demand was high. And when that was the case, so were the rewards that were to be had. And Shaden liked the credits. But perhaps he liked the challenge even more.

As his feet touched down he released the rope and his right pulled his trustee DL-44. A chill ran down his spine and his flesh puckered. Quickly his crew landed next to him with Dax breaking out a spotlight. The inky feeling of cold dark coated their bodies despite it being relatively warm.

"Something tells me we are in the right spot. Come on. We aren't gonna make money just standing around here."

The three began to move deeper into the depths.

Dorsis Space | Aboard the Patrol Cruiser Turhaya

"Status?"

"Nothing showing up on scans yet. Models indicate trajectory towards Dorsis. Unless they have made a sudden microjump we should be finding them shortly. Pushing for a longer range scan and heat signatures."

"No doubt trying to escape and hide behind FWC forces. Not to mention the traffic on Dorsis."

Delila sighed, moving to look out the viewport. Back with CorSec and so far they were busy chasing down smugglers and criminals in the space around the planet. Free Worlds Rangers did a decent job of keeping most of the real dangerous folks out -pirates and slavers - but Corellia had always attracted a certain criminal. Somehow she always ended up running into the cheeky ones.

"Someone hail Dorsis traffic control, see if they have spotted any unusual jumps within the last thirty minutes."

There was always a bit of goofing off in the talk of exploration. Coren was the type of pilot who would take a few odd jobs. Helping a few people, dropping some guns off, but also picking up a few things that he could move beyond the borders of a system into another. It meant dealing with CorSec a bit, but once he got past them, something he wasn’t too concerned about, he’d be fine.

The big thing now, was that he was needing to get himself off the homeworld and back out to the Rim. He could get into the Alliance turf, but he was a Sentinel and part of the ExplorCorps, he’d rather not be going through the borders with some illicit substances. He needed this out to the Rim and that meant getting out of the Core. And going through the Free Worlds and Collective? That made sense to him.

But he knew he didn’t get out of the Five Worlds without getting a tail. Using a new ship component on one of the Starchaser Enterprises YT-2000s, a ship he was intimately familiar with, but one that was designed to be rebuilt and pieced together with new pieces. This time? A new sublight engine. One that was supposed to scramble sensors. And the ship was apparently broadcasting itself too loudly.

“I don’t know why it didn’t work, Porter, but it didn’t…”

He was slowing the engine down, and drifting with the traffic. He looked at the sensors. Their hyperspace beacon was a bit aways off.

Her current apprentice was an odd man. Almost from the day they had met, he always ran around without a shirt. Of course, he had a tattoo around basically his entire torso so who was she to say something about him covering that up? Another thing he did often enough around her when they were starting a mission was change clothes. Why he did that was beyond her, but she had yet to actually react much to him doing it. When he did it time, she closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose while massaging it a little. She was almost positive he did this on purpose, but had decided to ignore his idiosyncrasy and roll with it.

After he spoke, she removed her hand and looked at him when she knew he his pants were back on. He mentioned he figured they could get in and out of the where the cache was quickly and quietly. When he said it though, something made Ra wonder for a moment. One of her abilities she had no control over was similar to Force Sense or Sight...a feeling that things weren't going to be quite as easy as Merc suggested they would be. Her eyes narrowed and she glanced around them as if she might be able to see whoever or whatever was going to get in their path. Not seeing anything, she looked at her sister when she spoke.

She did not miss the fact Stardust was observant of Merc's shenanigans and shook her head at her. However, she did agree when it was stated that finding them wouldn't be an issue if they resonated through the Force. The issue and problem would likely arise in getting them out.

"Agreed, getting there isn't going to be an issue. We don't know anything about what might be waiting for us either on the way or when we get there. Here is what physical information on the location I have though."

Taking out a small datapad that a projector, she pulled up the map of the area. Setting it on the hood of her speeder, everything would be seen by Stardust and Merc. That feeling lingered in Ra though and she knew they would meet opposition most likely since she knew her luck in these matters.

The shipyards were alive with the non-living, it seemed, when Errreembuhr finally arrived. Maintenance droids and construction drones moved here and there, sparks flying as they welded machinery or repaired structures. Several of the drones were of Abregado-Rae design, likely imported from HK-36's corporation to build for whichever of the Metal Lords had held this territory in the past. The droids here had gone quite awhile without memory wipes, from his observations, as they displayed the quirks and unique personality traits they often did when left to their own devices for so long. It made him wonder just what exactly had caused their previous ruler to leave.

Rather than warships, the yards here had been used for building transports, both for troops and materials. A small ship carrying refined metals flew overhead, hanging a left before docking for a group of waiting pit droids. Once the ramp dropped, several carts were taken out and dragged to an assembly area before their contents were used to repair the structure. Though he had needed part of his skull to be replaced with a metal plate, and his brain altered with cybernetics, Errreembuhr could see very well that it was nearly falling apart even with the repairs.

"Hello," a mechanical voice stated from off to the side, drawing Errreembuhr's attention. "I am 9-LOM, herald of L-UKX, the overseer of these shipyards. Who are you?"

Errreembuhr's guards, themselves droids, silently watched on, weapons held to the side, though they were on high alert.

"I am Errreembuhr," he replied after removing the mask, allowing him to be heard in his native Shyriiwook. "Owner of Embers Ordnance, Droids, and Design. Tell me, 9-LOM, what happened here? Who was the Lord that held this planet?"

The protocol droid took a moment, likely processing his language through its translation device. "I'm afraid I do not know of whom you speak, Errreembuhr. My master has always been L-UKX. It has been so for as long as I can remember."

A mind wipe? Errreembuhr thought to himself as he pondered the droid's answer. Maybe they did it before abandoning the planet?

"Can you take me to your master? I would very much like to speak with him."

"My apologies, but it would be more correct to refer to my master as her. She was created with feminine programming."

Better to learn now than offend later.

"I see. I would like to speak with her then, 9-LOM."

With a mechanically-restricted nod, the droid motioned for Errreembuhr and his guards to follow. "Of course, sir. Right this way."

As he followed, the droids and drones around kept about their business, paying him little to no mind at all. There were quite a few of them, and Errreembuhr found himself holding on to hope that this overseer would see fit to join with him. With the proper repairs and maintenance they could definitely become a powerful workforce.

"Dorsis Control, this is Private Imura on CorSec patrol boat Turhaya. We're looking for a freighter or some type of personal yacht. I know you see quite a few pushing through daily but have you had any within the last thirty minutes giving off unusual signals? Or have you had any perceived microjumps?"

There was a touch of silence on the open line, some rustling from Dorsis Traffic Control. Delila shared a look with a few of the crew. Dorsis was under no obligation to really help them. CorSec and their jurisdiction ended on Corellia naturally. The redhead was on good terms with Free World Collation and there was a thought of going up the chain and paving the way for greater help. Fingers tapped on the console as she mulled over her options.

"One moment Turhaya."

There was a long sigh, annoyed. Delila made a motion to mute the channel.

"Really? Its not like we're asking for blood out of a stone."

He was being watched, he knew that CorSec was here and searching for him. That bit was obvious. He didn’t know how they had gotten his ship as the one carrying the goods. How many ships left Corellia on an hourly basis? Sure, there were more than a few, but he could hope for the best. Someone must have tipped them off. He needed to stop taking new clients when things were going poorly for him. The pilot shook his head and looked back at his droid.

“Ok, lets see if we can identify the best way out of here. I don’t think I’d have trouble getting through Alliance space, but that’s… not ideal.” He shook his head. He wasn’t going to try to microjump out of here, but pushing forward on sublight speeds and slow speeds at that, he was hoping to get to his jump point and through the checkpoint.

“Take a different route, they said. It’ll be fun, they said.” Gripping the controls, he fell in front of a larger ship, so its wake would hopefully disperse his own. From there, as long as CorSec didn’t get a positive ID on him… he’d be right as rain.

Until then, the New Killer Star was going to behave.

"Least they could do is give us hold music."

Turhaya had continued to scan the area as they waited. Needle in a haystack for sure. Dorsis was an ecumenopolis and traffic flowed heavy throughout the system. If Delila was being honest the vessel they had been tracking was most likely gone or hidden well in the thick traffic. Eyes narrowed as she looked out of the viewports, as if doing so would magically put the ship into focus.

"Turhaya, transmitting records from the last thirty minutes. We've had nearly two hundred vessels that fit the description. Good luck."

Traffic control clearly dumped whatever records they could find and would make them pick through. Lower ranking members quickly turned around in the chairs, starting to dig through the information provided. Until then they would swim around like a shark sniffing for prey.

"Private Imura, keep an eye on all scans. Private Perelo start pushing us through the traffic and see if we don't spot anything out of the ordinary."

Mercutio smirked as he looked over the map and listened.

"Easy fix for not knowing what's ahead. I'll go 'ninja status' and scout ahead. If I find any issues I'll report back, or, if it's not to worrisome, take care it myself. I mean come on boss, we've got two bad ass assassins and a sexy blonde, what do we REALLY have to worry about? Think you need a bit more confidence in yourself lady."

He said to Ra before reaching into each of his pockets and pulling free one side of a plain steel mask from each. Putting the two together they connected with *clink*

"I'll go ahead and get up on the roofs and start ahead "

He would then slowly slip the mask over his face. When he did it seemed as though his entire playful demeanor was gone. Even the look in his pale blue eyes became serious. Was it just because the mask made him look as such? Or did his entire mindset change just from putting it on?
Mercutio suddenly ran straight up the side of the building they were parked near, reaching the roof top with ease before looking down to his two companions as his visage disappeared, becoming cloaked by the force.

Stardust moved towards the map as she looked it over, she frowned a but seeing the multilevel city....this was gonna make things harder on the group, she glanced over to merc seeing him putting the mask on as she raised a brow. Oooo...spooky a bit certainly added flavor.

Stardust looked over to ra and laughed as she turned and spoke

I doubt anything in out path with cause much trouble, two masters of the force against likely people without proper defence against such? Sounds like training to me

She laughed as she looked towards the city, she glanced To her clan sister and spoke in a low voice

you seem troubled, do you think truelly the opposition we will face shall be such trouble?

She trusted ras' intuition, she looked back towards the city and started walking forward while letting her sense roam around a bit to maybe pick something or someone up

Come to me.

The voice was calling him in his sleep now. Being united with many of his artifacts, his affinity to the force was beginning to return to its former glory. Before, he only felt the call when he was near by- which forced him to use more conventional tracking methods. But something had changed when he obtained his sabers. Now he could hear the voice non-stop, accompanied by visions gifted to him by the force. Clues. They yearned to be whole once more.

Nexus initially did not understand, until a passing comment from one of his victims unlocked something in his mind. He was a monster, forged of fire and steal. Whilst his gauntlets and amulet certainly contained remnants of his power, it was his sword and his saber that he connected to most. Those were the takers of lives, and the givers of his legacy. Now with both in his possession, that left two final objects: His helmet, and his armor. One of which was here.

In his dreams, he saw a dense metropolis, and in recent events, something woke what ever it was that rested here. So he followed the call, and found himself here, on Dorsis. As he felt the familiar jarring tug of exiting hyperspace, the Dark Lord closed his eyes. Seated at the helm of the Morrigan, his newly acquired J Type Nubian Star Skiff, Nexus extended his mind towards the planet. He listened, through the force, waiting to hear the call.

Come to me...

With that, his eyes snapped open, no longer their natural blue, but crimson and gold with the dark side of the force. He gripped his control yolk and guided the ship down towards a public port. After the events on Coruscant, the Dark Lord had become a wanted man. This prospect did not daunt him however, as the footage showed a man with ashen hair and a matching beard. As such, he promptly removed his beard, revealing his bare chin, which was lined with Sith tattoos depicting a bestial lower jaw. Having reviewed the footage with the assistance of Morrigan, Nexus believed he had a good chance at evading detection. As he guided the vessel, he spoke out.

"Morrigan, please scan and upload any and all data in regards to Dorsis; cross reference them with potential locations for force anomalies."

The Serenno female voice responded promptly.

::Scanning now...::

"Wait..."

That was when he felt her. The one he had crossed paths with on Nar Shaddaa, Ra. Their conflict had left on an ambiguous note- but that was not what interested him. The fact that she was in the presence of the amulet, and now in the presence of another artifact, struck him as too strange of a coincidence to ignore.

::My lord, I implore...::

"Silence, Morrigan. I know where I must go..."

And with that, he shifted his control yolk, altering his trajectory towards the source of the disturbance. She was faint, but their conflict familiarized him with her aura, especially after the sink hole event. He followed the aura to the source. Given his current fugitive nature, he had to be more disciplined with the exposure of his aura, though his current affinity with his artifacts whispered his presence. They sought to be whole, and refused to be hidden.

Nexus guided his ship to the nearest public port near Ra's force aura. As to not make a scene, he paid the docking fee without protest, though he made it a point to alter the minds of his customs officials, as well as the porter. They turned a blind eye to his contents, and forgot that he was even there. On his manifest, thanks to the diligence of Morrigan, he was noted as Tulos Carrion, a merchant that specialized in trinkets and baubles.

After finally clearing customs, he made his way into the nearest alley, and reached out with the force, seeking to pinpoint Ra. After a few moments, he felt her, along with another. Not seeking to reveal his presence, he only glanced for a moment, before making his way in their general direction. He navigated through the alleys, walking in thick black robes, though his hood was not drawn as he sought to avoid suspicion. He slowly closed in on them, all the while, Ra could sense subtle reverberations of his presence.
