And it all hit the fan. The dogs attacked, the blasters started to fire; and in the midst of the chaos, Dex was pulled back by his son. Once he steadied himself, Dex quickly fell back to the Grand Hall, his hand flying to his utility belt to produce his comm-link. "All security teams to the Senate Grand Hall NOW!" He growled. There were many garbled responses over the radio and he estimated that there would be at least twenty guards burst through the doors in the next ten seconds. Nonetheless, his primary concern was not his own safety, but getting as many of the senators out as he could.

Dex took cover behind a column and returned to his utility belt, fishing out a small, silver remote with an azure button fixed to its center. He gave it a press and the button illuminated and began to blink slowly. T'was an interface for his personal vessel: a small cruiser built by Naboo engineers that could comfortably seat at least twelve. The interface commanded his ship to take off and to get to the Senate immediately. Once there, Dex would load up as many Senators as possible and get them to safety...now the only thing he could do was wait for the guards to arrive.

The Dreadlord grinned sickly wide as the the little green creature was tossed across the room. He had been bitten, meaning if he did not receive aid he would die, good. That was the biggest threat to him out of the way, now he would have to finished the others quickly as well. The Dreadlord raised a palm, catching the three blaster shots aimed at him within his gauntlet covered hand absorbing the shots with his palm.

Then in the next instant Moridin was up and across the room. Two curved lightsaber entered his palm and ignited in an instant. Before they could react Moridin sliced down three of the Republic Commando's, cutting them into bits from head to toe. Then in the next instant Moridin was on the other side of the of the room slicing into another set of Commandos

They too fell, and as they did Moridin flashed away again, cutting down the last of the guards without breaking a single bead of sweat. As the last of the Commando's fell down Moridin stood in the doorway of the Chancellor's chambers. He raised his left palm and shot out a massive burst of Sith Lightning towards the last commando and the high general.

He saw him coming and forced him into a traffic lane and he was swept away. "What was that" Hulnok said when he heard blaster fire coming from the chancellor's chamber. He rushed into the room and saw Teferi, Dex, the chancellor and a team of commandos confronting a man who appeared not to be a Jedi or a senator " need help?"

Teferi sat up from the hallway, chaos ensuing around him almost instantly. @[member="Hulnok yawon"] was asking if help was needed while people died around him. Teferi looked to his left and watched as Senator Drigg'bgg'igg'lggle was eaten alive by the last mutant pup, screaming in some language he didn't understand. All the meanwhile, a darkness spread up the green monk's leg, threatening to consume him.

The world spun. Teferi focused on holding the poisonous darkness at bay with only the powers a Jedi could, and hobbled back up to his feet, igniting his lightsaber once more. As the Sith Lord exerted a power of the dark side, Force Lightning, he held up his hand and sent a shattering wave of the Force to throw Moridin back into the Chancellor's Office, and hopefully keep his threat contained.

Ned couldn't believe his eyes, yet all that he saw just happened. Like nothing, the entirety of his squad, trained ELITE Commandos, were cut down as if they were training dummies. That was more than enough motivation for Ned to move. He sprinted out of the Chancellor's chambers, slid down to a single knee, and engaged the emergency close upon the doors. They came close with a solid thud just as the maelstrom of lightning came crashing into it, unable to break through the thick, blast-proof metal. The Commando didn't stop there. He reached into his utility belt and tossed three proximity grenades in front of the door. The instant the Sith Lord burst his way through, which Ned was fully sure that he was able to, he'd be greeted by a wonderful explosion that could easily reduce him to a pile of ash.

"Pop," Ned breathed, jogging over to where his father was taking cover, "please tell me you've got a game plan." That said, he dropped to a knee and readied his rifle once more.

Moridin moved to the side, ceasing his lightning attack and dodging the hulking alien. Unfortunately this also lead to him not seeing the Jedi Master hop back up. A wave of the force struck him, sending him flying backwards into the council chamber. He flew backwards into the Chancellors desk, breaking the heavy wood into two. SPlinters flew in the air, and almost instantly Moridin was back up, regaining his composure.

The Dreadlord Scowled, and flourished his Lightsabers crossing them and sending out a loud Hiss. Moridin looked at the door, and watched it for a few seconds. He didn't dare move out into the hallway where he was entirely outgunned. He needed the Jedi to die first.

"I've got us covered Ned." Dex said, immensely grateful that his only son had survived the encounter with the Sith. "We've got security teams incoming, along with my ship. We need to round up the survivors when it comes and get them out of here." The veteran rose to his feet and jogged over to the far side of the room. He came to a crouch once more, taking cover behind another column, and continued to await the arrival of the security teams.

"Sir Captain Hawk is requesting a sit-rep?"
"Tell him we don't know yet, and I want his trucks to set-up a parameter on the building. Navy Assualt Teams are landing their gunships on the entryway as we speak."
.. "And the ships sir?"
"Task all gunships to air-superiority. Nothing in or out."
.. "Sir we are getting requests for evacuation."
"Understood. Task Hawk's men to aid in the ground evacuation. I want all Navy Gunships on over-watch and air-superiority."
.. "Sir we have Senators on the balcony."
"Relay their location to the Navy Squads. Add a way-point on their HUD. Taylor, I need a CCC (Crisis Command Center) online. Right now!!!"

Pherson remained at his radio and scrambling.

Kaine watched the chaos unfold with cold, calculated eyes. The plan was going rather well, crude and unsubtle as it was, but well. With Lord Moridin and his hounds occupying the main assortment of guards and Jedi, Kaine was free to roam where he pleased with minimal difficulties, and he quickly fled from the area and up into the higher levels of the building. Kaine slowly stalked the halls, making sure he was rather alone with the terrible commotion downstairs, and slipped into a room, locking the door behind him. Once inside he pried open a control panel and withdrew a datapad from his person, and connected a cable from the datapad into the panel's innerworkings and began to hack into the mainframe of the building. Kaine planned to upload a virus, a virus that would remain dormant within the vastness of the Republic's cybernetic systems until it was called upon to be used against the Republic. Kaine just hoped that the confusion was enough to evade detection and make this as smooth as possible.

At this point in time, Teferi was badly wounded and breathing heavily. He limped into the office with @[member="Moridin"].

"Why now?"

He brandished his lightsaber, beads of sweat dropping from his forehead.

Moridin chuckled slightly at the green alien, the tiny man was dying. he wondered if his Hounds poison moved faster through the Jedi's blood stream he was after all rather small. Behind the little green man Moridin's sixth hound slowly encroached. The beast growled silently as it took up a pouncing stance. The Dreadlord stopped it form jumping for a few moments, with a command of the force.

"A Test. It is all a test." Moridin said with a grin. Then the hound bounded forward jumping at Teferi with a quick brandishing of it's claws.

Hulnok was lying on the ground a few feet from Moridin. No matter what happened Hulnok would die unless he could crawl away, break the window and grappling hook up to the roof of the building. That sounds ridiculous he thought. He forced Moridin into the wall to give the surviving troops and Jedi some time to get up

Again since Moridin was not occupied by anything else the Dreadlord sidestepped the hulking alien. The young Jedi was not fast enough, and truthfully his actions were quite predictable. Moridin was far more weary of the Jedi Master across the room. His hound was no match for the man, and the Sith Lord was well aware of this.

In an instant, two smoking halves of the hound lay in front of Teferi, a blood mist settling around the Jedi Master as he brandished his lightsaber towards the Sith Lord.

One did not simply pounce a 500 year old Jedi Master, especially if you reeked of the Dark Side.

"You will not....survive....this." Teferi glanced at his Padawan, @[member="Hulnok yawon"]. "Leave us. Go and check on the General, and safely escort him to the docking bay."

.. "Commander I have local assets on the line. Police Chief Hammond for you."
"Put him through."
.. "Commander, this is Chief Hammond. We are getting reports of a evacuation order on the tower. What can you tell me."
"Thats correct Mr Hammond. We are assuming it is a terrorist attack and I am currently moving my men inside. Advise you get your men to clear the streets and alert the local hospitals. I want clear traffic in all adjacent sectors. Copy."
.. "I hear you Commander. Local police will be clearing the streets and we'll let the hospitals know. Anything else?"
"At this time no. Thank Chief. Navy out."
.. "Sir? Captain Hawk is prepping the War Room at Echo for a CCC scenario. His staff is almost ready to com-traffic from you."
"Good. Transfer all radio command to his CCC the moment it is up. I'm getting airborne. ...Taylor! Let's get this bird moving! Let's go, let's go, let's go!!!"

Captain Hawk at Echo Base was scrambling a CCC to coordinate all military and local assets in this theater. In only moments their actions would be complete and the entire situation on a CCC holoboard. Pherson boarded his gunship and prepared to take off. He wanted in this fight personally.

The Dreadlord grinned widely as his hound yelped and died by the blade of the Jedi Master. How old was this creature he wondered? He knew that Yoda had lived to be thousands of years old. Or at least in the high hundreds. He was not the greatest student of History, but he knew that this particular species was rather long lived. He looked at the creature, and spun the lightsaber within his palms. The two blades struck the floor, carving deep glowing lines into the floor, then they struck each other hissing loudly.

"We shall see who survives Jedi. The poison is already in your blood." With that Moridin dashed forward. He was not used to fighting such a tiny opponent, but he would make due. Four hundred years ago he had been the one and only blademaster of the Sith, he would test if he could still hold that title. Moridin sent a heavy downward slice towards the tiny creature and at the same time sent his other blade slicing upwards from the floor.
