Sakura Station

Rianna caught that the woman had not answered her question, which only led the her to believe the woman hid a secret. Which was dangerous when working around equipment, and personnel. While she would trust Matsu's judgement she did not know this other and would out of instinct and habit be weary of her.

Rianna looked however at the information that Taiden had. She was not impervious to disease she had often fallen sick in prior outings, she reached for a mask. While taking in the details.

NO mention of how it spread, how it spread was key. "We need to know the source, and we need additional testing to discover what it is exactly doing to them. While the symptoms are all that of a cold which still has no cure after all these centuries"

Rianna stepped forward and noticed something right off, "Taiden, the gel packs. How were they shipped?" Sometimes it was the most innocuous thing that created such havoc.

Matsu continued to work with the one Echani and gave a nod seeing her work. The massive station was continuing to be worked on while the sounds of the droids manufacturing down below in the bowls of it came up some of the lifts. The massive lift shafts were made to be quick and all around along with built in trams otherwise walking around the station would take days to get from one area to the next with her own energies going to the walls as they glowed with rich blue veins of lightside force energy. "That is good and now that we have some time. We can work on the other major things of the station. Specificially the synthweaving that has gone into it. We want to influence it with the lightside to be structurally stronger then it looks and that is why we have used the weave we created. It will also make darksiders standing within it uneasy."

There was a whole lot of new information coming across her screen, mostly in terms of what they could see or could do. The silver haired woman was prepared for anything that might be coming to the Republic. as the new director of technology she was very much able to work out and work with some of the new technology they had been developing. Matsu was here helping construct in the medical section of the station, the Republic director could find use for having this to handle evaced civilians from planets as well as a purpose of developing and constructing ships in the massive station when she was working with it. She knew the drydocks here that they were able to use and had a portion of them working would benefit the Sentinel initiative from [member="Beckett Wrath"] who had plans for better ships within the republic. "Send a message to the admiral, we'll work with them and begin construction when we can for the ships he likes and wants to make."

[member="Katagiri Ike"]

The Messaged arrived in Beckett's offices quite quickly. It was good that more of the Republic was taking interest in the Sentinel Initiative, and committing actual resources to it, rather than vague statements of supports. With the invitation received the Vice-Admiral and a small group of escorts made their way to Sakura station, and Beckett was brought up to the manufacturing deck of the massive installation, perhaps here he might be able to find support for his latest concept, a Super-Heavy Fighter, codenamed "Guardian"

[member="Beckett Wrath"]

She got the confirmation and was sending the information to him on where to go. A small look on her face while the attention to the details came when the director started walking to go and meet him when she clasped her hands behind her back. "Meet me on the observation deck when you ship docks. We will get it into the dry dock and prepared for anything." She said it while confirming it with Matsu and giving her all of the attention before they pushed forward with some of the bigger thoughts of the station. "We should be abel to change with some of the modules in place while constructing it. The self sustaining modules will serve a bette rpurpose for each room in keeping it uniform."

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Matsu continued to work through and look over all of the things they were doing, reports from the manufacturing levels as well as the hospital as it was being set up appeared to her while she clasped her hands behind her back offering a small smile to herself. Some of the others came around when she grew more interest until Katagiri her half sister was reporting they had meets set with other members of the Republic who could come and provide them with a number of different things such as ship contracts as well as a way to reclaim some of the older ships they had worked on such as the Watts. That was the primary focus to start rebuilding and reproducing a sustainable level of products and equipment.

Ultimatum had learned of the production through a belated transmission sent through one of his HoloNet channels. He had looked forward to seeing what this station was truly like. The potential for what was being built was such that he hoped it would meet his expectations. After all, he had his own plans regarding massive starships and stations. This would be a good opportunity to view at least parts of what it would require.

Thus when he arrived at the station and docked he hardly expected a welcome. He believed it likely that he would need to find his way to [member="Matsu Ike"]. The droid hoped that he would be remembered positively, he definitely remembered her. The small fighter craft was practically invisible compared to the majesty of the mighty vessel. Yes this was what he had been looking for. This was the awe that he wished to evoke in organics.

Matsu received the message as she was going over the different things that were there. The jedi master was looking over the different sections of the station being shown on the display with a hologram. She had set it up do mimic the Saratai but on a larger scale, with three times the size of their manufacturing plant planned plus extra as well as the fact it was going to be massive in size as well it would give the converters and setup the ultimate shipyard. "Welcome to the Crucible class project." She was looing at it to be for the most part the major and massive project of Sakura itself as it was a massive hospital, the others who were working on things came to mind when she was working with some of the jedi like her half sister or her friend Domino.

The young Anzat was unloading computer parts.

A station this size was going to need a sizable amount of IT support to manage the data it was handling on a routine basis. And that kind of processor power wasn't cheap. He hoped [member="Matsu Ike"] had remembered to set aside space for dedicated server rooms, because it was going to take a virtual village to raise this little beast.

And in the meantime, was there a McYodas or anything? Because he could use a cookie while he worked on installing all of this.

...and maybe a milk shake.

Matsu was glad that there were some coming to the station now, the support systems it would need and the harder amounts of work required would be letting people beef it up. After the work they had done on Boz Pity to get it up and running along with some of the information on Kessel... this had been made to work with the massive Saratai factory ships which were working on creating copies of it so they could have better production when it was needed. She had a few ideas so they could give all of it once the other systems were being brought online when she was walking to go and meet some of the others who brought in the systems and skills needed to really get the entire beast of a station going.

The station was coming along nicely, they had worked on many fo the things and provided many more for some of the stuff that was happening. With the new information about attacks and problems, there was a chance that a station such as this would provide and give them some things. If they wanted to buy it at least, in the long run this was a non republic project that could be bought by the republic for some of the things they were developing much like one of the massive Saratai's that were docked underneath it. The massive factory ship pumping out the needed supplies while she was sending the information to get some republic guards out here for herself as well as a chance to work with the chancellor and show it off to him along with a number of other supplies that had been developed that the republic would be able to use.

The problem with starbase infrastructure is there were a million things that could go wrong.

And more often than not, you were left hunting for that one-in-a-million issue to sort out why the overhead holo-displays weren't functioning.

It could be a mechanical issue with the holoprojectors. It could be a power supply fault. It could be a hard wire connection was broken, or disconnected, or faulty -- which meant having to trace all fifteen kilometers of fiber cable. It could be a software control issue. Hell, it could be radical sunspot activity in the southern hemisphere, which reversed the magnetic polarity of the solar fields impacting the station, which caused electromagnetic interference.

The life of a network engineer was not for the faint of heart.

Crossing his arms before his chest, the small Anzat stared up at the blank space where the holo-monitors were supposed to have been projected and pondered just where he wanted to begin un-karking this Scooby mystery.

The young Nautolan set the case down on the stage that was still being built.

[member="Matsu Ike"] had pulled some kind of favors with somebody she knew for her one time crystal cutting student, and now the boy was opening for Krayt Pearl Jam at a charity concert to celebrate the opening of Sakura Station, with proceeds benefiting the Galactic Alliance relief efforts on Coruscant.

Opening the case, the green skinned teen pulled out a seven-stringed hallikset. Pulling it up into his arms, the strummed and tuned the strings for a moment. Then seemed to think twice about it, returned it to the case by his feet and stepped off stage to find something else. When he returned, he was carrying a bass mando. Strumming that for a minute, the boy just cycled through a variety of keys and notes as he adjusted the frets and tension on the strings.

After another moment, he had started to build up a rhythm. His foot tapping the stage in time to the music. His head-tails began to undulate, as his head was bobbing. Soon his whole body seemed to be in motion, moving and swaying in time with the beat.

"Hear the sirens..."

Fingers dancing up the neck of the instrument, the boy's voice rang out like a note from a bell. Raw with youth, yet resonate and strong.

"Hear the sirens...."

Some of the workers on the station stopped to listen, as the impromptu practice became an on-the-spot concert as the young Nautolan warmed up and played. It was his own cover to one of Krayt Pearl Jam's latest hits on the ATC Billboard Charts.

"Hear the sirens. Hear the circus so profound," the boy sang, as he transitioned from out of the opening lyrics to the substance of the song itself. "Hear the sirens. More and more in this ol' town..."

What was a polar bear doing here?

At the moment, helping to set up for a concert.

Why, you ask? Does there need to be a reason? I mean, really, why wouldn't a polar bear be setting up for a space rock concert? It was a space rock concert for feth's sake!

In other words, Kiriko had just become a roadie.

Good luck explaining to him just what a roadie was. Or even a rock concert for that matter. He was from a small island in the arctic seas of Midvinter. Until yesterday, he hadn't even known what a space station was, and now he was helping to build on.

Well, he was doing what he was told anyway. Which, at the moment was to move some black boxes containing musical instruments off a floating palette thing and set them on the stage.

Two humans were struggling to lift a box off the palette. The small bear just walked underneath them, picked the box up in the middle, and walked off with it as though it were no trouble at all.

There was a whole lot of things going on in here now, Matsu was looking at the concert being set up and it was quite a sight to behold, more so there was the added benefit of the workers who were handling things getting to see some of the work they have been doing. Her half sister was working on many of the things while providing information about what they were developing in the drydocks for themselves with a chance for the others who were working. The information and the technology of the station was designed for the small repair droids to be able to get into if they needed it when she was looking voer the screens and displays bringing up for the hardlight projectors the station itself with the schematics to help in the application of services. She knew Corellian digital was skilled but this place was massive and maybe between all of the rooms there would be a couple hundred kilometers of cable with the ten kilometer by ten kilometer stations. Though she could see the concert from the view screen

ooc: preforming a small time skip to have construction continue and the benefit concert can be set up and in full swing with donations. For new writers to come and help out since the others dropped out.

There was a small look on her face with this, Katagiri couldn't believe it while she went over some of the contracts from the different things they had done as well as some of the new improvements and design specs of the station. They were replacing and overhauling it with new design features which would in her opinion hopefully make it one of the most beneficial station around able to copy and improve the manufacturing processes when it came to devices such as the astrometrics and holographic hardlight suite. New projectors, new methods thanks to the Saratai factory ships the station had to back it up in its construction and to share the manufacturing methods they needed. She was standing there in the overseers penthouse of the residential districts within the station while she was overlooking it and more messages for those who wanted to come and help get in one this large project went out. Those who wanted a contract with a large company for their own place int he galaxy were free, the benefit concert was in full swing while she moved over to cross her arms with a grin. "Let us see who comes and lets get this into full swing."

Description: Designed by Sasori and Phenex as a massive endeavor and a be all end all to their major lines of stations. One large one able to link up and have supplies or support from dozens of the smaller ones as it is needed. The station itself divided into three main layers as the massive size and scope of it few of the engineers have been able to replicate or copy.

The first tier of it is a massive dry dock and construction yard taking three of the ten kilometers within the station. The lower sections of it and the outer hull where it is able to dock vessels to the stations for people and supplies. Construction efforts and cargo haulers can bring in more supplies as it is able to repair and fit ships for services to keep the stations running.

The large central spike coming off the bottom of the station contains more processing and some of the primary docking ports for other ships. Allowing them to link up and avoid the outer ports. Lifts going up it as well as a massive section of residential housing is there for the people who want to get away from the bigger things on the station for something peaceful.

The second tier is a large medical research and hospital that serves the station to protect the residents as well as the people of the outer rim or core worlds. Wherever they are deployed within the governments that purchase them. The self sustaining and manufacturing parts of the station can keep them stocked for what they need when they need it. Allowing them to operate should another darkness come.

The third tier of the station is large housing and training centers, schools and stores for everything. A massive trade hub that anyone can find work on and work to develop themselves into homes and apartments that can be used. Massive pathways across the empty space where people can go to visit massive gardens or lake style modules that grow plants and raise animal for the station.

As they have worked on the expansion and growth of the stations, with Elara and Taiden as well as Kei providing help Matsu was able to really and fully utalie it. Constructing the first of them over New holstice to give Sakura Welfare one of the medical groups in the galaxy a hospital as well as offices to her other divisions so they could preserve and continue to maintain the jedi monument on the planet.

With the first of many stations acting as a temple much like Exis Temple station the rising Phenex class Orbital multipurpose station would serve in a limited role to what they could build. Made as the ultimate civilian station with minimal weapons and decent hull plating but the real purpose is how useful it can be for the major governments who seek to buy them across the galaxy. Construction on a case by case basis instead of just offering a line of them.

Ultimatum was given directions to [member="Matsu Ike"], once he had explained his reason for being here. Certainly he had gotten a strange look or two, probably due to his design and droid status. It was a few minutes before he reached the Jedi, the station was truly massive and he had taken some time to be certain he did not get lost. The station was a marvel and he hoped that he could assist in some way. When at last he reached the Jedi he was surprised to find a concert being set up. He did not have a care about music, at least not in the contemporary genre. He focused his attention on the organic he had come to see.

"Greetings again Madam Ike. It is good to see you again."

With all of the work that was going on she had to look it over, kilometers of wiring and all the work they had going on. She could work with it while also handling some of the bigger things. She could see where they were constructing the interior with some of the other things they had gotten. "Greetings." She said it looking at the large droid with a look on her face while they were showing all of the station on the hardlight with the sensors of the of the people and droids that were working over it. "I hope you are enjoying the sight of the station and all of the work we have been working on it." A bow of her head though seeing some of the other droids that were working on things all over.

The bass mando had a strong, resonate note to it.

But the Nautolan definitely preferred the versatility of the seven-stringed hallikset.

Passing the mando off to one of the roadies, the young Nautolan bent down to lift the hallikset from out of the case. Plugging the guitar-like instrument into the jack, the youth strummed the chords to be certain that everything was tuned how he wanted it. When his fingers hit the first note, it was with a rapid-fire pace that sent a quickly forming melody through the impromptu concert stage.

"Long as I remember... the rain been comin' down."

Maybe it was just a song.

"Clouds of mystery fallin', confusion on the ground. Good men through the ages tried to find the sun...."

Maybe it was a metaphor. If it was, it was a good allegory for the Jedi-Sith War. For the struggle that had caused so much pain for so many. Coruscant was just the latest in planets affected and afflicted by the constant turmoil and chaos.

But if for just a little while, Zak could get people's minds off the war. And raise credits to help the people of Coruscant... wasn't that more worthwhile than just being another Jedi waving a lightsaber around and running off to challenge mysteries they barely understood?

"...and I wonder, still I wonder, who'll stop the rain?"

Roadie Bear was handed one of the instrument things.

He had no idea what it was. But as the green one with the head-tails passed it to him, the little bear at least understood that it was with the intent that the instrument be returned to one of those black cases that the roadies had been loading and unloading all day.

Short legs moving, the small white Beorni dashed from the stage with the bass mando in hand, ready to return it to its resting place, as the concert began to come together while the set-up was completed.

Though, with all the workers watching the green one practice, Kiriko wondered if they were ever going to get finished.
