TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
STANDARD FEATURES
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Primary Weapon Battery (MWB) - Stargazers' MWB provides enough firepower to punch through most Capital Ships and threaten SSD.
  • Omni Sensors - Equipped with Providence Sensor Array, the Reliant can detect ships with Stealth technologies within a certain range.
  • Citadel - While equipped with a traditional bridge, many of the Stargazer's command functions can be routed to the Citadel, a fortified command hub built around the central computer core. This affords maximum protection for Command staff.
  • Diverse Crew - The Crew is made up of both civilian and military personnel each an expert in their field.
WEAKNESSES
  • Forward Firepower - The MWB is a fixed mount. If flanked the weapon cannot be used against that target.
  • Twin Engines - The Reliant has two primary engines, significantly less than those of similarly sized ships.
  • Super matter Crystal Delamination - The main powerplant generates power by activating Superdense Exotic Materials. This reaction produces Plasma and Radiation which is collected and converted into usable energy. This provides an immense amount of power but the system is complex, and if damaged can cause the reaction to become uncontrolled. In the event this happens, the crystal will begin to lose cohesion if not brought under control, or vented (leaving the ship on backup) the resulting explosion will destroy the ship and heavily damage anything nearby. A complete meltdown takes 10~15 minutes.
  • Corporate Interests - The Crew's diversity comes at a cost, typically with conflicting views and opinions on how and when the RTL Reliant should be used or deployed.
  • Atha - Atha shields do not protect themselves and may be individually targeted to weaken turret defences.

DESCRIPTION

The Reliant is an avant-garde Star Destroyer and currently serving as the Flagship of the Rimward Trade League's response fleet. Designed by a multi-organisational team the Reliant is an exhibition of what can be achieved by Corporations pooling resources and working with the Rimward Trade League to push the boundaries of science and technology.

Hello there!

Very interesting submission, and kudos for corralling a metaphorical herd of manufacturers for this project. It's clear this is something you've put a lot of thought into.

That said, there are a few issues that are currently standing in the way of final approval. Please address all of these items, and tag me once done for final review. So let's get after it:

  • OOC INFORMATION:
    • Permissions:
      • The link provided for the ‘Rimward Trade League’ is not an adequate permission for... anything really, as it’s just a link to the faction itself. While it's presence isn't in and of itself a template/rule violation, it could cause confusion because the link isn't giving you permission to use anything. Consider removing this, but it's not required.
      • I do not see any permissions to use ‘Starchaser Enterprises’ as a manufacturer. Please acquire this and revise accordingly.
  • TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: (Please note, because this section will require a moderate level of revisions, this section is subject to re-review and potentually further revisions after said review.)
    • Armament: You cannot have different ratings for different ‘facings’ of the ship. All of the ship’s facings are what result in its overall armament rating. So please choose between either an overall armament rating of ‘average’, ‘very high’ or whatever else tickles your fancy provided you’re balanced across all other ratings.
    • Hangar Space: You must assign a rating, ranging from ‘none’ to ‘extreme’ to this heading. Simply listing the quantity is not adequate.

Martin Draigo Martin Draigo thanks for the review and feedback. I believe I have addressed your concerns noted above and made some slight tweaks. The tweaks are primarily adding extra links where it felt suitable to do so and cleaning up some grammar/spelling.

Everything looks good, except for the leaving of the 'forward arc' blurb for the armament rating. I really must insist that this be removed for the previously mentioned reasons.

Once this is removed in its entirety, we should be good to go.
