WHAT IS ROGUE LANCE?
Bestowed with the moniker that harkens back to legendary forces such as the Rogue Squadron and the Army of Light, Rogue Lance, is an autonomously-commanded Lightsworn Jedi Strike Force. Unlike the small-personnel commando-operations focused Lightsworn Strike Teams, Rogue Lance is a slightly larger force with a dedicated starship and Non-Force-User combatant complement. It is designed to be a permanent crusading strike flotilla and ground force that can rotate its composition of Lightsworn Jedi and NFU combatants as needed for specific missions in tours of service. As such Rogue Lance are allowed to autonomously roam deep into enemy territory and cause as much logistical, psychological, and material damage as possible to their Darksider foes. Creativity, ingenuity, strategy, and zeal are prioritized in Rogue Lance, as oftentimes, they are left to their own devices to execute their missions and get themselves out of any deep fight they engage in.
WHO ARE THE ROGUE LANCE?
The Lord Seneschal, Knight Sergeants, Knight Errants, and Oathsworn
The overall Commanding Officer of the Rogue Lance is the Lightsworn Jedi assigned as its Lord Jedi Seneschal. The Seneschal is assisted by two Second-in-Commands, known as Jedi Knight Sergeants. The Knight Sergeants command the various Lightsworn Jedi Strike Teams adhoc created for each specific tour of service that Rogue Lance disembarks on.
Those Jedi that are assigned to Rogue Lance as Knight Sergeants are rotated so that all Lightsworn Jedi are given the chance to experience leadership and battle in the field. The only position that isn't rotated is the Seneschal who remains Rogue Lance's permanent C.O. Should the Seneschal be needed elsewhere one of the King Sergeants is temporarily made C.O. under the title of Lance Commander.
Under the command of Knight Sergeants are various Knight Errants, Jedi Knights that are junior in battlefield experience, and then the Oathsworn, Jedi Padawans. Together they contribute to the leadership and combat within Rogue Lance's Jedi Strike Teams.
The Star Castellan and Mareshcale of the Swornguard
The Star Castellan is the NFU commander of all starships assigned to the Rogue Lance and command fleet actions while the Jedi Strike Force is deployed afield. With the Jedi is the Mareschale of the Swornguard, commander of all NFU Volunteer Troopers who assist the Jedi and are thus named as the Swornguard.

Story-wise TALES OF THE LIGHTSWORN: ROGUE LANCE takes the daredevil piloting and behind-enemy-lines missions of the X-WING Novels, mixed with the grander Jedi vs Empire storytelling of the JEDI ACADEMY book, all wrapped around an aesthetic of Jedi Crusaders and their Troopers akin to the Clone Wars TV Show and Comics.
It is designed to be an action packed, high drama, and Jedi-NFU Relationship developing story. Those who join the unit and its story, join a recurring cast of characters that will appear in Lightsworn's participation in Invasions, Skirmishes, Diplomatic, and Character Developing Threads. Get stuck into Jedi-Padawan RP as your characters man the Rogue Lance's Knight Sergeants and Knight Errants. Or develop a Jedi-Clone Trooper style RP with your Knight Errant and their companion Swornguard Troopers. Or be a hotshot pilot, allying with friendly spacers in a daring raid on enemy ships in exciting dogfight skirmishes! There are endless possibilities.

If you are an independent/unaffiliated Lightside Jedi looking for action packed and involved RP with the greater conflict in the galaxy but, also the space to develop Master-Padawan Stories with your fellow Jedi - then we want you in the Rogue Lance (and the Lightsworn)! Allies from other Lightside Factions are MORE than welcome! Join a Rogue Lance story as a recurring cameo character and get to know the Rogue Lance and its character too!
SPACERS/PILOTS/WARDENS OF THE SKY
This wouldn't be a Rogue Squadron inspired unit without hotshot pilots, daring spacers, gunslinging wardens of the sky, and a motley crew of helpeful Han Solo type smugglers and wayfarers. You don't have to be a Jedi to be in Rogue Lance - on the contrary the more NFU's the better! Come be our wingmen, be our less-than-reputable allies and friends. I would LOVE to have some of the Jedi in the Lightsworn have a Han/Lando or a Kyle Katarn to help them on their missions!
THE SWORNGUARD
Just like the Spacers and Pilots - you CAN'T DO Jedi General style Clone Wars RP without TROOPERS! Come be our volunteer crusaders! Develop a battleborne relationship with a Jedi and be each other's support in the thick of the fighting! In the Rogue Lance stories wont just be Jedi v Force User brawls, but sprawling dynamic stories full of blastfire, artillery fire, and battles where you are outnumbered and outgunned....BUT NEVER OUTMATCHED!
