A light rises to meet the darkness.
Let the crusade begin.

"We conjured an army from nothing... We turned freighters into warships... We traveled through many systems, conquered all that the dark ones placed in our way, and arrived on Ruusan. Here we fought seven terrible battles... Battles in which thousands of Jedi died. In spite of their superior numbers, in spite of their brutality, in spite of their willingness to invoke the dark side of the Force, the Brotherhood of Darkness lost all but two of those engagements. Only one choice remains to them... and that's surrender."
―Lord Hoth

The Lightsworn are a militant order bound to the light side of the Force. Formed of Jedi Lords who have are oathbound to protect and preserve, and wayseekers who walk beside them in spirit if not in name, they are a host forged for purpose. The Lightsworn do not concern themselves with courts or laws. Theirs is a holier purpose, called from the force. They are many blades, drawn as one to strike at the heart of Bogan. To obtain true, lasting peace they believe the engines of tyranny must be broken and corruption burned away. Only by casting down the empires of darkness can the light endure.
The Lightsworn were born of a fracture within the New Jedi Order. In the face of a waning resolve, several Watchmen declared lordship over their protectorates, serving as sword and shield against surging chaos. Becoming wardens and warriors both, they shielded their peoples with unmatched loyalty. These Lords proclaimed that the Jedi had strayed from their path, forgetting the ways of old - that they were bound to confront the darkness.
Cries rose for reckoning—against those who consorted with the dark, who cloaked their own misdeeds in moral ambiguity, who stood idle while evil gathered strength. The call to war was renewed, not with ceremony, but with fire. In a single breath of defiance, the Ruusan Reformation was cast aside. In its place, the Hirata Reformation was declared—a return to strength, to duty, and to the unflinching light.
