STANDARD FEATURES
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Semi-Autonomous Operation
    • Advanced Droid Brain, Limited Heuristic Processors
    • Optional Manual Override
  • 'Hive-Mind' Protocols
    • Coordinates with other units on the same network
    • Instantaneous sharing of data between units and source-receiver
  • Tracking and Patrol Protocols
    • Tracking enhances the detection and datafeed of a specified target or targets
    • Patrolling sets a general area for which the drone observes; parameters for hostile target detection can be modified at operator discretion
  • Air Evasion, Anti-Detection Protocols
  • Advanced Sensor Suite gives detail
  • Encrypted Two-way Network
    • Secure connection with source controller
    • Message transmission encrypter/decrypter logarithms; military integration
  • Redundancy Sensor Suite
  • Reflective paneling, mirroring the environment surrounding it
STRENGTHS
  • Observer: The Ramoth is well equipped for its primary role: surveillance. With an advanced sensor suite and additional redundant sensor systems, as well as a secure network through which it coordinates with other drones and its operator, the Ramoth can stealthily observe a battlefield or area. This makes the drone key for gathering intel or establishing security in an area.
  • Well-Protected: The drone is both durable and features many different anti-detection systems.
WEAKNESSES
  • On the Defensive: The drone features no offensive armory and has no way to strike against a hostile individual should it come under attack, relying on friendly forces to support it.
  • Not Fully Autonomous: The drone relies on a central operator or control computer for surveillance functionality.
DESCRIPTION
The RM-VR05 Ramoth Semi-Autonomous Surveillance Drone is meant to be a comprehensive system that bolsters intelligence gathering and security of the consumers. Built to be manually operated, operate semi-independently (with a base controller to observe and coordinate if necessary) and hive mind protocols that allow it to automatically coordinate with other drones on the same network, the Ramoth can create a detailed live observation of any given surroundings.

At the core of the drone is the powerful Saja sensor suite system, which allows the drone to acquire a comprehensive and detailed analysis of any given area with a ride range. This data is broadcasted as a live feed on a secure two-way network between the drone and the base 'controller,' the operator, vehicle, or another hardpoint from which the drone was deployed. This network can host multiple drones, creating a hive mind that creates an even more comprehensive observation system that adds somewhat-necessary redundancy should a single drone be destroyed.

These drones are not designed to be easily destroyed, however. The drones are extremely durable, well armored with countermeasure systems and even limited shield capabilities. In addition, the drone features anti-sabotage and anti-detection systems, such as the Alviss electronic countermeasures package and reflective paneling allowing the drone to somewhat effectively camouflage in its surrounding environment.

Altogether, the Ramoth is a system that comes with extreme utility and will be very useful in a wide range of situations and deployments.
