  • Unit Name: Ri Akir | The Lovers
  • Affiliation: Eternal Empire / Spear | The Sith Empire / The Primyn Group
  • Classification: Support unit, sorcerers.
  • Description: Male and female individuals are fully distinguishable, in their case, despite being demons, it is very well separated. They are a couple, their actions also reflect this, they are important to each other, they care about each other. They are able to communicate telepathically with each other, helping and complementing each other in all areas, caring for and guarding the other until their deaths. They basically obey the summoner if they feel they understand them, but the most important thing to each other, if any of them are in danger, the priority for the other will be to save their own lover, and they will not care about the sorcerer's commands.

  • Unit Size: Small (2 members only)
  • Unit Availability: Rare (they can only be summoned in pairs)
  • Unit Experience: Elite
  • Equipment: N/A
  • Combat Function: The Lovers are basically auxiliary, support units are usually used in the back rows. They are not warriors, but sorcerers who deal with mind, emotion, and energy manipulation. In addition to these, they are users of blood magic. These abilities make them a great fit to confuse the enemy with various illusions or to lose their fighting spirit. But they also have the ability to increase morale on their own side. In melee, you can’t really take advantage of them because they can only defend themselves from the enemy with a telekinetic shield at most.
Strengths:
  • Sorcerer and Magic: Master-level Force Users (sorcery), their repertoire consists mainly of energy manipulation, emotion manipulation (the female is stronger in this), illusions, affect mind and blood magic (the male is stronger in this).
  • Attraction and Dread : They are great at working together, and they have the ability to help. The female demon is able to enchant, enchant others with her gaze and thereby lure the victim to her. It’s a form of hypnosis using telepathy and mind tricks. And the male demon is able to generate such a level of fear in the enchanted person that it freezes from fear.
  • Lovers: They are closely related, there is a very strong Force-bond, or Dyad between them. As a result, they can share their power with each other and thus become even stronger. But the half who shares power with the other is incapable of doing anything but maintaining this process, so it is completely vulnerable.
  • Defence: Because they haven't outstanding protection against any attack and are vulnerable to anything, their bodies are like armour on them. This, how the anima imbued them gives them a protection so they can’t be killed right away.
Weaknesses:
  • The Light Side: The Light Side Force effects have a greater effect on them, making them more sensitive to them.
  • Grief and Sorrow: Because there is a close bond between them, if one manages to destroy the other he also perishes, he does not survive the death of its lover. They cannot live without each other.
  • Vulnerable: They are sensitive to all kinds of damage, so they can also be damaged by Force, energy-based weapons and physical damage.
  • Emotions: The spell needed to summon it was written during deep emotional trauma, and this has an impact on demons as well. When someone is deeply mourning their lover, or just in great love, it is much easier to summon demons. It’s harder without emotions, and if someone lacks those emotions, the Lovers refuses to obey and can turn against the summoner.
  • Blood-thirst: In addition to their feelings for each other, there is one thing they desire more than anything, blood. They would do anything to get blood.
  • Protection: As their name suggests, they are lovers, so if one gets into trouble, the other’s primary job will be to protect its lover at all costs, even if it’s exactly the opposite of what their summoner ordered.

Note: Of course, both male-male and female-female couples are possible, this depends on the character’s sexual identity, what the Lovers couple will look like. Or at the player's discretion, but the basic version is the male-female pair.

These demons were not discovered so long ago, but their history goes back much further. They typically became souls who died with their love, or were just so attached to each other that the other party died in grief, or committed suicide to follow its love. It can also be said to be tragic lovers.

The first couple to become the first Lovers were in contact with the Sangnir and they were both Force Users. They learned about anima from Sangnir, as well as about blood magic. Eventually, they died a rather tragic death, the woman died on the battlefield, and the man could not bear it and committed suicide. They also successfully preserved themselves in the Netherworld and began gathering souls like them over the centuries and millennia. There are quite a few, because tragic love deaths are unfortunately commonplace.

The souls who came here to the Netherworld, due to the relationship between the two of them, slowly formed into what Lovers still know today and acquired various abilities. This is how this kind of demon came into being. On the other hand, they remained undiscovered for a very long time. They’re pretty special souls and probably haven’t even looked for anyone like that before. Their first summons was also due to chance, it was not an intentional act at all.

Lovers are, by definition, two genders, however, couples are not necessarily of different genders, as everyone may love a different one. However, the male and female demons are capable of different things and the perfect pair is provided by the male-female version. Lovers can only exist in a pair, if one member of the pair dies, the other will also die in the loss of their partner / lover. Tragic lovers end tragically.

Shortly after the death of AMCO AMCO in ABY 864, Ingrid L'lerim Ingrid L'lerim tried to summon her husband from the Netherworld to bring him back to life. Because of their Force-bond destroyed, she was in a very traumatic state and spoiled the summoning spell (although her husband's broken soul may have played a part in it) and managed to summon Lovers instead of Adrian.

After that, not wanting to keep this knowledge to herself, she passed the text and manner of the spell to Spear and the Wardens of the Shroud, within the EE, and then even to the Primyn Group and the Sith Empire, to from now on they can also use this new kind of daemon if they want to.
