Everyone had their own tactics in mind. Back when Kay used to lead these missions before, she wasn't well known. So there weren't a lot of people doubting her or protecting her hide. Instead she was able to just act and go into the situation like any normal person would. But that wasn't the case anymore.

Kay nodded to [member="Domino"] as she stopped [member="Stardust Australis Skirae"] from just going in on her own. And then [member="Voph"] spoke up. The man was right. There was a very real chance that defences were a lot more than they had bargained for, and much more than they could see with just a flyby.

"I'll go in from the west. There used to be another entrance, but it might be cut off.
Either way we--"

Kay stopped speaking the moment that she heard his voice amplified from some speakers at the camp. It was [member="Thraxis"] . The Jackal was here. She didn't freeze, she didn't clench her hands into fists from anger. No. Instead she listened to him taunt them. She spoke to her team.
"Thraxis is here.
That means Gammoreans will be too. The man can be swayed by booze, but the others..."
She didn't know what their price was.

Now she faced a dilema. Should she reveal herself to the Jackal and get him to come out from the camp while the others distracted the Mando and freed the slaves? Or should she continue on finding another way in?
Both options had risks.

"Distract the Mandalorian. Take him away from the camp. I'm going in." Kay activated her personal cloaking device and then adjusted her direction to head towards the western wall. She knew that she wouldn't be rendered compketwly invisible to anyone using thermal scans. But hopefully the hot sands would hide any trace of her signature.

The Bounty Hunter had been instructed to treat these would-be saviours as if they were Force Users, and if that meant one thing: it meant that they were to be treated as if they were highly dangerous. Typically, that situation sprung Fett immediately into action, but now was different. There were instructions laid out, and you always did as the employer asked. Usually, at least.

And, as a result, Fett only stood there still. He watched, and he waited. And he waited, and he waited. But his everlasting gaze was most definitely unwavering.

His hands went limp to either side of his body, his fingers felt stiff from weakness, nearly unresponsive as they slowly unfurled themselves. Kos' mind wandered off elsewhere, deep within the confines of his memories. Only bits and pieces floated to the surface, small fragments of something that could be related to happiness. Vaguely familiar voices and glimpses of smiles - pure hearts not afflicted by some ulterior agenda to destroy, only living for love and peace.

Then Kos remembered his parents, and all they ever taught him. To accept others unconditionally, to always help another - even when they don't deserve it. To always see the good, even when everything else is gone.

Kos' lips trembled as he swallowed a heavy lump in his throat, his eyes stinging with tears as he allowed himself to be handled and escorted to his new "owner".

And suddenly, that small moment was lost. His concentration on all that he held dear was broken, and the small glimpse of happiness Kos once knew faded into a mental fog. All the hopelessness, all the struggle and worry now came crashing back into his chest. His heart tensed and strained, but on the surface he was cold - bereft of any noticeable emotion.

Silent even now, Kos collapsed into himself. Shutting everything and everyone out - that is until someone eventually forces him to cooperate. But for now, he wanted to be deaf and blind to the world around him. None of these people mattered, and they never would. Someday, they would all perish.

And they would be all the more deserving.

Candez smirked to himself hearing that from Thraxis. Forgetting his name? That didn't surprise him one bit. Again, the man seemed odd. As he moved around the gathering crowd, something stopped him. It was Thraxis, speaking over speakers through the camp. He thought he liked the guy before. Now, he was announcing that he knew there were people coming, so they could hear as well? Candez thought he might have to make something personal for him, and he never made personal weapons for others. "Hearin' this, Yam?" The muscular crewmember grunted and shrugged. "This guy is great!"

Hitting Yam Yaw's shoulder as he passed him by, Candez went to move to where everything was about to go down. Drawing his rifle, he went up to get a vantage point on some crates in the camp. From here he could at least watch the entrance. "Yam, you go towards the entrance for me, will ya? Holler if you see someone!" All he got was a grunt.

The Duros readied his rifle over the crate at the very top. Holding it steady on the top of it. Jedi? Slightly unnerving but he thought himself ready this time. "Does anyone have a zero on them?" he asked over the comms in their group.

Ressak was growing imaptient. Not because he was not a warrior, no. The situation around didn´t even concern him, there was no pwoer out there which could make him feel the emotion of fear. He had survived Baal! No. He wanted that cat-person. The High Ordinal was sitting on his walking chair and watching the feline buying a slave from this camp. A force-what? Ressak didn´t care, they have strange religions and faiths in the Galaxy and it was not his domain to learn about them.

He was considering his possibilities. Somehow this little being commanded and installed respect, even while it seemed unarmed. Was this little metal cylinder a weapon? More a flashlight most likely. There were no concerns about any diplomatic relations, Ressak didn´t know about any and had no idea about what Micah was. But these slavers wouldn´t support infighting now, for sure not. Apparently they were in some form of danger.

Even while not feeling that need, he wished he had more troops. A Sanguine Band company would do the trick here, capturing this little creature and mawing everything down which opposed the idea.

The concern from the Covenant's leader was cute, Domino trained by cutting her force powers off and then going toe-to-toe with a former supercommando and her team that bodyguarded her. But she had premission from their leader now. "I'll be fine, he's just a distraction. Like I said, I'll offer support from the rear." Turning to hide a smile until she got her face under control again, Domino began to walk the several hundred yards separating herself from the lone armored figure that was Fett. She was confident but not without reason, and while Kincaid no longer had her beskar armor and the usual bag of tricks that came with a Mandalorian's gear, Domino herself was packing her share of surprises.

He'd come out the front gates, the multi-locked entrance closing behind him, now Domino simply made her way up the makeshift road taking her time to appreciate the slightly improved footing over the sands the party had been traveling on. In no particular hurry the shorter woman ambled towards her chosen opponent stopping some twenty meters short. Her eyes closed for a pair of long breaths, she couldn't study him, not under that T-shaped visor and his armor would show the signs of a true Mandalorian, instead she seemingly returned the favor in giving him a chance to blindside her. If he didn't, her eyes would open to fixate on him with an anticipatory gleam. "I'll pay you fifty grand to frack off," she would almost drawl out, her usually precice speech making it into an ugly thing.

keep on your toes we know slavers do not play fair at all

One of her men looking through some binos chuckled and tapped her shoulder handing the binos over to stardust as she took them looked out towards the camp

His brow cracked, his visage drawn out as he looked over the intruders. It seemed they were deaf as well as dumb. Possibly even mute. "Huh. Ya know, normally people would have some response. Maybe even care?" He continued on the microphone, words laced with boredom as the noise boomed past their approach, metres of echoing noise getting caught into the shifting tides of sand. "But yall are heartless. Ya know when this is done..."Maybe I'll do some actual good and save some Cattle. Ya know, instead of releasing the mentally insane back into society." His words grew dark and cold as he put out a message to the remaining soldiers on the rampart.

"Look, boys, I'll deal with whatever is left. But people, start taking targets." He demanded, Koda had made his target clear, or rather, they made their target clear. As he paced along the ramparts, watching as they approached, interspersed in different directions in their approach.

The young Cathar looked up with curiosity as his purchase was brought over toward him.

Fear? Anger? Ambition? What was he sensing in this individual right now? The man was rife with potential.

Handing his datapad off to the stormtrooper nearest him, the boy silently motioned for the man to take over for him in this bidding war. Extending out his hand, the boy reached outward toward this slave. A wordless offer to take his hand, and be elevated out of all of this.

...and perhaps even find the power to strike back against those who had brought him to this point.

"My name is Micah," the boy offered sweetly. "What is yours?"

Fett remained so consistently persistent beneath the scorching suns, harrowing heat, and against the wild winds that splayed sand so violently against his armoured form-- threatening to engulf a far less concealed individual. Yet, as it seemed and as it always would be, the Mandalorian remained encased in his infamous set of armour that found it's capabilities far surpassing the original design after becoming adorned with several upgrades. You could never afford to fall behind, for if Fett had it were his demise that he was sure to meet. And so he remained perched atop the rock-like formation that became more and more covered in sand as it's limited fauna braved the elements so unwillingly. But, he broke his silence whilst his Carbine remained at half-mast, speaking outwards to these saviours, begging a singular question:

"Are you sure?" His tone had been dry, but evidently curious. They braved incredible dangers, and if they were to perish then the Bounty Hunter may admire their courage no matter how foolish.

Kos' eyes fixated upon the small, unknown creature offering a hand - a gesture of kindness. Yet the young man held no ambition of reciprocating. He looked away, gaze falling upon the floor. Only anger churned inside of his mind - ruthless, indiscriminate rage gnawing at Kos' very bones to be let loose. But he wouldn't.

He struggled instead, to keep his emotions in control. Could he find something inside of himself to quell the toxicity? The very bitterness that glazed his tongue, the tightening of his scrawny frame... he wanted death absolute. Yet, he also understood that he would be no better than his own past if he indulged in such a vendetta.

With no true options left other than death, Kos reluctantly met the child with his own hand, but also staring deeply into his eyes with a message - a promise of blood and unhinged aggression should he have to endure anymore of this existence as a slave. He was far too tired, spread too thin and warped by the despicable nature of corrupt hands.

And with a monotone response, he spoke. "Kos..."

Was she seen? It was hard to say. The last that she saw, all attention had been to the rest of the group. Still with her cloaking device activated, Kay approached a part of the western wall. It was taller than she remembered. Or perhaps that was just an illusion due to the fact that there were no doors or windows to break the flat look of it, coupled with the fact that she was so near to it.

So now what?

She needed to get inside. There was more than one way to get into the camp. She just needed to find it. There was no way that she could jump the wall. It was far too high. If she had a ladder maybe, or if she had borrowed those rocket boots of Lori's, then that could have helped. But no. Kay was on her own.

She walked along the perimeter, running a gloved hand along the solidified mud and brick. All seemed normal until she came across a different sound. Her glove sounded as though it scraped across metal. Stopping, Kay turned towards it and inspected it. A grin grew beneath her helmet as she pressed onto the metalic surface disguised as a brick, which then opened up. It was an access panel. Somewhere nearby was a door. The lit up buttons indicated that it was still active. Perfect.

She tapped into her comms to communicate with the rest of her group. ~I found another entryway. Working on bypassing the system now.~ If all goes well, then she could get the slaves to escape through there while the guards were all distracted out front.

The High Ordinal, after considering the possibilities for several moments, made his decision.

"Vice-Sirdar, call the Enveloper. She shall land in front of the camp and send a platoon of Band warriors. We will capture this one as a trophy."

The Band warrior with the Vice-Sirdar rank signs lifted his crude com device to his mouth and spoke some words in the same barbaric language. Resssak moved outside again on his simple walking device with its spider-like legs. The lifeward was left behind to keep an eye on the target.
Outside the camp was still in a mood and atmosphere of haste. Apparently there was an attack or something going on. Either these maggots didn´t know what an attack is or the attackers are as pathetic as these slavers.

In a low atmosphere, not on a direct course towards the camp nor on a trade route towards the planet, was the Enveloper. A large courier, more a gunboat than a shuttle. Roughly sixty meters long, armoured and armed the dirty red hull increased its speed and directed its course towards the slave camp. In roughly thirty minutes the ship would arrive.

Domino's brow furrowed as someone continued to hurl insults from the safety of the compound's tannoy speakers. However she had more pressing matters, slightly. "Pretty sure," she offered back to the Mandalorian now curious. "I wouldn't have offered if I couldn't afford it." Thoughtfully she paused before helpfully offering, "I could offer you less if your uncomfortable?" Back when she'd been young and on her own on Coruscant overly large offers had always made her uneasy, mostly because they tended to be traps for the desperate and unwary.

With a grunt of annoyance, she suddenly side-stepped to let a bolt of blaster energy strike the ground several meters behind where she'd been standing. Her eyes narrowed, snipers... "Sangromancer, Warden," she keyed her diadem comm again. "Take the towers." They were the obvious spots, nobody needed the Force to know that. Domino also didn't need any confirmation call on her gunner's side as her ship, still circling the area twenty kilometers above the sands in a smooth banking motion, rotated three of its twin turbolasers and began firing on the towers. It was neatly done too, one twin shot on each, one after the other until the gunner knew how many each would require to lose its top before she really opened up. Even then they fired across the compound where possible, taking the firing positions from the inside and blasting the rubble out instead of into the compound and potentially hurting the people they were there to save.

"Either way really," She said returning to her conversation with Fett without concern for the bombardment she'd just ordered or the massive concussions it generated that now washed over them. "I've decided not to kill you since you didn't try anything when my eyes were closed."

((Quick note, I don't expect the towers to be destroyed just like that, but certainly over the next few rounds of posting if nobody takes action against the Sangromancer))

Bill chuckled when he received the order from @Thraxis. Finally some action for ol' bored Bill. He holstered his weapon and unclipped his communicator, contacting Draco Kayra, Bill's second in command aboard the Akira's Star, "Draco, how many of the enforcers did we leave behind on that little contract on Nar Shadda?" A crackly voice replied, "Oh, I'd say about forty, including Giga." Bill facepalmed, forty! That was almost all of them, save about six or seven. This would be the last time he split his forces for an extra dime. Then Bill tilted his head and thought about what extra cash he could make by splitting up his forces, Well maybe not the last time, he thought.

"Draco, keep the crew getting slaves on, but send out the few gunmen we got to help Thraxis and his boys, there seems to be an incursion around the walls. And for the gods' sakes, hurry the process up, I'm sick and tired of having to look at this gods awful sun. I'll be over there myself, I want to get the ship ready for takeoff the second we fill our quota." Draco said an acknowledgement and Bill clipped his communicator back to his belt. Bill set off to his vessel, unwittingly heading to cross paths with the famous [member="Lady Kay"].

Candez Stoon kept himself perked up on the boxes. He had such a great view from where he was at from there, of his crewmember and the entrance to the camp. Action was coming down, he could see that. "What ya see, Yam?" He got a grunt in response. Really, whenever did he not just grunt or growl back? Candez rolled his eyes at hearing the response, then went back down looking through his scope. The main entrance was going to get hit, right? Maybe another way in was being taken. But he would get there quick.

"Salty Mynock, you ready for Plan C?" there was an affirmative response from the other end. "Good. I love Plan C." He had thought of it himself. Even with many disagreements from the crew itself. And he was very enthusiastic on the plan, believing it would work...till the fly over.

Candez covered over his head as a ship circled nearby. Firing onto the place. Candez rolled from the boxes, taking cover beside them instead. "What in the-" A concussion knocked the rest of the words from him as he fell back. He shook his head, leaning up. "Yam...Yam! Get to the Salty Mynock! Jumping to Plan E!"

Between his fingers he twirled a long thread of curled rope that connected the Annunciator to the power box, Thraxis paced back and forth, pulling it to his mouth out of sheer boredom. "Wasn't there more of you lot?" He inquired, his voice dominating the surrounding walls as he met with mild boredom. "Oh well don't matter really does it?" He continued his ramble, watching as a Ship seemed to descend towards the planet. He cocked a brow. "Huh." He replied as he took a few steps forward away from a gun as heavy fire blasted and lampooned the position a Wequay quickly meeting death as it was rocketed into an explosion. "Welp." He moaned arms stretched as bones and knuckles cracked in a mess of noise. "Guess I'll deal with that." His voice echoed over the Communication as he snapped his fingers against the Comm, a creepy air of silence turned as a third of the soldiers turned, rifles pinpointing on the Sangromancer.

The air became a sea of cricketing explosions and gaping gunfire. Or so he would've liked. Why Sempra thought Slavers with Sniper Rifles and not proper Anti-Air Towers was beyond him. Instead, he snapped onto his communicator, "Yo Candez. I need you on Sky Patrol. I'll send you a direct feed of my ships. Fail me, and trust me." He let the words come out as he took a few steps to the side of the rampart, taking in a heavy breath as his tone shifted and moulded to wretching violence. "You won't live to regret it." He paused, looking to the sky, head bouncing back and forth before re-opening the coms. "Cause you'll be dead. By that ship probably. A lot of people die Fleeting." He brought back harmony to the converse, letting fear instilled in him so he was deathly aware of the consequences.

He took a few steps to the side as he pulled back the Comm, finger guns pointing to Stardust specifically as he spoke. "Hey, Stardust. Big Favor to ask you." His words were twisted with cruel familiarity a shifting kindness in his words. "If you and your group could I dunno... regroup with one of the smaller teams? That'd make it just... Just so much easier for me to deal with you and your friends." It was a favour he expected to be met with a shrug or a vibe of disagreement. "And since I'm guessing you won't be able to just... Ya know Talk to me from way down there. I'll hop on a Justice line. Ya know. Our mutual friend." He continued, a vice-like mouth spread beneath his mask as he continued. "Don't worry. He won't be there. He's busy with a couple of slave girls I sent him." He targeted what little camaraderie he and she had. It was loose camaraderie, quite frankly there were people on opposite ends of the way with better relationships he imagined. Thraxis wasn't known for his ability to make friends. More his penchant for enemies.

Kay looked up as the camp's lookouts were being attacked. That prompted her to work quickly. She bit her lower lip as she concentrated, pulling out this wire and that from the access panel and criss crossing them in a manner that a maintenance crewman had taught her before. It was a useful trick and one that helped her bypass needing a code.

Finally the hidden door opened, or rather it pushed itself inward before sliding to the left. Wonderful. Kay stepped in, her cloaking device still activated. At first her idea was to get the slaves to run out, but then they'd be easy targets. Or worse yet, the desert heat would tire them out too quickly as they ran towards the ships just a few kilometers away.

And that was when she saw [member="Bill Kerkov"] and his ship. Slaves were being loaded onto it. Normally that'd be a bad thing, but this time it was good. She could hijack the ship and use it to transport the slaves to their freedom. Of course she wasn't an ace pilot, so that could pose a problem. First thing's first however.

Kay moved quickly to approach Bill from behind, trying to keep her feet light on the ground. And then she gave him a big kick to his backside.

The Bounty Hunter hadn't quite immediately become aware of the impending explosions that were bound to reverberate through the ground, and potentially cause for the loss of footing that he currently possessed. Although, it had come this attention as the presumedly bright green beam of energy soared towards the rocky surface with every intent of creating destruction. His T-Visor gaze, vigilant beneath, had snapped towards it's direction mere moments before it's collision. He had been rather quick to act, and dismounted the stand-like-rock that he had previously mounted himself atop. Fett had made contact with the sand beneath him that shifted, and nearly pressed his frame against the rock. It, much like the ground beneath it, shook violently for it to inevitably subside. His Carbine, all the while, remained within his grip.

Fett had turned to face the Twi'lek, and his Carbine had become levelled with her frame. He took aim, an in conjunction with his Heads-Up-Display had the advantage of analytics. Domino, whomever they may be, had certainly been rather confident in their abilities. Fett had claimed many lives that believed the same of themselves, and he were out for more considering the payment. It only ever took a single shot, and so he squeezed his finger down on that trigger several times as a flurry of crimson bolts had been hurled across the scorching sands in an attempt to strike true on Domino.
