Schesa, unknown regions of the galaxy
Schesa was by far a perfect example of what a backwater planet looked like: technologically inferior to the core, still with its native populace somewhat crawling out of the dark ages of the pre-nuclear age. They had seen many wars, they had seen poverty, famine and distrust. However, they had also seen the horrors which had gone on throughout the galaxy for the past centuries.
Driven underground by a large group of pirates working under a pirate lord, the natives made a desperate attempt of throwing a signal into space, calling for help. This signal so happened to reach the members of the former Imperial Directorate, still seeking out for a place to settle upon and to regroup and reform their ideals. It is up to you to rid Schesa of these ruthless, immoral pirates and to bring Schesa into the new age of the Galaxy.

Pirate lord Baltra sat on a comfortable captain's chair within the bridge of his favorite ship, the Coin-Collector, which by galactic standards was a fairly large, cruiser sized ship with good all round stats. The man remembered how he had gotten the ship simply by fooling those idiots from the Guild with a few empty promises, a bag of credit-chips and a slave girl. He relished in his own intelligence and thus saw most of the men working for him as mangy, unschooled dogs who were only useful as long as they couldpoint their weapon with the nozzle in the right direction. However, he had plans, he wanted to expand, gain renown and infamy and to this end, he had raised this remarkably large pirate fleet.
Settling on Schesa and suppressing it's native populace was but the start, he'd build an empire, yes one forged out of blood and coin, he'd be the greatest pirate lord to have ever lived, the greatest...
"Baltra...we got ships closing in on us...what's the plan?"
The Piratelord stood up from his chair, looking at the readings from one of the monitors, displaying the incoming ships from the former Imperial directorate. "Well...I think the solution to this is simple, it's no big deal...just swarm those idiots, we have the numbers, what's a few ships going to do anyway?"
The pirates have ships of unknown origin in their possession, they are quite numerous and have a fleet mainly consisting out of several dozen of frigate and cruiser sized vessels. They will employ mainly swarming tactics due to their numeric superiority.
Your all arrive either from your own place or with the main ship group from the former directorate. remember, this will mainly be a fleeting thread, with the next part taking care of the ground.
