After an uncomfortably long period of silence, the ambitious young Muun known as Tiro Su finally spoke, however it wasn't to Hal.

A smile creased upon the archivist's face as he heard the order given in their native language for them to stand down and deactivate the security systems. That they were going to let the Sith go. Given that the appetite for enterprise was something deeply engrained into Muun culture there were no objections from the security, in fact, they would likely be compensated from this incident.

Without having to rend and cauterise thin, frail limbs Terrano's lightsaber was deactivated before the order was even given to Hal himself.

“Leave.”

Confident in his safety, the Sith stepped into the open doorway, where the two remaining security guards stood down, blasters already holstered.

“As you wish,” came Hal's eerily stoic reply, as he wasted no time in staying. He walked past the Muun, holding all of his typical composure going straight into the elevator and beginning his descent to leave.

He had no wish to hinder Tiro Su, the Head Librarian of the great Muun City Library.

Beauty, in the eye of this beholder. Maalik was saddened at the grief, not nearly as overwhelming as it should have been. Or should it? He was a Yuuzhan Vong Slayer, emotions and sadness were not things he could understand. But once, once he had understood this emotion. Almost as if an out of body experience, he recalled a moment in his life of sadness. Not being selected for his first academy, for pilot school. His grades weren't good enough, no indication of talent, he had gone off angry. Angry like he was now, with John and the children that never were.

But what about Mary? Maalik opened the locket once more and scanned over the images, feeling the faded silhouettes with his finger. Turning it over, he read the inscription. Together, forever. Forever, a fallacy created by the mortal notion of immortality, as if such a thing wasn't a burden. Barring his teeth, he clipped the lockette back together and draped it over the women's head. This woman died burdened with hope and that crushing thing, that realization that things weren't going to go the way she planned. But there was beauty here, Maalik knew that.

She died in love, in her favorite place, surrounded by this glowing pulse of crystals and the chitter chatter of crabs in the background. Maybe it was nearly painless, falling asleep to the sound of the rushing tide, to never awake again. He silently hope it was the truth, the humanity cutting through even the most armored slayer skin, as he smiled once more. Turning, he put his feet in the water and plunged back in. A single crystal in hand, he made way for the water once more.

Take care, Mary.

"But I.... Well in th...." There was nothing really Ameli could say in return. Sena had her. Gratos had been different. "How could I know he was packing an Ysalamiri?" After Ord Mirit and Bespin, she probably ought to know that wherever there were Mandalorians, there were Ysalamiri. It was as if the two existed within a symbiosis. Ameli could hardly blame them, however. The galaxy would be a pretty terrifying place for them if they did not have their cozy pet to cuddle whenever darkness approached. Yet, the two were still standing. Thanks to Sena's training, Ameli was still standing. Of course, whenever the two fought together, how could they lose? The Sith Knight filled her with such confidence that it didn't even seem a viable option.

"Fine" she said, although Sena had already said the same. It was as if both girls surrendered and awarded the other a win at the same time. Charming. Somewhere, someone was throwing up. But not Ameli. She was too captivated. She rolled her eyes with mock extravagant gestures, though she followed up with a genuine laugh to signify that she was merely joking.

"What's there not to like about beaches? You should come with me to them more often. Beaches make you look good." she said, her mighty eyebrows gesturing like no other, but yet somehow managing to do so in a way that was deemed at least somewhat classy - although her thoughts were anything but. "You packed your outfit, right?" she would disappointed to have come all this way for nothing.

Ameli, forever avoiding the robes of the Sith she deemed dreadfully boring, was in a rather noticeable pink robe, ontop of a pair of black shorts, and a white tee. Over her shoulder, was a bag. Her small size and light frame made it look larger than it actually was. As the self-proclaimed beach expert, she had taken it upon herself to make sure they had packed everything they needed.

Fully expecting the brunette to follow - cause really, where else would she go - Ameli stepped down the ramp and onto the beach. Luckily for them, it was sunny. Turning back in a moment of excitement, a look of challenge on her face, Ameli suddenly turned and started in a sprint towards the beach. Last person to reach the water... Had to... Something... She hadn't exactly thought of a bet yet, there was no time (she had to focus on winning the race, of course). When she won, she would dictate her terms; and Sena better comply.

Mythos was enchanted when he saw her blush, such a charming thing really, "You are Impressive My lady, Princess of Crystals and apart from that respectful and Kind" He finished the dance with a graceful bow as the crowd cheered in appreciation of the display of beauty and serenity. He whispered in her ear as to not alarm or give himself over to eavesdroppers and less than wary kinds as he got the General feeling that is exactly what was she was avoiding and Mythos understood perfectly. "It would be my pleasure and i am Sure Galicus would be more than Happy to see what the You would need. He is better at Business i am better at " He smiled and hid a small chuckle as he kissed her hand and took went back to her room where [member="Kida Malgus"] awaited them. "Other things my lady" He finalized taking Kida back into his arms and kissing her cheek whole holding the Tiara in place. He took a bow to the lady before heading finalizing with an invitation. "Thank you for the Dance, It was marvelous My lady. You should pass By Atrisia when you are not, too preoccupied. I would be more than happy to see you in my Courtroom. " He turned his eyes to Kida which looked marvelous to be precise, "Hows my Princess? I hope you had fun" He chuckled as nuzzled his nose in her hair and bounced her in his arms.

Someone was most certainly throwing up. Dry heaving in disbelief or even disgust but Sena would let them. There was joy here, some odd sort of stability provided to her as if years of loneliness, pain and practicing the art of deploying both was paying off. The goddess, the force or even the Dark Lord for all that Sena cared had provided her with a friend and unlike the rest of those who had attempted to share this sort of connection with her.

Then again, everyone else who had shared any sort of connection with Sena was dead. Everyone but Ameli.

“I did.” Sena shrugged. “Wouldn’t want to go incur the wrath of Ameli Trahir, would I?”

“No, I-” That look. Sena knew that look. “Don’t try it, Ameli. You know you can’t win.”

But sure enough the blonde tried it. The redhead set out in a chase for her friend. No force powers and no cheating. At least, you know, as far as Sena was willing to go before the sting of impending defeat dawned upon her. Competition kicked in, the sprint turned into an even faster sprint. Yeah, it was amazing what the force could do.

Not enough to win though. Coming up behind young miss Trahir; Sena bent down to grab hold of her knees.

“Okay, you won that one purely because I let you. No question about it.”

Well, that wasn’t completely true.

“What did you have in mind, Ameli?”

[To be continued elswhere. Obviously. This is a dominion.]

Kida had quite blanked out while watching the flurry of dancers, so much so that all at once Mythos was back at her side and lifting her little body up into his arms. "Papa!" she was ever so glad to see him, and nuzzled against him when he did the same to her hair. The little girl was getting rather tired, however, Galas and Balls tended to end rather late and she had already been awake for a great many hours. Being that she was also a child mixed in with the habits of a great cat, it was only natural that Kida could not run for long without having her naps!

"Tadderd" she said with a greaaaat big yawn, before settling her head to Animus' shoulder and gently waving to the Princess. She had been spoiled rotten this evening, with candies and crowns! It was like nothing she had experienced before, she was so used to a humble life where she had to hunt down everything she needed. The little girl closed her eyes, wrapped her arms around Animus, and began to drift off. This was a most interesting evening indeed!

“It is finished.” the words slipped out of him before Vassik even realized it. He had been gone, far away immersed in the flows of energy - studying… observing and pondering on the implications that today’s events held for the InterGalactic Banking Clan.

Truthfully, he had been planning on something akin to this a long time ago. Starting with the planned assassination on his own person, but the Magister had never even dared to hope of an insurrection of this scope and severity. The mining site that the Mandalorians had attacked was… not unprecedented and it would help him achieve the result he had wanted for so long.

Time to summon the inner council.

A green blip on his screen made him aware of a message - Galicus of the Sagious House. Again. His insistence for a meeting was bordering the obscene, but then again. The Magister’s dodging of any appointments made was much the same. In a lot of ways it had been a test, because the Patriarch of House Sagious would not have pressed as hard as he did on his own. Which made Vassik inclined to think that there was someone behind the man.

Could be interesting.

The Muun tapped a few buttons and a message would be sent back. It was an invitation for a meeting at a later date, a week after - which would hopefully be enough time to fix the mess the Mandalorians had caused during their little tantrum.

As the Princess finished with Darth Mythos, noting his own royal standing on Atrisia, Napo rushed over and whispered in her ear, again, away from the prying eyes and ears of infochants: "Muun Mines has been attacked by the Mandalorians. I fear it's not safe here either. The Crystal Siren is waiting for your evacuation."

"I will do no such thing!" she exclaimed, louder than she probably meant to say.

"Your grace, please don't be foolish."

Princess Kallisto peered coldly at Napo and his characterization of her as an imbecile. He immmediately apologized and said, "As you wish."

"Prepare a shuttle to the Muun Mines. I will tour the damage and see what I can lend in terms of repairs."

holonet_news.png
Muunilinst: There has been an explosion at Muun Mine Alpha southeast of Harnaiden. 35 and counting killed in what is believed to be a an attack by Mandalorian Soldiers. Images show Mandalorian armored suspects raiding the mines and engaging in vicious firefights with Muun Mine employees and security teams. It is believed that these terrorists set explosive devices that had extensively damaged the mine itself. TMP (The Muun Patriots), a known terrorist group with deep ties and loyalties with the Mandalorians have claimed responsibility for the attacks moments after the explosion.

Harnaiden authorites have denounced the attack and have proclaimed it to be a barbaric scene of senseless violence and have pledged full support in the capture of those responsible. Harnaiden mayor, Mak Gal, has called for martial law as it is to be believed this is just the beginning of a mandalorian aided insurgency.

The Magister sat inside his luxurious shuttle while being transported to the site of the Mandalorian attack. Muun Mine Alpha - it had been one of the first mining spires opened by the Muuns.

A crucial staging point for their metal exportation business which influenced the entire Galactic Market, this terroristic act would certainly have repercussions for the Galaxy at large. Already Vassik’s desk was being swarmed by reports of food prices raising themselves, durasteel producers no longer having utmost faith in the credit and other… regrettable consequences.

But the Muun did not seem to be overly concerned about it.

Call them.” No, Magister Kilvaari seemed to be fairly undisturbed in the face of potential crisis and this probably had some kind of reason.

Magister, are you sure we need to contact them?

Kilvaari looked up from his datapad and studied Nigel for a moment.

Yes, Nigel. They need to understand that it was their negligence that allowed this to happen. If not for their desire to pander to the Mandalorians, if not for their fear of recreating the powerbase that the InterGalactic Banking Clan once represented, if not for their misguided attempts to keep hold of their own personal power? Perhaps the Mandalorians would not have had the audacity to attack one of our mining spires and destabilize the galactic economy.”

Still calm, but there was fire in those eyes. Nigel looked a little bit sick after that speech, but nodded eventually. It wasn’t like he had much choice in the matter anyway.

O-of course, Magister. I have also made contact with Kallisto’s assistant - they are already enroute to the mining zones.”

Excellent. Let me know when the Core gets back to you.”

After their shuttle landed at the site of the attack, the Kallisto contingent emerged now with a tighter security presence around the Princess than before. She not only had her own Palace Guards flanking her on all sides, but Muun Mine Alpha had provided some extra security droids.

“The Muun Patriots,” muttered Thais to Napo. “If they were truly patriots and loyal to Muunilinst they would be spending their time contributing to the economy like the rest of the planet… not trying to destroy it.”

“It appears that there may be martial law…”

“Outlandish!” shouted the Princess as she stormed into the Muun Mine Alpha headquarters. “There will be no such thing,” she continued as if she had some kind of sway over it at all, which of course she didn’t. But it didn’t stop Princess Kallisto at being outraged over this senseless act of violence, and of course, the indirect blow to her own business, which was a trade partner with Muun Mines for centuries.

The CEO of Muun Mines, R’loc Terzo appeared weary, but he gave Princess Kallisto a smile just the same as he bowed at the waist. “This is a terrible tragedy but I assure you, our trade will continue as it always has without disruption.”

“The Kallisto Mining Company and Isis send our deepest condolences to Muun Mines,” the Princess said hurriedly. Clearly, she was ready to get right back to business. “Mr. Terzo, please let me know what you will need in terms of repairing the damage.”

“Manpower and equipment,” said the frazzled Muun CEO. “We have funding sources obviously.”

“Very well,” said Thais, signaling for Napo to make a note. “We’ll send a few thousand workers and a few dozen engineers. Does that work?” Princess Kallisto couldn’t spare any equipment as it was all in use or loaned out to other companies at the moment. But due to her new alliance with [member="Crix Meriet"], the expendable workers would be easy to procure.

“Yes, Your Grace it does.”

“Excellent,” said Thais. “My assistant will make the arrangements. Let’s you and I sit down and have a chat. I would like to find out more about these Muun Patriots and whether you think they will attack again.”

Crix had not come to this little party with the intent of causing trouble. He had promised himself he would be the perfect gentleman of society, he had been doing so well ... then he'd found Magenta. She was racy and exciting and if her story was to be believed she was also the republic minister for racy nights. How could he be expected to pass up on that? He was after all but a man ... a man with feelings and very little self discipline. One thing had led to another she'd got him drunk and somehow they ended up in a maintenance cupboard with his pants round his ankles.

She plunged her face into his again smearing his face with lipstick for the fifth time, my god she was energetic, Crix forgot whether this was round four or fave. He pushed her off him "Listen I need to go back to the main event ... the ...."He was stopped by her latching to his lips. snatching his words out of his mind. She attacked with such force he was sent stumbling and falling out of the cupboard. He was shocked, she was less so. He tried to look cross but only laughed. "I really should go minister" He smiled "Wanna meet a princess?" He asked pushing himself to stand and pulling his pants up. before pulling her with him, she followed willingly.

He did his best to tidy himself up but he still looked disheveled, smeared lipstick all over him, and he was pretty shore he'd lost several shirt buttons. He was a touch concerned by the scandal that might be caused when he reached the party but it seemed that was over, a glance at the holonet told him why an attack ... darn how could she make him miss somthing like that. There would be punishment in line for her for that ... but that was hush for now.

He swiftly learnt that his Princess was on route to another castle . It was all very degrading. None the less he made arrangements to follow. Apparently he was too inebriated to fly so he found someone to fly for him. He didn't see the need to repel her attractions on route and a couple of buttons later they arrived at the mine. He staggered out clutching magenta. He decided he would flip a coin later heads he strangles her tails he enslaves her. That was a concern for later however for now he could see [member="Thais Kallisto"] that meant best behavior. He was too drunk.

He took a sharp intake of breath and strode forward trying not to look drunk. "Majesty" He forced out in his best serious voice "I apologise for my lateness , Minister ... I forget her name ... had an important matter to show me" He smiled "But I'm here to help now "

The Core Five - or the Council of Five, was the de facto ruling council of the InterGalactic Banking Clan and through it Muunilinst proper.

It held a lot of prestige, respectability and power to be associated with this council and even more to be actually part of it. Of course, Vassik was not part of this establishment, from a rich and old family but the Muun had always insisted upon working his way through the Clans. Simply because it meant that in the end he would have more experience, more connections and assets than anyone else in the game.

During times like these that decision truly repaid itself in full.

Because even though technically the Core Five and the Foreman were his superiors? That was mostly postering and grand talking these days - and today was finally the day that he would truly put them in the corner. Today… would be the first day in the right direction, to put the Banking Clan back where it truly belonged.

The Core Five is on the line, Magister Kilvaari.”

Thank you, Nigel. Please also contact [member="Danger Arceneau"] for me, if you could. I think it’s time she and the InterGalactic Banking Clan had a meeting.”

Of course, Magister.”

Curious how Nigel did not think twice about contacting someone as powerful and connected as the Lady Arceneau, but had made such a hassle about contacting five dusty, old Muuns. Perhaps it was simple conditioning and tradition.

Magister Kilvaari.”

How can we help you?

We would think you have more troubling matters at your desk right now.”

Vassik smiled, but there did not seem to be any humor in it.

Esteemed Magisters. I think it’s time we had a good talk about the matters at hand.”

As Nomkneer got behind the cargo, the Mandalorian stopped shooting. Nomkneer asked himself, "what is so important in this cargo he stopped shooting!?", Nomkneer anxiously wanted to defeat him to check it out. As Zambrano the Hutt passed by he thought the Darth would help take care of the mandalorians. He was wrong, Nomkneer had a wounded arm, his body hurt everywhere from the blast of the explosion, all Nomkneer wanted was to know the weakness of that mandalorians armor. Nomkneer had only seconds until the mandalorian came to kill him once for all, Nomkneer decided to confront the mandalorian, he deflected, dodged and even took hits from blasters, as he got close, he lost his footing and collided with the mandalorian, they both fell, Nomkneer on top, used his dagger to try to pierce inside between the helmet and the chest armor. Nomkneer could only scratch the armor protecting his neck. Nomkneer didn't see a way of defeating this enemy, the mandalorian tried to kill Nomkneer using his shoulder blasters, Nomkneer quickly sliced them off before they could hit him, Nomkneer then pierced inside the hole where the shoulder blaster goes, and he sliced the mandalorians arm from the joint of his shoulder. Nomkneer and the mandalorian were staring each other, a gaze of hatred that Nomkneer had, he activated his deadly sight, and desintegrated the glass of the helmet and got to his eyes. Nomkneer then fell down in exhaustion and could not wake up. The toll given from the deadly sight was too much, the mandalorian freaked and shot blaster shots everywhere, missed everything and died from blood loss. Nomkneer had to wake up, luckily he brought Vehiva with him, she now protects him and tries to wake him up, before the other two mandalorians even dare to go check if the cargo arrived to the ship safely.

Before Princess Kallisto entered the meeting room that Mr. Terzo was taking her too, Crix Meriet stumbled up out of nowhere. Raising an eyebrow, she noticed his gait and the smell of alcohol which clung to him like a tight shirt.

“Look what the manka cat dragged in,” she said, unable to completely hide her amusement. Still, this was an embarrassment as she needed all of her representatives to appear capable – and at the very least, sober – especially in front of a powerful Muun like Mr. Terzo. And just who was the floozy on his arm?!? Some harlot it appeared!

“Apology accepted, Mr. Meriet, but now I’m in the middle of a business meeting. I suggest you and… your friend go sleep it off on The Crystal Siren.” She leaned in closer to Crix, placing a hand on his arm and whispering into his ear. “You wouldn’t want me to tell Toby about this, would you?”

She shrewdly wondered what type of response this would elicit from her newest courtier. Would he shrug it off? Or would he be angry that she was using Toby’s name to manipulate him, signaling that she knew much more about their relationship than she let on.

“Come, Mr. Terzo, to the meeting room.”

As she strode away, hoping Crix would just do as he was told and not cause anymore trouble, she wondered just how much she needed to spend to actually acquire Muun Mines. If the sabotage at the hands of TMP was truly as devastating as news reports suggested, perhaps she could use the turmoil to her advantage.

[member="Crix Meriet"] [member="Vassik Kilvaari"]

Crix chuckled for longer than was appropriate at [member="Thais Kallisto"] 's joke, it was about cats or something. Cats were funny ... almost as funny as making slaves race themselves to death. He was happy, she looked amused all was good. Tonight couldn't get any better.

He listened with a look of confusion as the princess started speaking again, she seemed to be telling him to sleep with a siren, but they were nowhere near the sea. He mulled it over in his head gathering that she was trying to get rid of him. He was her helper though, she needed his help she was too dim to conduct business without him. He was about to say as much but before he could align all the words he his head she grabbed his arm. He might not have understood most of what she said for the last ... however long but he understood her threat.

His stomach twisted and he felt slightly sick. He nodded "I understand" He stuttered. His cocky facade melted away completely, Toby was his kryptonite. Whilst the slave knew his master played the field, it was accepted but Toby always looked so sad when it was mentioned, he couldn't watch that this harlot he found wasn't worth that. He turned and his fear morphed into anger, he wanted to make someone suffer for what the princess had done ... how dare she use his precious toby as a weapon.

His gaze hardened as it settled on magenta. She would be the one to bear the cost of his humiliation, his arm shot out and grabbed her hair. He dragged her screaming and crying into a dark corner by the stone chipper. Twenty minutes later he emerged bloodstained and without a woman. It was a shame she had such nice hair. That was immaterial now he had a toby to fawn over to assuage his guilt. If only he could recall where his Toby was. Then he remembered it was urgent he tell [member="Thais Kallisto"] that the harlot would trouble them no longer.

Princess Kallisto was pleased that her comment about Toby elicited the response she was hoping for. In his drunken state, Crix was vulnerable to emotion and anger that was true, but even still, she had never seen his feathers so ruffled. Normally the hawk to her peacock, right now, his wings had certainly been clipped. She was beginning to enjoy the power games between them. Hopefully, she wouldn’t come to regret making him so furious.

He stormed off which gave her the chance to smile apologetically at Mr.Terzo, thoughts of the acquisition back into her bejeweled head. She was nearly to the meeting room now when out of the corner of her eye, she saw Mr. Meriet coming back. Blast it, what did he want now?!?

Princess Kallisto’s eyes widened as she saw him covered in blood. The Palace Guards noticed it too and marched forward, assumedly to arrest him.

“Stop!” Thais commanded to her guards. “Napo, please let Mr. Terzo know that I’ll be there in a few minutes. I just need to have a talk with Mr. Meriet on the Siren.”

An advantage to being so young is that she often didn’t realize she was in danger until it was upon her. So with the most grace and poise she could muster, she hooked her arm around Crix’s to help lead him back to the ship. Besides if he were to attack her in his bloody and drunken state, the Palace Guards would have his head severed before his wiry hands could clutch at her pale, swan-like throat.

Once they were inside the hatch, she practically threw him off of her.

“What is the meaning of this?!? Why are you… bleeding?”

Thais didn’t understand that it wasn’t his blood he was covered in.

“Miss Janine, prepare the holounit. Depending upon, Mr. Meriet's answer, I may just need to do my business with Mr. Terzo remotely from here.”

Now where was it that the Princess of porcelain had gone? The heating room ? he seemed to remember that was what she'd been talking about right before she told him to sleep with a siren and threatened his Toby. He needed to speak to Toby ... Where was his Toby? He had forgotten and in the last moment or so he'd somehow fallen over. How odd. He stood up, now to find Toby. Then he recalled yes the princess, she needed to be told the harlot was dead. He walked back toward the mine, well more staggered but that's beside the point.

'Ooo Guards ... cool' He thought as he saw them march forward " Hi Guys," He began before hiccuping, before he could continue he felt [member="Thais Kallisto"] lock arms with him and pulling him away, she was talking about that siren again, it seemed she was desperate to hook them up ... but why was she coming? Hardly seemed her type of adventure. What was he doing again? He tried to think but they were moving so fast and the floor was rocking and then he was flying. He was jolted back to some sense by the cold floor of the siren. Once the floor stopped rocking he rolled over so that he could sit up. She was throwing questions at him and speaking altogether too fast. There was no sign of either toby or the siren. He was confused.

He panicked when she asked him why he was bleeding, he shouldn't be bleeding. Afterall it was her who he'd pushed into a rock grinder not himself. Oh god if he died why who would look after Toby. Oh gosh he was covered in blood, he was going to die. He began to hyperventilate then he remembered he was covered in the harlots blood not his own, that made him laugh he was so relieved "Oh Majesty you are dumb " He tried to lock eyes with her but it was hard "She had upset you so I pushed her into a rock grinder, she won't upset you no more ... won't be making my Toby sad neither" He smiled "Did I ever tell you how much I love Toby ? I think I've misplaced him though " He sighed, how could he be so stupid as to lose a whole entire man "Instead of meeting Mr. Toff or whatever his name is can you help me find Toby? I lost him, also you might need to tell him , Toff I mean that a slave broke his grinder lost a body in it or something ... clumsy chit really" He was mumbling now and his coherent speak was closely followed by garbled talk as he tried to force himself to stand. He could feel tears welling up now ... he missed toby and he recalled someone threatening him .... what if he was the body in the grinder.

So many thoughts and emotions were going through the Princess's head, but mostly she was just confused. Until [member="Crix Meriet"] called her dumb. and then all she saw was a blinding red behind her eyes. She felt like striking him the same way she had struck Napo and cut her hand on his crystal face during the night that Crix Meriet had arrived at the Crystal Palace.

But she stopped herself and said, "I would slap you across the face for that comment, but I do not want to dirty my hands." It was clear to her that the blood was this unfortunate person whom he had pushed into the rock grinder.

"I also need you to stay calm," she said. And everyone said she was the hysterical eighteen year old! "As you know both of our reputations are at stake but need I remind you that mine is more important here?"

She put her hands on her jutting hip bones, and the Palace Guards around her relaxed somewhat.

"We will find Toby," she spat. Toby, always Toby! she thought. Perhaps she should really make his favorite slave go missing. Then he may learn to respect her a little more.

"But first you need to tell me who you murdered tonight. If I need to concoct a story to save the both of us from prison, I need to do so right away."

The final thing the Princess did as she waited for answers was to order the Palace Guards to sweep the vessel for listening devices. Step one of damage control: make sure there was no trace of evidence to tie them to this unfortunate incident.
