• Fleet Symbol: The symbol of the RKMF is the seal of Ra'Katha; the 'eye-sun' superimposed in the center of a larger sun.
• Description: The Ra'Kathan Mercantile Fleet is a civilian trading fleet associated with and sponsored by the government of Ra'Katha, the Kemotat. The purpose of the mercantile fleet is to provide a an organization that is able to ferry goods too and from Ra'Katha, while providing space-related employment to native Ra'Kathans, which in it of itself is intended to make more and more Ra'Kathans familiar with space and piloting. The Fleet contains no offensive military equipment and relies on the relative safety of numbers and hyperlanes to convey its cargoes between worlds.

HISTORY
Ra'Katha was once famous for its trading might and prowess of its fleets that traveled every hyperplane and to every major planet. However, Ra'Katha's trading past was abandoned when the final Rommer Emperor ordered all ships to be scuttled and for the planet to be sunk into a state of isolation. While the move ensured that Ra'Katha's population would not be decimated from the deadly virus, it destroyed the fleets of the former trading empire.

Now in modern times, Kemotar Bastille Rommer has sought to restore Ra'Katha's trading power and economic prosperity, and one of his first moves is to recreate the trading fleet of Ra'Katha. Dubbed the Ra'Kathan Mercantile Fleet, it will bring more trade, prosperity, and economic success to Ra'Katha now and in the years to come.
