SPECIAL FEATURES

• Force Sensitive Brains: To maintain a nominal connection to the force, a large quantity of brains harvested from force sensitive individuals have been embedded with a Sanguine Kyber Crystal binding their ethereal spirit to their brain, sustained on a cocktail of electrical impulses, alchemized bacta and nourishing ingredients in order to forcefully have the brains remain connected to the force. Even though without bodies, the depth of this connection isn't all that great, the fear and rage incurred on these semi conscious brains in combination with their number allow for a very deep connection to the force far outweighing the lack of their bodies.

DESCRIPTION
Morally corrupt and apprehensible, is one of the many things people could say about the secretive and shadowy Section C division, as it operates within the N&Z Umbrella corporation. It has many research projects, with each more disgustingly perverse and twisting the laws of the galaxy more than the last one. the research project in question; the RUIN engine or Radiated Unified Intelligence Node, is perhaps one of the most revolting ideas brought into reality by the researchers and scientists of section C.

Utilizing the brainwaves of brains harvested from force sensitive individuals kept in a semi-stable fuge state mentally and in a strange way also spiritually, this engine capitalizes on the pain and anguish experienced by these somehow still living beings, allowing those emotions to strengthen their bond with the force, channeling this rage, fear and hatred through the force in order to create temporary rifts akin to the way nightsisters and some sith are capable to teleport themselves through the use of portals. However, with the right source code supplied through sith sorcery and nightsister magics supplied through digitalized formats, other applications may also present themselves in the near future.

However, unlike hyperdrives, these portals do not give access to hyperspace, but can give access to the Nether, a wholly different overlaying dimension, which by its very nature is a very inhospitable and dangerous plane of existence. Unlike traveling through hyperspace though, there is a time dilation effect, whereas one could traverse the nether for days, only to arrive at the destination point in realspace within a matter of moments. While this means the travelling only "seems" instant, for anyone within realspace it is effectively that, however, to those utilizing this engine prototype, in truth, they spend quite some time in the nether, a kink in the prototype that has yet to be rectified.

As such, utilizing this engine to traverse from one point in realspace to another might not be mentally healthy for those who have no experience with the nether, nor with the idea of having effectively no means of contact to anyone or anything within realspace until reemergence occurs. one of the fears of the scientists helming this project, is the thought of being stuck in the nether for ages, only to appear several days later in realspace. So far, only one prototype has been created and further study and trials have to be undertaken for this prototype to truly conceive into a more useable and less morally corrupt replacement for hyperdrives...
