In the shadows of war, there is always a profit to be made. Yet as others chase the slip of plunder between loose fingers, the Black Sun and their Sith conspirators seek to rig the game.

Voss - a world in the Outer Rim - is said to be ruled by powerful and wise Mystics, force-sensitive rulers who lead through magic and prophecy... What a waste! Such talents would be put to better use in market manipulation, circumventing the law, and political coercion... It's just a question of leverage.

Black Sun & Sith Objective: "We have captured Voss-Ka and hold their Mystics hostage within the Tower of Prophecy. However, one of them has smugly suggested our efforts are futile. They have seen our move in a vision and sent out a distress call before our arrival. Fitting. Kill anyone who stands in our way!"

Opposition Objective: "Black Sun and Sith forces have attacked Voss! However, we had been aware of this in advance, thanks to an early warning. Spring the trap and thwart their efforts; the power of the Mystics must not fall into their hands!"

"BONADAN CORPORATE NEWS - Necal Dobwaran, the corporate oligarch and statesman, has passed away. SysFor has assured us that any talk of 'suspicious circumstances' is only rumor intended to destabilize the economy, and all rumormongers will be prosecuted in court. With no heir to speak of, his vast assets and private holdings will be placed under stewardship at the Authority's discretion. In an unusual move, his funeral has been expedited as the wealthy and influential arrive to pay their respects at the oligarch's former estate."

Objective: "Virtually all powermakers will be at that funeral, and with Dobwaran's death and no clear succession, the Corporate Sector is rudderless. This is the opportunity to influence their decision and ensure their policies align with our goals. If I may suggest... Our competitors will surely rely on underhanded tactics to get their way. Should we not do the same? For the greater good, of course!"

Objective: "What do corporate shipping, Beskar smuggling, and rampant piracy have in common? It all happens along the Perlemian Trade Route. The Black Sun and Sith want to exploit it, while the Mandalorians and Imperials have their own plans. Whoever digs their claws in first will be most difficult to uproot. As usual, victory will likely go to the swift and the shrewd, be it the spacer or the ace, the Sith outlaw or the rugged soldier, the admiral or the crime lord. Nothing ever changes in this galaxy."

This is PROPHET MOTIVE, a Black Sun story featuring the Mandalorian Empire, the Sith Order, and the Imperial Confederation. With the Sith Covenant playing a supporting role for the Black Sun. This narrative is one of gambits and conflict in the Outer Rim, with classic tales and familiar tropes - Jedi vs Sith, Mandalorians, outlaws, smugglers, and Imperial officers. There is, of course, room for boardroom politics and social maneuvering, too.

Each objective has been tailored to suit the broad strokes of these Star Wars archetypes. Please read the objective descriptions in the post above for more details, and post your questions below if you have them. Bring your own sub-objectives, too, if you're feeling inspired!

The Junction will go live on OCTOBER 28TH

Anyone belonging to any participating faction is free to join and invited to do so! We are also inviting Jedi characters to participate exclusively in Objective One "Implied Odds" alongside any Mandalorian or Imperial participants, to fight the Black Sun and their Sith co-conspirators.

Whether your factions and characters coordinate with each other is entirely up to you and your faction staff. So please coordinate with each other as you see fit! In general, the Black Sun and Sith groups are playing the antagonist's role in this story.

Anyone up for PVP/PVE action with a NFU? I am thinking of having Pal jump in on the contract just posted on the bounty board for the Imperial Confederation. Probably somewhere in objective III, but could also be in for objective I.

My thought is that it would be a fun PVP matchup that has some PVE elements thrown at both of us to keep it interesting.
