Pleasure Planet - SJO Dominion of the Zeltros Hex

Location: Outside the nightclub, Zeltros
Team: Hulk Smash
Objectives: Get to the ship and direct it over.

The skyline of Zeltros was as immense as ever, spires reaching into the lower atmosphere stretching across the entire horizon, the network of metal seemingly going down and down forever. Pinpoints of light, endless looping lines of them, moved on and on at such distances Saka couldn't keep track of them in her current state.

Gazing out from the entrance amidst the chaos, she quickly descended down the stairs and past several civilians as she made for her masters ship. Saka clambered up the ramp and hammered at the password controls, The door whined as it creaked open. Closing with a heavy clang behind the Padawan as she made for the cockpit of the large ship.

"R4 and HK, bring the final dragon over to the Aroma nightclub, our master is in need of help." She reached out for her comlink once seated in one of the cockpit chairs; after a brief stutter in the Force, it leapt to her hand.

"Master Josh DragonsFlame i'm bringing the ship over now." Saka spoke into the com carefully, looking out of the cockpit window as the droids began to work at the ship controls. It could have been worse, she tried to remind herself. It could have been so much worse if she had remained in the nightclub in her current state.

The Wookiee's orders were very clear, and when a group of men began rushing through the door at the bottom of the stairwell, he was ready for anything they had to bring. The biggest one was a bald-headed Devaronian, thick horns extending from his pale grey-skinned head. With a devilish grin the man raised a strange powder to his nose, inhaling the substance before charging Iakchi with a knife drawn. But the Wookiee did not move.

Instead he held his ground, bellowing a challenge in Shyriiwook as the guard leapt at him, bringing the knife down in a shimmering arc. He was ready, however, and with a thickly furred hand, Iakchi reached out and grabbed his assailant by the throat. It was a bit of a struggle holding the being in the air, as he was likely near the same weight as Iakchi, and as he squeezed him hard enough only to keep hold two of his companions slipped past. The Wookiee didn't pay them much mind, however, as he knew [member="Glenn Knight"] was just behind him and could handle the pair.

With his free hand Iakchi reached for the man's wrist, feeling the cold durasteel of the blade slide along his fur. He squeezed at the wrist, much harder than his hand around the Devaronian's throat, threatening to break his wrist if he didn't drop the knife.

The blade fell before that possibility could be reached.

Once Iakchi was assured there was no threat to him, he eased his grip around the Devaronian's neck, moving his other hand now to the man's leg before flinging him into the remaining group below. Another bellow exited his throat, a wordless challenge for the rest to try the same attack.

Objective: The Gifted Hands - Teach Psychometry

After a time, everyone reported back on their visions, mostly accurate (Charlie had seen wheat fields instead of corn). Even before then, the Jedi Master could feel the very moment that each one connected with their marble to extract the implanted memory.

"These marbles were made to be easy to read for beginners, but none the less, well done to you all. Now, why don't you take turns with each other's marbles? Get a feel for them all?"

She would give everyone about another half hour to experiment with different scenes before bringing them all together for the next stage of the course. She picked up a large hammer from the table, quite weathered looking, but also radiating with a strong aura.

"Now, we're going to practice with an authentic object with real memory imprints." She balanced each end of the hammer in both hands, holding it out for the whole class to see. "This is a blacksmith hammer used by a member of the original Je'daii Order, recently excavated from Tython. It was used to craft armor and force imbued blades for the Order. The forging process for the latter was particularly intense, not unlike personal lightsaber construction now. Because of this, several strong imprints have been left on the hammer. I'd like each of you to have a go, and tell me what you see."

She lifted the hammer's handle straight in one hand, offering it to one of her students to take.

"I'll warn you now, though. There may be at least hundreds or thousands of impressions left on this hammer. It can be overwhelming to be exposed to so many memories at first, so be careful and remain calm. Like I said before, if it becomes too much, then just stop. We're not going to perfect this skill in a day."

Objective 2: Psychometry

Charlie was still very convinced she had seen corn, when they got back to the Rest she would have to prove her point to Jyoti. For now, she remained silent and listened to the lesson. They passed around the marbles and Charlie could experience the desert and the winter horrorland. Frowning, she disliked both memories and when she was done she put them down. Though if she had to pick her favorite out of the two she’d pick the desert, it didn’t seem as bad as the cold. Probably just from her experience on one of her first missions with Jyoti.

Hearing the tale of the hammer, Charlie’s face lit up as she heard Tython. As much as she disliked living there within the small hidden enclave, Tython had a lot of history. She had learned about the ruins and the adventures of the Je’daii and how they were the footing for what became the Sith and the Jedi today. Looking at the others, Charlie saw that no one moved just yet and decided to brave the distance and moved quickly to her Master.

Her small hands reached out to grab the hammer, it had a good weight to it. She examined the craftsmanship for a moment and then exhaled. She needed to hand it off to the others after she attempted to see something. Remembering how she drew out the memories from the marble, Charlie focused on trying to carefully coax out the memories one at a time. It seemed simple enough, her mind saw flashes of something that seemed to be one memory, but being new to the skill, she was suddenly bombarded with several flashes showing different periods.

“Ugh” The small padawan shook her head quickly and offered the hammer back. “Too much, but I mostly saw a lot of fighting. You said the hammer was used to create armor and force weapons – but who ever owned it fended off what looked like a Sith…” Charlie pondered trying to gather her bombarded mind. “Bogan, the followers of Bogan were like the first Sith?” Wishing she could have the hammer to herself for more time to try and sort through the memories, she looked at the others and nodded for them to try as well.

Listening to Master Nooran's instructions, Kat inspected the other marbles and saw the different climates. She literally shuddered when she came out of the blizzard memory, noting that Charlie didn't seem a huge fan of the very extreme temperatures of those locations. Turning around, Kat looked at the hammer with intrigue. It was so ancient yet didn't look brittle or fragile. Charlie went up first and touched it, this tool was something that was definitely more up her street. Learning about ancient races building techniques were something that would appeal to her and something she wondered if she could try out at some point. Make her own Force-Imbued blades.

It seemed the overwhelming memories got to Charlie as she came out of the psychometry. Kat moved forward and gave the hammer a closer look. "Is this one of those things where if you die in the memory you die in real life?" Kat asked, it was a joke but with some hint of geniune concern. What if she watched someone slice her open and kill her? Would that be real? Would it feel real? Seemed to be a dangerous if there was that chance. Touching the hammer, Kat didn't feel much of anything at first. Blinking, she was kind of disappointed, wondering if Charlie stole all the memories from the hammer.

Then like a freight train, everything came flooding into her mind. She could see the hammer slamming onto a blade, hope and pride filled her as she looked at this new blade. Then a haze came over her as the memory shifted, to violent shouting and stench of blood in the air. More and more memories came in faster, some filled with positive and happy emotions, others were much darker. Letting go of the hammer, Kat fell back onto her bottom. Looking at the floor. "So many people. So many dead." She whispered, it was intense, too intense.

The guards dragged Carab out of the room, he looked at them and then the boss guy. "Can I at least take some Elysium? Be much happier and cooperative with you." He stated, wondering why the Jedi decided to become so unsubtle now. At this rate they would never reach them before the supplier escaped, able to return one day. The boss turned around and rolled his eyes, "seems you are just some addict. Here take this for later if you survive." The Zeltron added the last three words with a sinister tone, before tucking the Elysium Carab had brought into his jacket pocket.

They wandered down the halls as the noise from upstairs continued. "Seems those Jedi were onto us alot faster than I thought. Need to do some more checks, ensure they don't have a spy within our network. Contact our smugglers, best we get off Zeltros for awhile, lay low before returning here to get business booming once more." The Zeltron wandered forward as his guards sent out a message to their extensive list of smugglerz. Carab wandered forward, listening to it all but not saying anything important.

Reaching the sewer door, the Zeltron boss moved aside and allowed his guard to open it. "Well not long till ya free addict scum." He grinned to Carab, pushing him into the sewer tunnel.

Sukai was not sure what the others saw but was eager to see, herself also experiencing the desert and field, much preferring the latter even if all the presented environments where something she had experienced before. Though in order of like to dislike it would be field, winter and then desert, very hot climates where not Sukai's thing. Soon the half an hour came up and the trio turned attention to Jyoti as she moved on with the lesson, presenting a hammer that instantly caught her attention, but in more ways then on.

Being a Jin the art of forging a blade was a cultural and traditional honor that almost every person of the Jiben-Jin people learnt from a young age, she herself having crafted a force infused Katanan not long ago. Charlie was the first to take the hammer, seeing fighting as her main image, was it the strongest memory? or had the young girl unconscionably zeroed in on such a memory? She waited with anticipation as Kat had her go, seeing a similar memory, or just more over, but never the less saw death in her visions.

"Well at least you did not die, though would you permit me to have a go"? Reaching down Sukai picked up the metal tool, focusing into it's being, being a little more careful seeing as how the others reacted to visions. Slowly it came to the hammer slamming against steel, blades being forged over many generations, but slowly it did change to that of violence, said hammer cracking into some Sith looking person skull. The change brought Sukai out of the vision, but unlike Charlie or Kat was uncomfortable calm about the whole ordeal, "That was insightful, seems this tool was use as much as a weapon as it was to craft them".

Location: Sewers under Aroma
Objective: Drug Bust

Fortunately, the ops commander changed her mind, and the raid was back on.

Tolth felt a rush of adrenaline as the alarm hit, able to feel all the vermin above trying to flee as Jedi, Rangers, and police struck. He trained his rifle on the secret exit from his position just off to the side of the door.

The wait for rats wasn't long, only a few minutes as they realized their situation was hopeless. The door depressed and slid open with a loud hiss like it hadn't been open in a long time, as if ever.

"Keep quiet, let them come out before we spring the trap."

Set up perfectly still with their active camo engaged, each mercenary was basically invisible at this point.

Out first came a mean looking Jilruan in an ill-fitted black suit, making a quick sweep with a disruptor raised. He missed them even as the stared at him down the barrels of their carbine.

The Jilruan waved for everyone else behind him to follow him out. After him came a Noghri, and then a big bald zeltron in all white - Dorean Frey.

It was the big man himself, owner of Aroma and the suspected ringleader of the whole drug operation here.

"I got the Noghri, Fletcher, and Omarth tag the rest. Then I want stunners in that tunnel!"

The ambush began as Tolth squeezed his trigger, letting off a steady stun blast than he tagged the Noghri with - undoubtedly the most dangerous thing that had entered the sewers.

He dropped like a stone, making a loud splash as his unconscious form slammed into the water. Frey and the Jilruan joining their friend moments later as his teammates did the job.

The tunnel itself was soon saturated from the fire of micro grenades from inbuilt launchers, a nonlethal variety that emitted spheres of electromagnetic energy tuned to stun just like a blaster.

Whoever else was still in that tunnel probably wasn't going to make it through the barrage conscious.

After some time had passed, Josh would find himself leaping over a table, blocking blaster bolts that came his way using his lightsaber, and promptly slashing the blaster of the attacker in half, his foot rearing to deliver a side kick that knocked them cold before Josh had even hit the ground. Taking a deep breath, the Jedi Master would look around to see that Asaraa and Anora had taken care of the rest, except for two. Two criminals who had escaped from below ground, who had gotten by both the Wookiee and Glenn. The Jedi Master would quickly cut them off at the pass, using his size as he would barrel himself into the both of them to tackle them down. As they would pull out their weapons to attack and escape, Josh would stab his saber into the barrel of one of the blasters, causing it to explode, and knocking the other one out of the other's hands in surprise.

Deactivating his lightsaber, Josh would place a hand on both of their heads.

"Sleep..."

With the White Current, the two criminals would soon pass out now that he had time to make the move work. The sprinkler had finally stopped going off, thank kriff. With that, he would grab his communicator, relaying a message as he would begin snapping the knocked out criminals that had come from the basement in cuffs.

"This is Team Hulk Smash. Our floor has been secured, and entrances and exists have been blocked. No reinforcements will be coming from this side, and nobody is getting through either. So long as you've secured any other potential exits down there, our dealers aren't getting out of here. I repeat, Team Hulk Smash's mission is complete. I will be keeping the Wookiee in front of the stairs until confirmation that raid team has concluded their business and all suspects have been apprehended."

Hearing something on the channels about the sewers, and getting a notification that Saka had reached the Dragon, Josh would put in a word to the ship.

"R4, HK, Saka, some criminals have gotten out through the sewers. Can you see if you can trace the sewer routes on the Dragon and pick off any stragglers? Remember, stun."

With his moment in the sun over, Josh would allow himself to relax as he would sit down, legs crossed, beginning to concentrate. The assist earlier from the Sith woman had given his head time to heal, and for him to de-tox. He would be able to focus now... As Battle Meditation would take effect, Team Hulk Smash as well as the other remaining forces would find their spirits lifted, their morale rising, their confidence boosting... While the remaining criminals would find themselves becoming more and more demoralized.

As soon as the doors to the sewers opened there was heavy stun fire from a squad hiding in there. Cursed shouts rung out from the whole suppliers as Carab dived swiftly out of the way. Narrowly avoiding the stun fire, he breathed out a sigh of relief. He wasn't going to be kidnapped today, he would have hated for that to have happened. Instead, Carab kept the Elysium he had tucked deep into one of his many pockets and looked out at the sewer squad as he nicknamed them.

"Hi guys, don't shoot. Part of infiltration team, with Adele and Bellalika. Had to keep these guys off Adele's back while she got what she needed." He held his hands in defense as he smiled somewhat crookedly. He was going to be fine in his mind now. He had the drug and he didn't fail the mission. Not that there was a chance he could have. He vehemently denied he did anything but he professional... Well, he needed to apologise to Adele but otherwise he did fine.
