SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Incredibly Lightweight: More so then normal phrik ore, the weave makes armor and weapons practically weightless.
  • Durable: More an afterthought, the weave is strong and able to outlast nearly anything. Similar to the case that survived a superlaser on alderaan, from supernova to blackholes, superlasers and extreme conditions.
STRENGTHS
  • Exotic Matter: The ethereal nature of the metal makes it near weightless despite being and looking dense within the pocket dimension of dream. In realspace it can be grasped and there is a steady supply able to be used by Krass. When smelted with other materials it can decrease the weight of the material created by 50 percent. The exotic structure with the solidified force energy being able to skirt gravity as it has mass but does not become weighed down as long as there is force energy within it. When smelted and added to materials that are largely heavy it can reduce the weight depending on how much is use (ie: a few grams compared to ingots.. a couple grams might take off some pounds while an ingot will reduce the weight but also the quality of the metal since it doesn't augment the resistances.
  • Physics Meet Metal bat: Being from the dream pocket dimension the metal has unique properties generated and made by Krass. in this case it is psychoreactive and able to be bonded to a single person. That person can then bring it to them like they were holding a massive magnet with the range being hard to determine as they have to be able to sense and feel it.
  • Self Repairing: Designed with the material, the self repairing and maintaining capabilities of the equipment are there to handle the stresses from everyday use.
WEAKNESSES
  • Protective Qualities: Largely non protective in qualities as it doesn't fully adhere to the rules of physics. The metal looks dense and like it would be highly protective but it isn't.
  • Exotic Particles: Largely unknown and not seen in the galaxy before. It isn't invincible nor is it really strong but it reacts violently near dark and anti-matter which can disrupt and destroy it or even cause it to rupture and disintegrate.
DESCRIPTION
Designed and created using the loom from Sasori the phrik weave is made for armor and clothing. Tested to resist minorly lightsabers but not block them as much as a spolid plate it. It can beef up protection if weaved into an outfit like a lattice or provide stronger protection if weaved tightly like for a kama. Much the same way armorweave can be versatile or even beskar can be made into strongs and cables. It can raised somewhat the quality for standard clothing protection wise but you would need a full suit of it to create a protective shell. Instead it is used more akin to synthweaved materials.

[member="Matsu Ike"], this looks pretty good conceptually. I could be wrong on this, but since this looks to me like it's intended to be an armor material. Because of that, I'd like to see it expressed in the armor template even though it's a material.

I imagine that probably seems a bit awkward since it's not a particular piece of armor, so I'd suggest looking at example and this one. The main reason for using the armor template is to better express it's strength at protecting against certain types of damages as a base material.

*Obtaining the weave does not mean the restricted materials development for the Phrik is not needed. A substantial mention/development thread using the material weave needs to be in the development thread or have a development thread for the item.
