+ Fast and Tiny + Due to the small size, streamline shape and addition of variable output ion drives, this droid vessel makes for a difficult target in the heat of battle.
+ Appendage Upgrade + The simple upgrade gives the droid vessels a marked improvement in combat capabilities.
+ Swarm + With a high squadron count, the ships are hard to catch by themselves and rely on a storm of drones to bring down targets.
+ Choices Choices + The addition of the decision chip does allow the droid system to advance its own computing and processing systems.
+ Quicker, Separate Processors + The addition of the GwendoLyn chips allows each fighter to process incoming information with tremendous speed to make tactical decisions.
+ Variable Drives + The addition of the Variable Output Ion Drives give the drones a small trick to alarm and or confuse the enemy. While already fast in standard settings, the Boost Mode will make an already small, quick target even quicker. Agility mode suddenly making them more agile but slower.

- Easy to knock out - With barely any armor to speak of and shield systems stripped for the weapons, these droid vessels are easily knocked out if they are hit. Relying on Swarm tactics and speed to survive.
- Limited Weapons - By themselves, they are annoying given they lack what most might consider dangerous weapons..
- Ion/EMP - A burst from this weapon will force these drones into a shutdown state until returned to function either remotely, or directly. If sufficient, they may not return to operational status at all.
- Choices Choices - It's a droid fighting against sentient beings. The decentralized central processors store the data, but the ships have to integrate that information. And even those split second delays can give an organic pilot the edge.
- Processing Speed - Regardless of the capability to process information quickly, cold hard logic ultimately cannot compare to sentient wit and feeling.
- Variable Output - While a handy trick, it is a dangerous one given the vessel lacks any sort of noteworthy protection. The Ion trails left behind make for an easy target lock regardless of whatever maneuver the droids are attempting.

The original draft to the Mark II Multi-role Droid Starfighter was brought for review after the continued drive to make accessible and cheap starfighters, while not risking the lives of Pilots in the process. The trade off being a droid starfighter that was gutted of armor to make room for the processing systems, single pair of weapons, and still remain sufficiently speedy.

Updated from the old standards that had kept the original from being sent into service with the Eternal Empire, the updated Engines and weapons systems still lend themselves to a healthy drone starfighter that is remarkably small, quick, and agile. With the advanced cognitive functions, the droid starfighters are capable of making tactical decisions to a limited degree while still under the control of the organic operators aboard the launch or command vessel.
