It had been a few days since the events on Mandalore had finally reached its completion, and the OSL folks that had been there, had since made it back home. During the journey back however, Elijah had stirred up the idea of a party, or at least some type of social gathering. It had occurred to him that for quite a number of their people, the experience on Mandalore would’ve been their first, and as such could probably do with a break to just be able to relax. And he was saw the rest wouldn’t shake their head at the idea. So Elijah had brought up the subject to [member="Bethany Kismet"], with the initially idea of hosting in Sanctuary itself. Although [member="Michael Sardun"] had also been present, and a brief debate had broken out between the trio. It took a bit, but after some back and forth, a bit of side eye and a concern for security later; Elijah had relented and decided he’ll go and poke around the towns and villages once they were back on Monastery.
Jump forward some days and Elijah had found an ideal place; the town of Leonasa. Only mere hours after they had docked back home, he had set off from Sanctuary and wasn’t seen for the rest of the day. He did eventually come across the town, and its acting Mayor. The two had discussed a number of things, but the most important thing that had cropped up was that a local festival was going to take place in a couple days time. To Elijah it was perfect, and he quickly broached the subject of having the Sacred Lotus show up and take part. There had been some concerns on the Mayor's part. Elijah though had eased them away citing that his fellow Order members were all good people, a few interesting characters for sure, but overall weren’t going to cause any issues. And even there would be, he made sure that they’d take care of any that would crop up. With that, Elijah had returned back to Sanctuary with the good news, informing Kismet and ensuring that the word got out to everyone in the Order.
And tonight was the night, as the sun was beginning to set the Leonasa Festival was in full swing. Zonif Square was opened up to host the festivities, tables were set out with both food and drink; alcoholic and not. Which the local establishments kept stocked. A large fire had been constructed and lit, with a number of folks already dancing around it. Atop the stage; sitting behind the statue, was a band of local bards that were playing with various basic musical instruments, performing song after song for their audience. And high above; stringed between buildings were lanterns, all lit and shining down upon the festivities below. There was even a few market stalls open, with prospective merchants looking to sell some festival wares.
Elijah though, was sitting atop a half wall. He had a flagon in hand as he watched with a genuinely cheerful smile on his face, occasionally letting out an cheer and laugh as he watched Samuel attempting to woo one of the townswomen; the young lad already drunk off his head.
