Operation Noah's Ark

Lately there has been a few interested parties in evacuating refugees from One Sith space en masse. But such a massive undertaking cannot be done by any single company or faction without draining the resources of any of those entities. There needs to be multiple endpoints, mostly in the Outer Rim, multiple routes... and, of course, the logistical chain.

Home displaced by war?

Belongings tossed into the fire by those wicked Selectivist Republicans?

Then come one come all and take part in the Togoria Resettlement Program.

Thanks to the stalwart effort of our boys in blue the planet of Togoria has come under Imperial control, and has been selected for mass resettlement by those who have lost their home because of the Republic's decadence. The Empire has not forgotten those devastated by Corellia's sundering, and have given those proud Corellians the opportunity to rebuild on the recuperating grasslands of Togoria as well as any who have been rendered homeless.

Also the potential mas kidnapping of our civilians could be greatly considered as an act of war.

Silver Sanctum? Mandalorians? First Order? Galactic Alliance? How much of a stake do they want in Operation Noah's Ark? How many refugees each are they willing to take?

The Republic may not be in the best position to help...

Heh. The Republic, probably not. High profile refugees could probably be sent via smuggling ships if they're contracted independently. Just an idea.

Plus there's the assumption of do they actually want to be taken away from an environment that has actually gone pretty far to relieve those displaced by war, as is evident in the Togoria Resettlement program and the various institutions set up by past government officials that are still in place today.

Generally the Empire has been pretty kind to refugees, but that's mostly because Sith aren't in charge of that aspect of the civil government but rather ran by NFU administrators.

But then again because we're a Dark Sided faction we can't do anything good for our loyal citizens, can we? :p

The Republic is always in a position to help. Just because you're unaware of all of our resources doesn't mean we don't have them. [member="Dunames Lopez"], if you're truly interested, drop by the Galactic Republic faction and start a thread. We may not be able to solve all your problems, but I'm sure we can assist.

So this is pretty much SAINT's whole shtick, with the caveat that we don't expect everyone under the sun to want to leave Sith space. We're focusing on groups persecuted by the Empire, such as Amarans, Togorians, Defrandi, Jin'ha, Asheran lightside cultists, Ragoons, Anslemi, etc. Recognizing that most of the Empire is made up of loyal (or at least government-tolerant) citizens, we work pretty piecemeal, a few shiploads at a time.

In short, if people are interested in getting involved with refugee work, I would humbly offer a place in my organization.

Could've sworn we took care of the Amarans. Someone got sloppy. Though I am at least happy to inform that the Anselmi are but a note for the history books. :)

If you're liberating enslaved peoples, my temple on Ord Cestus would be interested in assisting. I am somewhat close to One Sith space as well as Mandalorian realms, so it is more likely our city would be a stopping point rather than a destination. However, Freehold can stand to establish itself. assist.

Logistics:
  • What planet you gonna hit?
  • How many people you gonna grab?
  • How much of a Fleet presence will the OS armada be?
  • How much warning have our mass of refugees been given to pack?
  • How many ships you bringing?
  • Where you gonna put them all?

  • And lastly, who's footing the bill for all this? Gas ain't cheap. :p

Phase 1, which is a lot smaller scale than the big thing I have in mind, will use a single 500-meter-long ship, and ferry 30,000 refugees from worlds like Khomm or Atrisia to Malastare or Bothawui, and arrive to the target world(s) under the guise of delivering hypermatter.

And the worst in all that is that there will actually be a shipment of hypermatter, along with other relief supplies; the refugees will have as much advance notice to pack up as there is advance notice to place a bulk order for hypermatter.
