Campaign Operation: Dark Vergence - FIRE RISING (Sith vs. Silver Jedi)

And just when the sisters are just thinking that Military Tactics training is bound to be boring…

The Mandalorian approached and Pom knew right away by the look of his cape that it happens to be Rancor; Rancor a beast to which Nightsisters bonds to for life, if she wills to. Pom never wore their hides; the beasts behaved because they want to, not from fear of getting skinned!

The Nightsisters were strangely flabbergasted at the start of the conversation with Hix Tribbul. Pom's eyes widened as she awkwardly turned her head to catch a glimpse of those of her coven who stood behind her. Her eyes flashed to reveal her thought, 'Aren't these Mandalorians a brazen bunch!'

She turned back to look at the Mandalorian not from the ranks of her Empire. Her own people never ask her about such things. Many just approach her with, I need such-and-such. Nobody ever asks to learn anything for real! Magick is not anything a person just picks up on a whim.

Pom's brows first scrunched together in thought at the things he said. The Mandalorians could just analyze the contents of her little goodie pouches, if they happen to snatch them away in time! The handlers may run extensive research on their contents, also devise sensitivity training to turn the Rancors against their innate nature to be involve with the pheromone scents, if that is possible at all. It is unlikely, but possible to link negative events to the mind altering scents. Her brows then rose in unison.

She paused and listened to the whispers returned to her ear upon the wind by the Jinn obligated to serve her will. The Matriarch thought for a moment before she replied to the man offering a deal in the middle of all this. There were Mortars going off all around her location and rubble scattering at her feet, obviously trying not to hit the Mandalorian. Pom just ignored the noise of the blasts. "I don't know about that, Sir," she responded. "I think you intended to sick those glorious beasties on my creation." The Nightsister smiled as she waved a hand to reference the undead, and noting the zombies which the Emperor had breathed life into. "Maybe hoped they'd pose a challenge to myself?" She teased, her smile broadened as she stated her observation. "What kind of person would I be overlooking how you rile them up unhealthily as you do?" The Nightsisters could not imagine anyone not born as Dathomiri being truly dedicated to rearing Rancors as much as her own people. She knew some were bred off world by game hunters for sport. "Now are you saying you don't know better regarding those pups? If so, we would be willing to return them to their native habitat for you," she offered. What else could she do? For one socially inept as she, the man who approached offered no cordial introduction as of yet, and because of his oversight, she did indeed wonder about motive.

"What are you truly after?" she asked. From behind the Matriarch, the coven dropped the Force Barrier, and chucked an uncapped potion vile towards the man's exposed eyes, the liquid spilling from the spinning mouth, fizzing and weaving its spell through the air. Pom's eyes widened for a moment, surprised by the suddenness of the coven's choice reaction.

The twelve set their hands upon the shoulder of their Mistress and Apparated away once again. They've got work to do, and they doubt they will enjoy sitting through lessons on Military Tactics at all!

The Potion vile which consisted of Force Horror. It was the Nightsisters gift to the Mandalorian for dominating those beautiful beasts however he may do so.

Laertia looked around for the two snipers. Where were they? The men and women she led had also gotten behind cover.

She hand signalled to one trooper (Where are they?). She was forced to put her hands back down when she sensed an armor piercing round heading for them.

Laertia struggled to think. For all she had criticized her one time rival Uri Udinia at her bladework , even Laertia knew at a distance it was Uri's game.

She couldn't kill someone she couldn't reach, and, more importantly, couldn't see. Worse, she was pinned down by two of them.

Her armor had fixed the worst of the damage to her internal organs. She would still need to take it easy for about a weak or so. She couldn't afford to rest now, however.

She looked around, keeping her head behind cover. She spotted a smoke grenade on one of the slain heavy armor troops and teleported it to her. She activated it and a thick cloud of dust soon enveloped the area. Laertia then scrambled for cover, bullets barely missing her by the width of a hair. Powerful rounds--

One round hit and exploded. The wake slammed into her breaking ribs and she was flung backward as part of her armor was shredded off at the arm, leaving deep cuts in her arm and side. She felt shrapnel embedded in the wounds as the air left her lungs. Her helmet systems malfunctioned and she felt blinding pain every few seconds, followed by a sudden decrease. It made it hard to focus. She tasted blood in her mouth as she broke into a dead sprint for a thicker structure even as explosive rounds burst the ground around her. She dived into the remains of a water treatment facility But her team had taken the opportunity to get to better cover and had zeroed at least one shooter, who was three hundred meters away at the roof of what had once been a stock market trading center. The other shooter was still undetermined however.

One soldier used a laser designator while another called in an air strike. Sure enough after a few minutes, a starfighter streaked overhead, firing a stream of laser bolts at the building. Fire from that area went silent.

Laertia in the meantime had zeroed the remaining shooter. He was about two hundred meters away inside a burned apartment complex. Her malfunctioning helmet giving her a zoom in and thermal on him. She readied her spear as he began relocating, teleporting the shrapnel out of her body. Her suit's Regenerative systems were not functioning at the moment, so they started bleeding. Not good.

She struggled to focus as she aimed her saber spear, and seperating her focus from her body's pain, flung the spear, teleporting it mid flight. It smacked the sniper in the chest as he crossed into a fire escape...

Laertia sighed. One more to the afterlife.

Her team found her a second after and she realized she was getting weaker. She fell to the ground, side covered in blood. Her suit systems were still barely functional. The soldiers reached her and immediately began treating her wounds as she started to fade in and out of reality.

"Okayyyz...wun probblumm solvedz." Laertia muttered.

The world around her went white and she lost sight of the soldiers for a second.

Laertia grimaced as the saw the near impossibly beautiful Amalgam standing over her in that flesh colored armor.

Laertia flinched as the purple eyed, black haired beast crouched down, running a hand over the face plate of Laertia's helmet.

"So lovely to see you again, Daughter..."

"Leevez meez alonez..." Laertia whispered weakly.

The Petite witch fell down and lay next to the nearly helpless Laertia, hand still stroking her faceplate.

"No true parent can stay out of their child's life."

"I'mz notz yurr kidd..." Laertia growled, repulsed by her touch.

"Oh, please, with everything you learned at Kar Shian? Everything you have learned since? You could not be anything 'less' than my daughter. Just like Uri. Oh, I do so wish she would come out of hiding to play...

Laertia turned to stare at The Amalgam.

"Give yourself to the Dark Side. Make your soul beautiful, Julia..." The Amalgam whispered. "Of course, I could just, oh, I don't know, harm someone close to you...like Moya. Or Melissa and the rest of her clones cosplaying as sisters to you. I wonder how Syd would fair..."

This last bit got a hand clamped on The Amalgam's throat, who grinned.

"That's it Julia. Hurt me. Hurt me..." The Amalgam begged to Laertia's disgust and horror. "With each passing moment you sink into a fury, you come ever so closer to being gorgeous..."

Repulsed, Laertia tried to tear her hand away but the Amalgam held it , forcing Laertia to choke her.

"All your most cherished beliefs have turned out to be lies. Or will turn out to be. Moya, Melissa, Themis, Nine...they will all disappoint you in the end. All of them. But not me Julia. I'm the only one who really has your best interests at heart. Give yourself to the Brain Demon. Give yourself to me..."

"Rotz inn hellz, Amy."

The Amalgam could only smile, even as the grip on her throat tightened.

"Syd will disappoint you the most of all, dear Julia..." she sneered.

Laertia snapped back to reality, where the soldiers had stopped treating her. Instead, kneeling over her was Syd Celsius. She was in her red headed, Atrisian guise, wearing that same red and gold catsuit she wore at Midvinter.

"Are you alright?" The ForceSpawn asked.

"Syd?" Laertia whispered, confused. "Wut arr yoo doinz heer?"

"I can't explain it. I was at the other edge of the capital and I...I felt you get hurt..." Syd admitted hesitantly. "The soldiers were taking too long so I sped things up."

Laertia stood, helped up by Syd, her eyes hidden by the helmet, hiding the way they observed the chromium clad creature.

"Thanx..." she said quietly to Syd before turning to her soldiers.

"We styllz gotz ann offensyvez tuh foylez. Sittzreppz?"

"A line of tanks escorted by Sith Warriors was reported from drone feed a minute ago. They will be on our defense line in minutes." The comms officer answered.

Laertia turned to Syd. "Teamz uppz!?"

Syd smiled. "Definitely..."

Darth Prazutis Darth Prazutis Amani Serys Amani Serys

She didn't see him move, but she felt the impact.

She was halfway across the roof of the building when the Shadow Hand hit, slamming into the southwest corner of the building and breaking through. The sheer force sent a shock through the building, sending Auteme stumbling to regain her footing before realizing there wasn't any for her to regain. The burst hit her and sent her flying instead. The Force screamed danger and she twisted in midair, throwing her arms up. A barrier of light formed to protect her from the debris.

It couldn't protect her from the fall, though -- she landed on her side, skidding to a stop in the dirt. Her focus had been broken. She wasn't getting any help from luck right now, or really anything or anyone. Auteme pushed herself up, only to see the little red splatters on the ground. A cut on her right arm, and a few scrapes on her hand. Nothing bad, she could still feel her fingers. It'd probably take her only a few seconds to heal it.

As terrifying as Darth Prazutis might be, her own mind was her worst enemy in that moment. The sight of blood -- her own blood -- made her sick to the stomach. She cradled her right arm with her left and hobbled into the street. Everything seemed darker; the shadows were longer, the screams louder. Shaky breath. Find the flow.

Find the voice, the one that never gives up.

Her gait became less stunted. The bleeding stopped. She didn't stop to look back.

She couldn't stop moving.

Was going to be the Light as often as he could. If it required more? Then they would find their way to the front, but if he could prevent anyone’s son or daughter from being the Sentinel, then he would. The Jedi Master knew his role, and was learning it more and more as he overturned more relics of the past. The auras of he and his rival, the Dark Lord of the Sith were going to constantly add their own texture and turmoil to any field of battle that they would find. The Grandmaster would approach the Dark Lord with no fear, and only resolve. Resolve to knock the beast back.

Something had clicked once upon a time in the Force for Coren and the Light opened to him greater than it had any Starchaser before him. It was as if he had found the star he was destined for. Feeling the Sith move through the bubble in the Force between the pair, he was able to track his foe’s movements, if the intention within those steps was shielded from him. The blade humming in his hand was gold. The blade of a stalwart defender of the Light.

Luke may have had green, a blade Coren had held once upon a time, but he knew of the Jedi known as Rey. She had a gold blade, and lead the Jedi. Falling into the Force, knowing that his eyes were going to deceive him n this conflict. The golden hue within his aura, mixed with the blues and greens of the light side were glassing with the darkness and blood tons of Carnifex’s own. As the blades caught and screamed against one another, Coren could feel the Force well and was pulling in to absorb the excess in the Force, the dark energy being converted to light, as Coren pushed repulsive energy outward at his foe.

They met again.

Wearing: 451 Suit

Armed with: Wind and Fire Wheels

Shooting Star (Standard and Acid Tipped)

Objective: Assist Laertia Io

It was a literal line of tanks advancing on the areas still controlled by the SJC.

This line of tanks had been going through allied forces like they were distractions, a momentary pebble that you stepped on with bare feat.

Part of it was the super heavy guns on the tanks, and the heavy damage auto targeting rockets and chain guns mounted on the corners of each.

The other was their escort.

Sith Warriors in heavy black armor, each wielding long bladed red lightsabers had reinforced the rest of their defense, flinging away enemy rockets, deflecting bolts and cutting down any that dared to get close. Many Jedi had been slain attempting to take down this seemingly invincible wall of advancing death. It was 14 tanks in all.

Laertia and Syd observed this wall from a roof top along with the rest of Laertia's soldiers. The Warriors ripped Starfighters out of the sky and flung them into the ground if they attempted strafing runs. Laertia had gotten her armor working after a few quick field patches.

"They're skilled. Definitely skilled enough to stop my flames if they see them coming." Syd noted. "It will be extremely difficult to catch them by surprise. More trouble then its worth. On the other hand, they see us...those tanks will fire all their ammo at us."

"Dhey won'tz fyrez atz uss..." Laertia said in a calm voice.

Syd turned. "Why the hell not?"

"I gotz a gyft fer masheenz..." Laertia explained. "Letz getz closuh..."

Syd nodded, flying to a much closer roof top to the advancing line while Laertia suspended thick debris in the air to make a bridge for her soldiers to cross to the building Syd landed on before teleporting there herself. She directed the soldiers to get inside the building and take pot shots where possible.

Syd watched with great intrigue as Laertia concentrated, throwing her will out onto the last tank. The Warriors instantly felt her presence and began directing the tanks to their coordinates.

"Laertia, you might wanna hurry..." Syd urged with clear worry.

"Allmosst...dhere..." Laertia mumbled. Then she had it. Total control of the tanks electronics.

The tank that had been Force Hacked by Laertia began firing its main gun at the tanks next to it, while its chainguns sprayed the warriors around it with lethal blaster fire. Laertia ordered her soldiers to fire smoke grenades through the comlink. Smoke grenade rounds soon fired from windows below them.

"Moovez. Nowz." Laertia said, teleportin in four jumps to the smoke, while Syd flew at high speeds to the smoke while Laertia's hacked tank continue to rain fire on the confused assault line.

(Jedi Order Theme Song Power Up)

(Theme: "Think" by Kaleida)

A Sith Warrior was greeted by a pink Lightsaber blade puncturing his visor. The Black Knight of Nar Shaddaa wasted not another millisecond on him, and had already teleported above her next victim, brutally crushing his neck as he landed.

Syd slowly emerged from the smoke cloud, orange bladed lightsabers joined together to form a staff.

She was surrounded by eight of them. Three rushed her and were immediately blasted by powerful near red flames that exited her mouth.

Two more struck and Syd whispered a spell to increase her speed, parrying their attacks from both sides before gutting them both in Form 2 swipes directing the inferno around her to crash into another warrior and flood every gap in his armor, encouraging the flames to spread over every surface, even as she deflected, ducked or phased through the bolts on the chainguns from the other tanks, one exploding in the distance as Laertia stuffed a thermal detonator into the barrel of it as it swung to fire on Syd's position as she engaged the warriors, beheading one in a scissor motion with her blades, the inferno she generated spreading quickly to where the other tanks each trying to get a lock on Laertia only for her to teleport a piece of debris into their main barrel, or take control of a chaingun on one of the tanks fir a few seconds to spray some Sith from behind.

Syd had gone full BFG Division, splitting her staff apart and buzz sawing her way into hoardes of Sith, outthink three different fighting styles at the same time, using one's Shien to make him stumble into another's Juyo, blades causing flames to erupt from the cuts they made and flooding the armor's occupants with flames.

Laertia's soldiers at last managed to get a good shot and hit two tanks with bunker busting rockets, sendinf shrapnel flying everywhere, forcing Laertia, Syd, and everyone else to duck for a second, before attacking their enemies again.

Syd whipped her blades around her, using her Force Flight to help her attack from odd angles and doing unexpected dodges, her Form 2 allowing her to glide past their attacks with disturbing ease as she beheaded another three, never pausing for one moment as she torched some and beheaded others, drawing her crossbow pistol and firing an acid bolt into one tanks fuel cell, causing a massive explosion that killed every Sith around it.

That was when Syd and Laertia began to truely work in tandem. As they got into each others defensive zones they began to cover each others weaknesses, Syd providing the destructive protection of her flames that frustrated advance and killed the weaker amongst them and Laertia providing sheer brute force at close range and surprise teleport attacks from every angle, her pink Lightsaber and arm mounted blaster shotgun turning everyone in front of her to chunky salsa with enough spam attacks.

They were soon back to back fending of slices, stabs, lightning, and force chokes from over two dozen very pissed off surviving Sith, any attempt to choke fought off by their superior will--

--an round from a surviving tank impacted close by, flinging them backward, both sustaining deep and heavy cuts, green blood leaking from Syd that glowed and red covering Laertia's armor as more parts of it were blasted off. This last tank in of itself would be eliminated by a long range rocket from another of Laertia's soldiers.

("Think" by Kaleida stops abruptly.)

They both landed, both woozy, hitting the ground and in pain. Great pain. The Warriors converged on them. Syd felt a Force choke lift her up out of the rubble and began strangling her with the intent to break her neck. She struggled to defeat the grip on her throat but the tank round had knocked her for a loop. She looked and saw Laertia was in the same bind, too stunned to focus the Force properly, choking in mid air.

Seeing Laertia being harmed caused something to snap in Celsius. For with a pure focused aggression, she brutally crushed the attempt to choke her so hard the one doing it got his fingers broken. Red hot flames left her throat and drenched The Sith in front of her. Syd's flesh wriggled violently as she generated dozens of sword constructs of solid flame, whipping them about into thd survivors of the initial blast, sending a few into the backs of those choking Io, causing them to drop the cough Swordmaster as they were impaled and set ablaze. Io immediately pulled her pistol and froze a warriors head solid flinging her spear into two at once and freezing them solid as they were impaled due to the magic of the crystal powering the Spear's Lightsaber blade, and shredding through the defenses of the last remaining two on her end, While Syd torched the last four on hers.

Syd staggered over to Laertia, still bleeding. This suit was not made with a Regenerative enchantment. It had been made for something that did not fear common kinetic injuries.

Syd, still so used to being flesh and blood, had forgotten that when taking this suit into combat. She didn't realize how much blood she had lost until Laertia was cradling her in her arms, using her own connection to the light to seal up Syd's wounds and prevent further blood loss.

"Yull beez alrighttz, Syd. Wun gud sayve duhserrvez anuthuh. I won'tz letz yooz diez onn meez." Laertia assured her, removing her helmet to look at the weakened ForceSpawn with her own eyes.

Laertia did nothing as Syd reached up and gently stroked her cheek with her thumb a few times.

"You are a beautiful...spiky...black pearl, my dear...Laertia..." Syd said weakly before falling unconscious.

Laertia's soldiers ran up to her.

"Sittreppz..." Laertia requested the tombstone skinned Jedi staring down at Syd, strange, confused feelings she had no context for processing at Syd's unprompted commentary bubbling up.

"Enemies routed in this immediate zone. Our side is moving forward to take more ground."

"I'm gettyngz Syd buhhynd frenndlee lynez..." Laertia said blankly, putting her damaged helmet back on, picking up Syd in her arms, heart pounding and not understanding why. Her soldiers followed her as they made the long slow trek back to a friendly line, friendly tanks and convoys moving past her as they rejoined field HQ, better artillery set up. Laertia brought Syd aboard The Shadow Bride as soldiers ran about the nerve center directing operations dlsewhere or preparing to deploy themselves and placed her on the Med-Bay table and removed her helmet, injecting her with a healing Stim and a applying more of her own healing powers, only to realize with a shock that a Force Bond between them had formed.

Laertia felt some of Syd's pain as she focused on healing her further...hints of it anyway.

Laertia felt extreme unease at this. She had once had a Force Bond to Ursula Sandraven, and she had turned out to be her Archenemy The Amalgam all along.

But lightning couldn't strike twice, could it?

(Cutaway of Dafoe Green Goblin cackling at his reflection in the mirror)

(Cutaway of Ceasar Romero Joker laughing insanely)

(Cutaway of Jack Nicholson Joker laughing as he shoots Carl Grissom on '89)

But as she looked down at the unconscious Syd's gorgeous, exotic features, Laertia didn't see the danger. Syd had been a friend. Syd had fought by her side.

So did Ursula, the nasty, cynical part of her thought.

Syd had killed to keep her safe. Syd had placed her reputation and career on the line to do so.

Syd was...

...Syd was cute, she admitted with a stony yet viciously cold shock to her own sensibilities. She didn't know what to do about this acknowledgement. Didn't know how to process it.

Syd's eyes fluttered open. Dark gray eyes stared into burning orange ones.

"Arr...arr yooz allrytez?" Laertia asked in almost a whisper.

"Quite." Syd assured her, smiling. "Thank you for treating my wounds."

"Oh! Itt...it wuz nuthin..." Laertia said, quietly, scratching the back of her head.

"I can feel the Force connection between us. Its faint but its there. I'm sorry if this is an inconvenience...I didn't intend for it..." Syd explained with sincerity, placing a hand on Laertia's shoulder. She could feel little wisps of Io's confused sensations that made her own heart pound faster

"Oh! Dhat!" Laertia chuckled nervously at Syd's continued bemusement. "Musta beenz ann accydenntz..."

"There are no such things as accidents when it comes to the Force. You know that..." Syd replied though she kept her tone soft to avoid agitating Laertia.

There was an awkward silence between the two for the next fifteen seconds.

Laertia as much to her own shock as Syd's, did something she had never done before.

"Syd..." Laertia trailed, stomach twisting out of sheer nerves as to the next statement that left her, inadvertently carrying on the same Family Tradition Vera Mina herself had unknowingly carried out..

Laertia hesitated a split second just before letting the request leave her, as she really, truly was not certain what would happen next.

"Yurr amayzyngz. Kyss meez. Pleez..."

The literal millisecond she had finished the words, Syd's lips were practically magnetized to hers, hands cupping her scarred face. Laertia's went wide in surprise, than drooped slightly as she returned her first ever actual kiss.

Syd felt something surge in her as she kissed the scarred Jedi. She realized she had been in love with her for a while now. Maybe even since first meeting her at Golbah City.

She kissed Laertia again, this time harder, and this time Laertia returned the kiss more than previously, both of them feeling the bond grow stronger as both of them gave into emotions neither one fully understood but had no intention of fighting. She felt Laertia's confusion become hers, and her desire become Laertia's, both mixed, remixed ad infinitum for as long as the kiss lasted.

Laertia forced herself to pull away, reminding herself there was an active battle that needed winning. Syd breathed heavily, touching her lips where Laertia's had been seconds before.

Laertia looked deeply confused as to what she had done, eyes darting around in anxiety, hot and cold at the same time. The emotional weight of what she had done almost more than her damaged brain could handle, and it was handling it poorly as she had never been a such a situation, least of all one she had initiated.

The ForceSpawn got off the table, slowly putting both hands on her shoulders, trying to calm Io.

"I...I shuddint..." Laertia stuttered, almost paralyzed with anxiety at what she had done. "I shuddintz havv dunnz dhat..."

"Its okay. Its nothing to be ashamed of." Syd assured her gently, pulling her close, fingers gliding through Io's black hair. Laertia visibly relaxed, though her eyes still darted around in uncertainty for a few seconds before sinking into the moment, letting herself calm down as she felt Syd's hand petting her scalp softly. Laertia kissed her again, this time eagerly, after a few moments.

"I know this amazing spot to watch the stars from on Kashyyyk..." Syd whispered into Laertia's ear. "Nice and secluded..."

"I'll bryngz teaa..." Laertia said in a still nervous whisper, wide eyed more at herself than the situation anymore.

Syd chuckled and kissed Laertia 'very' passionately. Laertia felt herself go weak in the knees for the first time. It felt like she was about to faint

Laertia literally forced herself to pull away and put her helmet back on.

"Ummm...dhere...dherez styll a lotta fytynz so wee shudd fokuss onn dhat..." Laertia said.

Syd nodded. "Of course. Anything in particular?"

"Duh morr artylleree wee taykez outz, duh bettuh." Laertia said without looking back as she left the ship, trying to suppress her giddy nervous excitement at just getting her first actual romantic kiss.

Syd, for her part could not believe her luck so far. Not only was she moving away from being a pure instrument of death, she now had someone to help her get closer to being a normal person. Someone like her. Someone special.

Syd could only hope whatever had just developed between her and Laertia would continue to be special and grow...

The Sith created space and then sent the nearby bush on fire with the Force, had prepared to dodge best she could but then she saw that the bush was set on fire and was confused. How was thing meant to do her harm? It was not near enough to her to set her on fire, so she wasn't sure what the attack was meant to do. Then she realised, remembering that the Sith had spat hatred at the Mandalorians that this fight wasn't about Jedi versus Sith or Light fighting the Dark, this was much more personal to the Sith. This was about Mandalorians and them eliminating everyone. Kat knew that the fire was meant to spread and start something more. Her pike wasn't the easiest to wield in one hand but she need to extinguish the flames with the Force.

Holding the Lightsaber in her one hand, Kat used the distance set between her and the Sith to jump and slam the ground hard with the Force, air killing the flames. Using cryokinesis to chill the air around the embers to help them die out. "Burning a planet will not cure your pain, nor end your hatred for Mandalorians. You will only burn people and creatures alive who did not cause you any harm." Kat commented as she held her Lightsaber one handed, ready to fight again.

Moya waited patiently as the pink masked assassin and his remaining cohort circled her.

"Never thought I'd see an actual Alkahest-Spawn..." the Pink Masked Sith Assassin commented. "Jedi don't usually commission your type due to their so-called 'Ethical Considerations'. They must be getting desperate."

"They didn't make me..." Moya replied. "But if they did...could you honestly blame them at this point?"

"Hardly. I've seen how The Sith act..." the Pink Masked Assassin replied, swinging his odachi like red lightsaber at her, the other assassin sending his chain shoto at her after spinning it.

She deflected the strike from pink mask with her black and green blade, but the tip of the other Assassin's chain weapon managed to hit the electronics on her vibrowhip and forced her backward into a series of blackwards flips as they charged and slashed at her relentlessly.

Pink Mask was the faster one, his long blade and great swiftness making it very difficult to mount an adequate defense. He even seemed to be extra wary of her Sith Soresu, avoiding the feints and tricks that killed the others, instead going for wide sweeps and fast lunges while the chain wielding sith swung his weapon toward her skull. Moya ducked, but not before getting hit with a literal Force wave so powerful it shattered most of her bones as she was flung backward, slamming into a building, the biot staggered up, not feeling the pain at all, a mangled broken mess in a catsuit, bleeding glowing green blood in massive amounts, stunned and woozy. Her design, for all its resistance to the Dark Side, was more vulnerable to nuetral Force Powers as a result.

She was too slow to block the spinning slice from the Assassin with the chain shoto, and it bit deep into her side. The Pink Mask nearly took her head off, and she barely rolled out of the way from another slice from the chain wielding Sith as he got close and attempted to ensnare her. The flesh on her fractured neck wriggled as Pink Mask attempted to choke her with the Dark Side, but it was ineffectual, and his momentary surprise allowed Moya to react. She wasn't dying here. Laertia needed her.

The pressure of being at constant risk of death had started to shift her perspective. It was so easy to slip into the tide of war. To give in and become savage. That was the real curse of The Jedi. That temptation was always there, whispering.

No wonder her daughter was so damaged.

Moya Force Pushed the Chain Sith backward onto a piece of protruding debris, impaling him through the skull and killing him instantly. The Pink Mask stabbed for her skull and she barely shifted out of the way, the blade grazing her neck.

Moya Force pulled the Pink Mask forward and rammed her blade upward, but Pink Mask pulled back in time himself. However, he did not see Moya Force Pull something else across the dirt and debris as he retreated...

His frontal armor singed and ruined, he tore it off, revealing rotting looking white skin on a muscled torso covered in saber scars. The mangled android went into a lobsided defensive guard.

"You have proven an interesting opponent. But the game is at an end..." Pink Mask said, focusing his blade forward.

"Buddy, you're level fourteen at best, with a few well chosen perks. Feth You." Moya hissed as her shattered jaw repaired itself.

Enraged by her dismissive trolling, the Pink Mask yelled and charged with great speed.

Moya drained the last of her wrist laser batteries slowing him, and as he came with striking range, blade humming towards her face she Force Pulled the Chain Shoto up from the debris, catching the vertical strike, then the next frenzy of strikes after, the cortosis weave length of chain slowly heating, until she spun out of a stab for her head, chain on the verge of melting, Force Jumped and caught both his wrists in a loop with the verge of melting part, making him scream as she landed behind him, yanking him back and into her blade, beheading him.

The Android took the next two to three minutes for her skeleton, flesh and suit to heal.

"Like I said...starter boss..." Moya snorted, searching him and his deceased compatriots for sweet loot...

(Zelda Acquisition Theme Plays)

Weapon: CHAIN-SHOTO

Lightsaber shoto attached to a saber resistant chain. Used in a similar manner to the Lightwhip

Item: PINK MASK

Pink Oni Mask siezed from an eccentric but lethal Sith Assassin. Battle Trophy.

The kind of loot only a starter boss would have.

Moya, soon fully healed, felt Laertia approaching and was running to meet her.

"Sweetie!" The Android whispered, relieved when they finally met in the same burned out building, but not before Laertia had casually deflected a bolt from a storm trooper hiding on a rooftop back into his head.

"Moya! Yull nevuh guess wut jusst happenedz! Letz extrakt yooz anndz I'yll tellz yooz allz abboutz itz!" Laertia gushed, gesturing for her to follow after hugging her.

"Anything you want, Sweetie..." Moya assured her daughter keeping watch for her six as Laertia took point...it was enough they were together once more. She had lived to see her another day...
